I really had such high hopes for this place. It's a beautifully decorated restaurant with a great outdoor patio. The food was beautifully presented and tasted good (not great). The menu offers plenty of choices, and we appreciated that they include gluten-free options. They also make it clear they don't serve condiments since every dish is "perfectly seasoned" -- an interesting touch, though a bit rigid. The real issue was the service. From the start, the staff repeatedly emphasized that they couldn't accommodate groups over eight, however, they eventually sat our larger group at two nearby tables. Our server, came across as condescending. When we asked about pulling over a couple of chairs, she refused, saying the patio would fill up (it never did). When we expressed our disappointment, she replied that not everyone "understands their concept." (And yes, take a look at the restaurant's previous replies to reviews -- they reflect a similar tone to what we experienced.) For me, good food and friendly hospitality go hand in hand. Unfortunately, this place missed the mark.

We came here for a date night and it was amazing! They can make basically everything gluten free. We had Rosemary fries, bbq wings, charcuterie board, gluten free bread basket, and strawberry buñuelos for dessert. We also had a beer flight and sangria to drink. I was surprised by how big the portions were and definitely over-ordered for the two of us and our table was pretty small for all the food. It was all delicious! We especially liked the fries, wings, and bread basket. We like the cinnamon butter the bread came with, but we didn't care for the hatch chili dip or the strawberry cream cheese one. The service was great we will definitely be back!

The food and service are incredible. The cocktails are freaking delicious. I can't believe I hadn't discovered this place sooner. You won't regret it!

This has been bookmarked for almost a year and my fiancé surprisingly took us here for lunch! Came in around 3pm and it wasn't busy at all so we were able to get seated right away. Since we had our puppy with us, we asked for outside seating. Weather has been just perfect for outside dining anyhow and I appreciate how it's dog friendly here. We got the meatballs and the Chefs Special charcuterie board. Both were OUTSTANDING! Presentation too pretty to eat, haha! The meatballs were cooked perfectly and the sauce blended with it well. The charcuterie board filled me up...from sweet, to sour, to savory; I enjoyed it all :) Service 5/5 Food 5/5 For both orders, we spent about $55 + tip

Hidden gem. We had an amazing experience trying this restaurant for the first time. Great service and food. We also were surprised to find live music and great cocktails. The food was made fresh with top ingredients the cheeseboard and pea salad, which was amazing portions are also really good and the staff was extremely nice and professional highly recommend.

Luckily found this lil place at the end of the Frys plaza. Amazing ambiance, great staff and service all around. Great beverage selection although we had craft beers still good selections! We made it to happy hour & the HH selections were fun! We had the meat & cheese plate which was pretty filling for two but we were intrigued by the goat cheese & sun dried tomato plate so we had that too! So many flavors!! Presentation was 100% - flavors were 100%. I have a nut allergy and they served the almonds separately. Waitress was so friendly and fun. Told us about live music nights. Cannot wait to go back.

    this is a bouganvilla ..yummy

Great service. Had truffle fries, meatballs and a signature coxktail..nice beer flight for only $8. Good music, comfortable seating.. welcomed couches and chill vibe. Will go back.

We stopped on our way to check this spot out since we didn't know when we'd be in the area again. You won't find food at Cactus Taproom so if you're looking for a glass of whine, beer or a little of both this may be your spot. What caught my eye was they offer flights. I love flights because you get to try a little of quite a few to see what you like or don't. When we pulled into the lot I was surprised at how small it is. There is a bar of course, a handful of high top tables and a small patio. The place was packed. We somehow managed to snag the last available table. It was full of definite locals as many seemed familiar with each other. There was one man running the bar and though very busy he was friendly, patient and no one seemed to be having to wait long for drinks. The place was clean. I thought it was cool that they offered many fridges of different beers etc to purchase and take home or of course drink while there. If you read my reviews I love sour beers and this is part of why we came here. I tried both they had on tap and unfortunately wasn't a fan of either. We will have to come back and maybe try a few in the fridge section. I didn't want to try anything else and risk mixing wine etc. good local spot of just wanted to have a few drinks alone or with friends.

This is a hard one to write. I'm still processing what happened and why. My wife and I have been…read moreto Vogue many times, and the food has always been solid and service good. We saw that the special this weekend was Beef Wellington, one of my favorites, so we invited another couple to go out with us to enjoy this dish (I was the only one in our party who has had this previously). We made an on-line reservation, and had no choice other than "patio". We thought this would be fine. When we arrived, we were led to a table in the front corner of the patio area, one of only two that were in the full sun. The temperature was relatively mild - 84 degrees, but anyone who has spent any time in the Arizona sun knows how hot it can be regardless of the ambient temperature. There were many open tables on the patio as well as in the restaurant, so we asked if we could have a table that wasn't in the full sun. We were told "no". When we asked for a reason, we were told that others who had made reservations had specifically requested the other tables in that area. Since the patio was 80%+ empty at that time, this seemed a little strange - I'm sure that they stagger reservations. OK, what about the tables that did NOT have "Reserved" signs on them? No response. Asked again...no response. I then asked if there were shades that could be pulled down or anything else we could do to make the table more amenable to a decent meal. All I got was "no"...followed by "you can wait until the sun goes down" - which wasn't due to happen for well over an hour. By this time our group had decided that we would go elsewhere for dinner - we had no desire to sit in the full sun for the entirety of dinner. I asked to speak to a manager before we left so I could convey my disappointment at the situation. My interactions with him made me feel worse about the situation because of his attitude. We had a low key, non-emotional discussion - but apathy just oozed from his pores. He reiterated that the tables on the patio other than "ours" had been specifically requested by others. Apparently he felt that simply echoing the "company line" was sufficient, because that was all I got from him. No offer of any alternate solution - maybe to check and see if something might be available indoors....or suggest that we sit in the bar? Absolutely nothing - just a deadpan stare that told me he'd like me to leave. You'd think that a manager at a mid-level restaurant would at least offer something like "I'm sorry we can't accommodate you" or "please give us another chance in the future". Nope...nothing. So, I informed him that it was unfortunate that he'd lost some repeat customers...and not just for that night. No response - he just turned his back and walked away. I guess it's good that this business must enjoy full tables every night and don't need to treat their customers well. I seldom leave a poor review on a place on Yelp - but this place REALLY deserves it based on our treatment.

It was very crowded, there was a waiting list, but we got right in. They even had the "party space" set up and it was full, as well. We sat in there, which was fun, since we'd always wanted to see what it looks like. They even had "fireplaces" set up on the TV's in the room...made it feel quite cozy. The bread was so warm and fresh, along with 2 butters...Champagne Brie and Tomato. I like to save some of the butter for my steak, which is so wonderful. For our starters, Hubby had the Fleming's Salad and I had the Caesar Salad, they're both quite good. I went with my lovely Filet Mignon, but Hubby actually wanted to try something different and went with the Double Breast of Chicken. We've noticed it before and had always wanted to try it. My Filet was perfect and Hubby's Chicken was delightful. For our sides, I got the Sweet Corn Brulee and Hubby got a Baked Potato with butter, sour cream and chives (not completely loaded, sorta semi-loaded). We were both pretty full, so skipped dessert this time. Plus, I have a feeling we'll be having lots of goodies on Christmas Day...LOL! Our server, Daniel, was so nice. He added to the lovely experience we had. All in all, it was a beautiful Christmas Eve dinner!!!
