I selected the Tortilla Soup: Small chunks of slow cooked chicken in a cheese & chicken broth, green chiles, potatoes, sweet corn, carrots & top with mixed cheeses, avocado, and tortilla strips and a side salad. The soup was delicious to the last drop. The side salad is filling and with the soup it was a perfect lunch. The music wasn't loud. We sat by a window with just enough light and not blinded by sun. If I didn't say it in a previous review, this is our favorite Mexican restaurant. We have found nowhere else that compares to the food and hospitality. ... so much so that we returned the next week with our daughters. It's Father's Day and the tables are filled as soon as guests leave. The staff is attentive. The kitchen is BUSY!! They were doing their best with a nonstop crowd. Found a beautiful cake that had fruit glaze to it, and had birthday wishes and the birthday girl's name written in it. Absolutely beautiful. Bought a couple dozen cookies for the tent where firefighters and law enforcement were using to take a well-earned break in. Very nice people. Excellent pastries.

I've heard the queso Birria was really good and I can confirm it's probably the best queso birria I've had so far, anywhere! The place is super clean and the people working there were really friendly and talkative. So I had two queso Birria tacos with the consume, a large quesadilla and a large Jamaica. I'm not gonna lie. It was a little pricey, but well worth it. and I don't even know if it's fair to say that this place is pricey, but that cost me almost 30 bucks but that was with tip. OK, so the taco itself without the consummae was absolutely delicious and very cheesy. Lots of melted cheese in there and then the consumae (even AutoCorrect can't spell it so whatever) is so good in calling it, "Oh my God consumeeeaie". I did sample the green and red salsa. Both are really good and thankfully different from every other taco shop in the area. They also have sliced cucumbers, the onions and cilantro mix, and limes, and there was a creamy sauce that I did not try. Anyway, this place is amazing. I cannot wait to go back!! When we arrived, parking was convenient since it's located in a plaza surrounded by other businesses and restaurants. However, once we walked in, we were a bit surprised that no one greeted us. We stood there for a while looking over the menu, and still no acknowledgment, which felt a little off. Eventually, someone came up to the counter to take our order. We ordered several carne asada tacos, one breaded steak taco, and refried beans. The food was decent, but the steak was noticeably drier compared to what we're used to at the other location we usually visit. The margaritas were okay, nothing particularly memorable. Although this location is newer and larger, the overall experience didn't quite match up to the consistency and service we've had before. Because of that, we'll likely stick with our usual location moving forward.

We were seated promptly and our server came right over with chips and salsa. They gave us both a hot and mild salsas. You can't make food spicy enough for me and my girlfriend does not like spicy food at all, so having both was perfect for us. Both salsas had a great flavor. Had the spinach enchilada combination place, so it came with rice and beans. It was all good. The serving size was good for what you pay. We will definitely be returning to try other menu items.
