Came in around 5:30 on a Tuesday. The bartender was clearly new, which is understandable--but she was working alone and had several drink orders to manage and dint seem confident in her ability to make the various drinks that were ordered. Unfortunately, after our first round, we weren't acknowledged or offered another drink for well over 15 minutes. More surprising was the lack of attention to liquor laws. a very clearly under-21-looking individual was allowed to sit at the bar counter with her mother. When I brought this up, I was told she was "well over 21," but she was never carded. It's surprising that this was assumed rather than verified. Carding anyone who appears under 40 should be standard practice. On top of that our food arrived after the food for the girl and her mother despite our order being placed about 20 minutes earlier. Service was slow and the bartender struggled to acknowledge patrons at her counter while being able to make drinks at the same time. It's disappointing, because we had a great experience here previously. However, based on this visit, I don't think we'll be returning. read more

I was super excited to try this place. I hate when my expectations are high... I came in here with a date on Sunday morning. It wasn't very busy. It's got an upscale feel and apparently all the food is made from scratch. My date ordered a mimosa and it took about 10 minutes to get it. I ordered a water and nearly drank the whole thing before she got her beverage. The menu is kind of fun. It's not your normal breakfast place. I got the short rib omelette. It was a little dry, but overall very good. It did take a while for our server to come back and give us our check. There are a lot of other things on the menu that I would like to try next time. So, we found this new restaurant online and decided to give it a try. They're already open, but their grand opening is actually on September 4. We went on a Saturday night, and the place is pretty big, there's even a back area that would be perfect for a party or a big group. Most of the staff were super friendly and helpful. There was this one younger guy who didn't seem too happy to be there, kind of giving off the "I'd rather be anywhere else" vibe. But the family running the place? They were awesome, really warm and welcoming, and they made the whole experience feel personal. We ordered the Bruschetta Boards with Smoked Salmon, Short Rib, and Carnitas, the Seafood Risotto, Veal Parmigiana, and Bucatini Carbonara. Everything was so tasty and the portions were huge! We had also wanted to try the Carpaccio de Polipo and Seafood Cannelloni, but they weren't available that night. Honestly, everything we had was delicious. The Bruschetta was fresh and full of flavor, the Risotto was creamy, the Veal Parmigiana was cooked perfectly, and the Carbonara was rich but not too heavy. You could tell they really cared about making good food. All in all, we had a great time and we'll definitely be back to try more from their menu. They also have brunch, which we're really excited to check out next time. This place surpassed my expectations! The mimosa flights are generous and have a lot of interesting flavors and garnishes. Great value! No eye contact from our server and no urgency to get our orders in - Bartender seemed a little pre occupied to get her friend or her regulars their drinks. Short Rib polenta with going back for!! - Short Rib Omelette had chunks of Short Rib ! pretty darn good as well - Dirty Morning Omelette is really freaking good !!! good ratio good meats !! nice touch with the goat cheese! the main order on the dishes are good - the sides are pretty sad - potatoes were a batch of " already been sitting here for a while "-- taste frozen and the " peppers and onion" are non existent . The bread was super sad pieces of just bread - no life. One would think for the evening menu with "Fresh baked bread choices " are part of the menu, why not intro some of those to make it enticing for dinner ? Overall seems the main stars of the menu are executed almost perfectly- and the sides are a sad afterthought. We tried several dishes and they were all good. There are a lot of items on the menu with your choice of chicken or veal. For seafood lovers, you can indulge in shrimp pasta or a nice branzino. We didn't know this restaurant had opened in place of the Mexican restaurant we enjoyed so read the reviews and looked over the menu and decided to give it a try. Made a reservation but didn't know the happy hour was limited to the bar area and outside. We were greeted and offered an outdoor table with heaters but the cold wind blew in and we requested to be moved inside. Our server was very sweet and went in to ask about the availability for us. There was a four top inside waiting to pay and so we didn't have to wait long. We love the variety of choices on the happy hour menu and the prices allowed for us to choose our own preferences for salads and items that my husbands and I might not have gotten for a share plate. Ie, I had the eggplant parmigiana which was excellent. (The two top beside me was there for the first time and an order ahead of us and they loved the items they had ordered as well. ) we had their house salad which was fresh and a nice portion. Our friends had their house salad fried raviolis (as did the two top folks) and they looked good. They said it was good too. My husband ordered the Spaghetti Allo Scoglio which had muscles, calamari, and scallops cooked in a white wine tomato broth. Definitely a nice find. The muscle I tasted was small but sweet. The offer music on some days and brunch. Too many of our favorite Italian restaurants in the area have either gone down in quality or are just gone. This will be our new place to go. read more

Half of our party liked this new place, but half did not. The wine, beer, & mixed drinks were fine. The salmon & scallop entrees, served with risotto & pasta, were very good. The Caesar salad, special fried shrimp appetizer, chicken parmesan, & chicken piccata were just boring/lacking any flavor. The chicken breast in one dish had a bone & both dishes had tough chicken. The prices were average for Italian food, but they need to bring up their food a few notches. Our server, Christy (?), was very pleasant & helpful. The ambiance was fine, new lights were nice, but otherwise it's quite similar to when it was the Mexican restaurant(s). Important to know, their happy hour looks promising, but it's only served in the bar area. The live music on the patio was fun & far away enough not to disturb our conversation. After a long wait, our waitress brought the bill and asked us to pay, not realizing we never received our meals. She re-entered the order, but after another 30 minutes and still no dinner, we decided to leave. The restaurant appeared understaffed and overwhelmed. The bruschetta board we had was very average. The sun was so bright that I could not see the menu nor the people seated across from me. the shades did not block the sun. *3 menus were dropped off at the table for a party of 6. *Sat there for 23 minutes without any staff member acknowledging us. After we ate, she brought over what I would assume would be. The check but no she looked at me and stated that'll be $55. I was shocked first of all. I'm taking my friend out to lunch. She does not need to know how much things were. I was so embarrassed you don't do that so to make a long story short, I will never return to this. I will not pass it out that it is a good restaurant. What an amazing surprise! Unfortunately the location has struggled with several previous restaurants. I think this is the one that will stick! Family owned and operated! Dads in the kitchen while moms running the front of the house. You can tell they have a long history of running restaurants. The food was amazing as well as the drinks. We all had something different on the menu. Enjoyed their spin on the arancini with meat inside and shrimp with crispy noodles. Each entree was delicious, plentiful and delightful!
