We've actually been here a few times over the years. (Always for happy hour food and wine.) Small menu for HH food but works for us with their flatbreads and sliders. We've seen ladies there for a bridal shower and the layout of the central bar with dining tables made it seem like a private affair for them. read more

Came across The Tipsy a few weeks back while I was out working in that area. Stopped in with my husband and had the sliders, flatbread and a glass of wine. The food was good and the wine a glass of wine. The vibe was chill and the service was good. Now a few weeks later and we are back in the area and decided to give it another whirl oh and we are so happy we did. The vibe was much better and the food was excellent. We ordered the grilled cheese with bacon and onion jam. Let me tell you I will be thinking about this grilled until I return for another one. The bacon was perfectly crisp the two blend of cheeses were amazing together along with a little avocado and that onion jam fit so perfectly to make it so memorable it came with a side of chip which was a nice add on. Also, ordered the wedge salad. The wedge was so tasty and a very nice portion to split. The buttermilk dressing with a touch of balsamic was the perfect match for this stepping up the taste of this simple salad and making it one of my top favorite salads. Had the Rocky Point Shrimp which is ceviche style with chips and it did not disappoint. Wife had the bruschetta which they have several to choose from and you can mix and match which is great. Service has always been great, Fran and Justin have taken good care of us with fast and friendly service, and Fran comes up with some quick witted comebacks to my sometimes smart@as comments which I enjoy. Our first visit was a mixed bag. We loved the vibe and the facility. The chairs and the bar are really gorgeous. I ordered a MM Old Fashioned off the menu and it was OK. I then ordered a Whistlepig Manhattan on the rocks. The bartender poured the spirits directly into the glass over a cloudy cube without mixing over ice separately. Bad form! My wife's Cosmo was fine and presented well. We ordered the "Colossal" shrimp cocktail for $20. The shrimp were anything but Colossal and this was very poor value. They were cooked perfectly if that helps. My wife had the Caprese salad and enjoyed it. I had the bacon grilled cheese which was a miss for me. There was almost no cheese on the sandwich and the onion jam overpowered the sandwich. The chips were stale. The bacon was fine. For the prices, I expect way more in bartending and food quality/execution. read more

Start: first round martinis. Blueberry lemon drop was great, Tipsy martini was just OK per my wife. I didn't like it (not a prosecco fan). We had the crab cakes as well, they were very good, different from the norm. We then ordered the Thai flatbread which was outstanding! Light thin and crispy crust with a ton of flavor. Highly recommend! Then the meatballs. They were great with one exception. We ordered the 5 piece instead of the 3 piece. There should have been 2 pieces of bread instead of the 1 you get with the 3 piece. The bread was fantastic. For dessert we did cocktails. She had the espresso martini and said it was excellent. I had the Bumbu rum old fashioned which was very good with one recommendation. Eat the Bordeaux cherry while sipping the drink, it really adds something. To top it off or server Maddie was fantastic! You couldn't tell that they were short handed the way she was taking care of us. Her recommendations were spot on. We really enjoyed our first visit here. read more

Wonderful date night at The Tipsy! We've been wanting to visit for a while but never had a free evening. Thankfully we made it for Happy Hour and what a great time we had! The bartender was super friendly and amazingly attentive considering how busy it was. I ordered the Tipsy Martini and my husband had the Moscow mule. We were both quite pleased with our drink orders. This is a super classy little bar tucked away in a strip mall. I came across it by accident and I'm so glad I did. The bar is gorgeous and very large, but they also have patio seating if you prefer. The creative bruschetta options are great, and so are the drinks. I had a vodka cocktail with green apple purée, SO GOOD! It's on the pricy side but you get what you pay for. Down side- wine came out beyond cold- not great for a red. $24 charcuterie board had baby bell cheese and 2 other presliced cheeses that I think came from the grocery next door. For the price, I expected some decent cheese and artisan bread. Also for a wine bar I would expect more mellow, quieter relaxing music. We had the meatballs, which tasted the same as what I make from Sam's club (and they are good), and the French Dip was "Gamey" tasting with an Au Jus that is screaming for help. Julie and I stopped here after golf (and finding our 1st choice didn't open until 6pm). The strip mall location is deceptive. You will walk through a storefront door into an upscale lounge. They have some nice signature cocktails along with a varied beer tap. The wine list is extensive for the size of the lounge. Michael is a knowledgeable, craft bartender who appreciates the classic cocktail. They do have a nice food menu, including a charcuterie tray, flatbreads and bruschettas. Unfortunately, I'm on a strict diet right now. So, that means we'll have to stop by next time we're in the valley to sample the food. I have no doubt it will be a good as it looks. read more

Last night I went to have a nice time with friends and per the owner they advised the bartender to not serve me bc my face was red! I wasn't intoxicated or being a bother. What if someone has a skin issue or was on a certain medication and made their face red? Just going to boot them out so fast without speaking to the actual person? I went with my mom and they (a man and an old woman waitress) told us they would seat us outside for a few minutes until a table opened up, we ordered a few drinks, sat in the cold, and watched as they seated people and ignored us. Our waitress was nice, but nobody seemed to have told our young waitress we were waiting for an inside seat. We waited 70 minutes and paid $100 to sit out in the cold on the patio by ourselves (we were the only ones out there because everyone else got seats). Finally we got seats but that was after we had already had two drinks, two meals, and waited over an hour. Imagine my joy when my glass of Bella Gloss Pinot Noir was served at around 58 degrees instead of room temperature! We normally go to Phoenix or Scottsdale but we were near arrowhead & came across this on yelp . It's cute, nothing to crazy but clean, wasn't super busy, one server who was nice . Also ordered the espresso martini, again we are normally use to paying for drinks that seem pricier which the espresso martini was $15 which seems over priced for a local bar & it was decent but not AZ88 good, not sure what kind of espresso they use but didn't seem " fresh " regardless I could see why locals come here ! read more
