We arrived right at opening time 6 a.m. on a Saturday and were the first ones there. Our server was friendly and helpful. We shared a skillet dish, but it didn't come in a cast iron skillet like I expected. Instead, it was served on a ceramic plate. It was a nice plate, but I did think the dish would come in actual cast iron based on the name. The interior is very nice and colorful, and overall the place has a great vibe. The parking lot might get busy since it's shared with a sports bar, so I can see there being some overlap during peak times. This place is a bit pricier than other similar breakfast spots, but they have a lot of menu options I still want to try. First time visiting. Learned that it was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. We also learned that they do not have smoothies but they do have several options for mimosas and healthy vitamin shots. We had to wait about 15-min on a Sunday morning. That's not too bad. We got seated and our server was cordial. The 3 of us ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice, chicken & waffles (apparently featured on DDD), the traditional Benedict, the Basil Melt breakfast sandwich, and a waffle dog. All surprisingly delicious since the dishes weren't photogenic. The potatoes O'Brien could've been cooked longer. They looked undercooked. They were so pale I expected them to be cold, but it tasted okay with enough salt & pepper. We have been to a few different Over Easy locations around town, but this was our first visit to the Glendale location. We started our breakfast off with the cheddar biscuit dips, which we have never had before. My only gripe about them was that the ratio was a bit off and we had way more queso than biscuit dippers. That aside, they were delicious and the queso was really good. I always get the same thing when we go to Over Easy--the Southwest omelette. It's fantastic and never lets me down. Our table was inside, kind of near the patio, so we got in some good people watching while enjoying the a/c. One thing we did notice about this location was that there was a long wait for our food to come out. We probably waited about 20-30 minutes for our entrees to come out after the biscuit dippers, which was unusual and something we never experience at the location in Surprise. read more

First time eating at Over Easy, but not my first time eating out in Phoenix. I'm always suprised how busy restaraunts are everywhere we go, especially on non-weekend days, during odd hours. Monday, late morning, the place was packed but we were ushered to a seat immediately and ordered shortly thereafter. This is a solid breakfast establishment with excellent service. I wasn't blown away by their breakfast burrito--little stingy on the meat and veges, heavy on potato, but their green chile sauce is fantastic. Brunch is yum! This spot was a good pick. There are so many good things on the menu. We started with the Blueberry cornbread, and the dipped sausage on a stick, and coffee. So good. We also shared a pitcher of the Brunch Punch that is clearly made with fresh squeezed juices. I shared the cinnamon french toast and ordered a side of eggs scrambled and bacon, for the win! Our server was Louis. He was very nice and took good care of us. Our table was inside but right before the door that rolls open to the outdoor patio. It is a perfect spot. The vibe is fresh, bright, and fun!! The decor is super cute. The menu has so many fab items to try, we will be back soon. I stopped by today by myself to try this place out - this was my first time trying Over Easy - I was greeted as soon as I walked in by the hostess, she let me choose where I wanted to sit, it was not to busy at 11 am when I came. My server Kiersta was super nice and everything I ordered came out perfectly. The ambiance in here is also very nice and very clean. The staff is very friendly! The price point is also not that bad! I ordered togo for my boyfriend and the total for everything I got and himself was $50. Not bad for a restaurant. I ordered the 3 Pancakes with O'Brien potatoes and 4 pieces of bacon. Cool brunch spot, but the food wasn't anything spectacular. My daughter and I went to Over Easy for brunch and I really appreciate the waitlist option thru OpenTable! We easily joined the waitlist and our table was ready by the time we arrived. I ordered an espresso martini which was a bit weak in flavor - tasted more watered down and I didn't get any hazelnut flavor like described on the menu. We order a breakfast sandwich (bacon) and the Mile High omelette. The breakfast sandwich was smothered with the chipotle aioli which was a turn off for my daughter. She couldn't taste anything else other than that and had to deconstruct the sandwich to scrape the aioli off so she couldn't taste anything eat it. Had we known it came with so much we would have asked for the sandwich without the aioli. The omelette was okay. Not a great amount of flavor and same with the hash browns. The service, however, was great and our waitress was quick to serve us and checked on us regularly. It's a much larger location than expected with tons of indoor and outdoor seating plus a bar with multiple TVs. We'll definitely give it another try soon! read more

