4'26 - $20 margaritas. way too sweet (alcohol?)
Nonie B.

The $20 margarita was all sugar and the fish and chips a lot of breading, but if you're in for a good view night time here will give it to you.

Decided to try a new restaurant in the area for brunch today, and we were genuinely impressed, not only by the food and atmosphere, but especially by the service. Our waiter, Landon, was outstanding from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, professional, and always one step ahead without ever feeling overbearing. He truly didn't miss a beat the entire time. It's rare these days to come across service that makes such a positive impression, and Landon absolutely did. We'll definitely be back and will specifically request him again. Great experience all around!

Across from the Victory stairs stopped in for lunch shortly after they opened. Seated immediately, and greeted by Madison who was quick and attentive. Dinks and appetizers brought out quickly, followed by lunch, and dessert. Ordered the Honey pesto flatbread, was lightly sweet with just a little heat. Followed by the fish and chips, and blackened mahi wrap. Both were good, served with fries. Finished with cinnamon donuts. A good meal but a little pricey. Will come back, happy hour prices looked good.

I'll come here again and again and again. Not only are the staff an absolutely a delight at every visit, but the cleanliness is impeccable. The food is always super hot as well, while the rotating, seasonal menu always keeps it interesting and fresh. There's always something new to try. Come here if you get a chance. You won't regret it!!

5 stars for the venue and view. Both day and night views of the valley are unparalleled, making the Vic a great place to bring visitors. The staff is friendly and generally attentive. Cocktails are a bargain. As other reviews have said, the food isn't always outstanding, but like most places, there are some consistently good choices. The wings are always good as is the burger. Salmon is consistently good if maybe a little over medium. Fish and chips are very good as well. The beef stroganoff was a special and my wife really liked it (ordered without mushrooms).

Happy hour from 3-5 here was great! We were lucky to make it in time, and got nearly every food item off the happy hour menu. To start, I got the prickly pear Paloma with vodka instead of tequila (personal preference) which was amazing! We got the wings dry rubbed with cowboy seasoning, garlic bread, potato skins, and sliders. My absolute favorite were the wings!! I've been thinking about them ever since, LOL. The sliders were really good too, but the garlic bread wasn't too special. I personally wasn't a big fan of the potato skins, but the bacon on them was good and really Smokey. I also got an espresso martini which wasn't bad, but not my favorite. The ambiance and service here is great. We were able to sit on the patio and watch the sunset over the golf course and mountains. They also had heaters outside for when it gets cold. They have a good looking dessert menu but unfortunately I didn't try any this time. Looking forward to trying more from here!

Great food, but the service missed the mark. Our waiter wasn't attentive, and we waited 20 minutes just for drinks.

Our waiter was attentive, but my wife asked for the bottle of wine we ordered to be chilled before it was brought out. When it arrived, it was delivered in an ice bucket which I initially thought was cool, but the reason it was in an ice bucket was because it was not pre-chilled as requested. The food was excellent as always, but we were both disappointed by the very small menu. We had been there only a few weeks ago and the menu was two pages with many more selections. There were at least 3 burger options on the old menu, and was surprised to only see the Wagyu burger on the new one (the most expensive of the 3 btw). I really liked the one I ordered previously and wanted to order again, but it was not on the newer single page menu. My wife also found her favorite salad (a one with beets missing). We didn't make it to the pool, but we did get to have dinner at Litchfield's and it was such a beautiful resort , the ambiance was incredible. My boyfriend loved all the wooden floors and western aesthetic. He mentioned what great quality wood floors and tables there were. We arrived early and had a cocktail at the bar prior to entering the restaurant, the waitress and service were great as well. At Litchfield's we sat outside and the ambiance was very pleasant, welcoming and cozy. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp puttanesca, very good and I ordered the marinated wagyu flank, very delicious and cooked to perfection. We also had the garlic Parmesan fries and mashed potatoes. Everything was very tasty and definitely did not disappoint. Our server was more than helpful in making suggestions and he accommodated us accordingly. The cocktails were also well made and just the right touch. Overall this restaurant is very inviting and excellent with the treatment of their customers. Will definitely be back when in town.

