What a pleasant surprise for hotel food. The salmon was delicious. 100% recommend eating here. Don't let the menu fool you. Would come back.

Feel free to post my full visit from your security footage! My husband, kids, and I stopped in for an early dinner, we had never been but see the reviews online so we wanted to try it out! Getting seated, we didn't want a high top and it was the only thing available. The hostesses couldn't give us an estimate of what the wait time would be for a different table, but I'm realizing after our horrendous experience- they probably weren't trained. We ended up just taking the high top to negate any further confusion with a time estimate. It's crowded inside, and your table is crowded. The energy and atmosphere is tense and overwhelming. It's a sports bar, though- so I feel like that's consistent with any other sports bar you'd pop in to. We decided on the build your own appetizer to start, it came out room temperature. While our server was taking our order for the rest of the food (there was apparently an issue with the table next to ours and their food being taken to the incorrect table, again with poor training) the manager went out to the table next to ours to deliver food and turned to the server at my table, taking my order, and interrupted me to yell at her. He yelled at her about putting the incorrect table on the tickets and the food going to the wrong table, yelled at her the right table numbers( I guess for her to remember next time?), and then stormed off. Leaving our server, to pick up the pieces and apologize for an emotionally triggered man that should have some self control if he's leading a team or part of a company. I was absolutely disgusted with the behavior of the leadership in this establishment and the food was unremarkable. Cold, bland, and stingy is how I would describe the food we were served. There were barely any cheese curds on the Poutine, The Ole Smokey pizza was mediocre and the pasta was bland. I think this restaurant rides the coattails of being on the food network but it does not meet expectations, by far. There is a lack of training all around and that falls on leadership, only. The hostesses couldn't give a wait time, the bartender was over serving customers (I'm reporting that separately to the state), and the servers/runners aren't fully trained for the floor- but instead of teaching, training and finding a resolution- their lead will berate and belittle them to satisfy his ego and ruin your experience. I'm actually grateful the food was as mediocre as it was because I'm happy to never be back.

The bartender was friendly and attentive, and took our order quickly. By the time we arrived they had already sold out of the bone marrow small plate and the tomahawk steak. Totally understandable for the last seating of the night, but those were two of the dishes we were really looking forward to trying. The main reason for 1 less star. It's a cool little spot for drinks and a gourmet bite. The kitchen, bar, and seating area are fairly compact. Even though the kitchen is ventilated, you can still feel a bit of the heat and smoke coming off the grill. We ordered the grilled romaine salad (they do charge a small upcharge if you split plates), along with the bao buns and the wagyu meatballs. Everything was well presented, tasty. Overall, a great option for the west side if you're looking for elevated bar bites and good drinks. My tip: grab an earlier reservation if you can, so you have a better chance at the popular dishes before they sell out.

One of the waitresses remembers us every time we come in, which is awesome! Last time I was here I got the quesadilla and my husband got the burger which during happy hour I believe was only $10 for his meal, and $4 for pints of beers. They always have sports playing on the TVs as well as several different games to play like ping-pong and foosball. It is nice because it's right on the golf course so you can play a round of golf or do the driving range and come here after. The vibe of the place is very laid back and family friendly. You cannot bring dogs unless they are service animals so just keep that in mind. It is tucked away in Arrowhead Neighborhood, but GPS takes you right there. The parking lot does have potholes, but it's not a big enough deal to warrant a four star review. We will definitely be coming back again.

My friend got the white beans soup and was quite content with that. Went a second time with two friends for dinner but was disappointed there were no booths so it was hard to buffer the noise from a long table where there were squealing children so it was not a dining hour atmosphere like we were expecting wherein we could have quiet conversation and savor Mediterranean food since it felt like a lunch room, so we had to leave before ordering, but by golly, the menu looked very appealing. We would have sat outside which is a very pleasant area but it was too windy. This area eventually could be even better if enhanced with the wall fountain functioning, and maybe even a central cooling fountain added as well, along with plantings like cypress and dwarf palms to add to the ambiance. This place has the potential for being THE go-to oasis in Sun City and I can envision it being a regular spot to meet up with friends over cool minty drinks with or without a meal. What puts it above many outdoor dining areas around here is that it is set back enough from Bell Road so the traffic sound is not overwhelming and thankfully lacks that annoying "whoosh." May the oasis come to pass!

After about 25 minutes (we were told 20), I asked for an update. I stood at the front desk for a full minute while staff counted money--no greeting, eye contact, or acknowledgment at all. It was super awkward. When our table was ready, she just pointed to it from across the room, walked us over, dropped the menus, and left without saying a single word. Definitely not the kind of service you expect from someone at the front greeting customers. Thankfully, our server, Maya, was much more pleasant. She greeted us, got our order right, and the food arrived in about 15 minutes. The portions were huge, hot, fresh, and delicious. It was a bit pricey--about $60 after tip for two meals and an iced tea--but that's pretty typical for a casino. Their happy hour menu looks great, and we'd return to try the large selection of appetizers for a lighter meal. We took leftovers home, but next time we'd probably order less.

The bartender handed us menus and walked away. 5 minute later he asked if we were ready to order. I asked if we could order drinks first. He took hubs beer order and I ordered a tall Tito's soda. I've never seen Tito poured from the gun before, but the soda was flat. He poured another. The weakest drink I've ever had and honestly, I'm not sure it was Tito's. It didn't taste right. The bartender also leaned over the bar for the gun, filled someone's water and walked to the other end of the bar. He also yelled at a customer that he found the lid to her togo cup and tossed it on the bar. She had to get up from her table to get it. So unprofessional. Maybe he was new? Lunch was so freaking good. Hubs had Thai Noodles. He's not a fan of too much spice. I warned him. He ended up picking out the Thai chilies and said it was incredible, once he got his taste buds back. I had the most unexpected and phenomenal sandwich. Blackberry jam, barbecued brisket and cheese on the thickets delicious sourdough bread. It's on the menu as grilled cheese. I will order it every time. The onion rings were giant and so crispy! Hopefully we'll have better service the next time. First impressions are very important. This one was bad.