She was so kind, super attentive, and made a point to make eye contact and engage with everyone at the table. It was my dad's birthday, and they brought out a birthday treat for him, which was such a nice, thoughtful touch. However, the check-in process was very uncomfortable. The host who greeted us didn't make eye contact with me at all, a person with a disability. Instead of speaking to me directly, he asked the person I was with if I needed a child's menu. As an adult, being talked about rather than talked to was rude and honestly pretty embarrassing. It would have been much more professional to provide standard menus for everyone or just ask me directly if I needed anything specific. The kitchen definitely knows what they are doing. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious: The bread and butter were warm and a great start. We had the bruschetta and a shrimp appetizer, both were hits. Our table ordered the cheeseburger and fries, the salmon, and two orders of the short ribs. Everyone loved their meal and had zero complaints about the food quality. The restaurant was packed and had a high-energy vibe, but the music was way too loud, it made it a bit hard to talk. The lighting was also a bit strange; it was very dark, and at several points, the lights would flicker or completely turn off and on again, which was a bit distracting. If you want to go on a Sunday evening like we did (6:00 PM), definitely plan ahead! We made our reservation a couple of days before, but by the time our day arrived, they were completely booked. I'd recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance to be safe. I would definitely come back for the food and the excellent waitstaff service, but I really hope management works with their hosting team on how to treat every guest with basic respect and direct communication.

There was a steady flow of customers, but not over crowded. Not too bad for a Super Bowl Sunday mid morning get together. I selected the Everything Smoked Salmon sandwich with a side of home fries. The presentation was colorful and inviting. Anytime you can see flavors, you know you're in for a fulfilling treat. I was asked if I would like the bread toasted and of course I affirmed that I did. It was a nice crunch in contrast to a heaping serving of beefy tomato and salmon. The home fries were a nice side dish choice and were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The tangy blackberry orange lemonade is always a top choice for beverage. All served in good time with a smile. Outdoor seating was plentiful for a great day like today when the weather is perfect.

We've spent a lot here over the years and have always supported and recommended this location. That's why my son's recent experience was so disappointing. He stopped in to get some work done, something he's done many times during slow hours. Sometimes he buys something, sometimes he doesn't, and it has never been an issue. This has always been a welcoming place. This time, a staff member told him he couldn't sit and work unless he purchased something. What made it worse was the explanation: a table of eight older gentlemen "didn't like" that he was sitting there working, and that was the reason he needed to leave or buy something. It wasn't busy, it wasn't about space, and it wasn't about a policy. It was simply another group of customers not liking his presence, and the staff acting on that. After years of loyalty, that was incredibly disappointing. If there's a new policy, that's fine, just communicate it clearly and apply it consistently. Asking a long‑time customer to leave because another table "didn't like" them is not acceptable. This experience genuinely made us rethink continuing to support this location.

I was disappointed. I'll start with the positives - the service was impeccable. Absolutely perfect! Attentive, not too much, not too little, and very pleasant. The food was good. Not great, given the prices, but very good. What really, really bothered me was the environment. There is supposed to be a dress code for all Morton's restaurants across the country. This particular location clearly did not enforce it. People were there in flip flops, swimsuit cover, bandanas around their heads, torn t-shirts, shorts, and other sloppy clothing. When I come to a restaurant and pay at least $72 for a steak, I expect the dress code to be enforced. It was truly disappointing. As a side note, not that this is the restaurant's responsibility, but if you are coming to a high-end restaurant, learn some manners. I'm talking to the 30-ish woman sitting near us who was talking loudly, licking the bowls and her plate, chewing with her mouth open, and food was falling out, and allowed her cell phone to ring loudly while she ignored it and kept on with her disruptive and inappropriate behavior. She was dressed in a faded, frayed t-shirt, and dirty shorts. This is not how any neurotypical adult should behave in an upscale restaurant (truly, any restaurant). Anyway, overall, I was disappointed, and so was my husband. We like to frequent high end steakhouses, and we both agreed that Morton's would be last on our list to come to again.