Sierra was a terrific server! Adorable decor. I loved the non-Alcoholic kombucha. The seasonal pumpkin spice latte was da bomb. The chicken on the chicken and waffles and the chicken fried steak had a delicious batter. The gravy on the chicken fried steak is something special. We got another helping because it was so good. So today we both have the sw skillet and it was excellent. My Husband's eggs were perfectly cooked over easy and mine were scrambled. Everything was yummy but the yummiest thing we ate was their strawberry cheesecake French toast which came perfectly cooked with yummy graham cracker bits and bites of cheesecake, fresh strawberries and light glaze. We went on a weekday morning with a larger group. We quickly got a table and were served beverages quickly too. My friend and I got ricotta pancakes and a vegetarian breakfast burrito. Both options were delicious. The burrito was large. I recommend the hash browns as your potato option and the red salsa for your salsa option. The pancakes were fluffy and so flavorful. This is a great dish to share as they were rather sweet. We got a pitcher of the brunch punch. It was a portion enough for three of us to have a few glasses. My friend and I were having an impromptu breakfast meetup and were looking for somewhere halfway between us. Over Easy was a good choice. We got a table right away and our waiter was really nice. He asked if we'd been there before and gave some recommendations, as well as enough time to really look over the menu. We both did the 2 Egg Breakfast and it came with a choice of a potato side, a bread side AND a choice of a meat side. I got the potato O'Brien which were mixed with peppers and onions with sourdough toast and bacon. My friend got the hash browns, the biscuit, and the bacon. The biscuit was a jalapeño cheddar and if you choose gravy to go with it, the side of gravy is $2 extra. Our waiter was nice enough to give us the heads up on that. The bacon was long and crispy with really good flavor. The portions were a really good size. If you need something to start your meal, they have some starters including a Pound of Bacon (reminds me of Ron Swanson a la Parks and Rec). The menu also has "Brunch'tails" like mimosas, cocktails, bloody Mary's, spiked coffees, seltzers, and kombuchas. They have a mimosa flights and you can get a pitcher of their Brunch Punch. This is a Diners, Drive-ins and Dives Spot but it's a very cute local franchise. It's bright, fun and not divey at all. It's a good go to option if you usually find yourself in the AZ heat waiting and sweating at places like Snooze and First Watch. read more

The location is easy to get to, it's bright, colorful, airy and clean. The hostess was friendly, great big smile. Our server, Emma, was on point! We had a party of 5 and she was patient, friendly, all smiles and attentive. Our food came out in a decent time and it was hot. No one complained about their food. I had the avocado bread and it was actually one of the best ones I've had. Yummy! The restroom was clean, the floor was a little moist and slippery, but they did have a sign that said 'wet floor'. Hey Yelpers!!! The wife and I were in PHX for a visit and decided to try this place for brunch. Very glad we did. It's usually a good sign when you have a bit of a wait. About 30 minutes for us this time. Not bad. They use a texting system so you can wait in your car if the weather is warm. Today was great, so no worries there. The place looks great. It's an open floor plan with a combo of regular and medium high top tables, as well as a nice sized patio with heaters and misters. It's brightly painted and lovely with fun music playing in the background and TVs playing live sports. Today was NCAA basketball. March Madness is coming!!! Anyway, Louis was our server today. He was very nice and helpful. He brought our drinks while he gave us time to look over the menu. The wife and daughter split the cinnamon roll french toast with sides of eggs and bacon. I decided to try the chicken fried steak. Somehow they were out. That's a pretty popular item to be out of on a Sunday. Disappointed, but I ordered the Cajun skillet. We also decided to try the waffle battered sausages and blueberry cornbread to start. Everything was delicious. I especially liked the waffle sausage. It was nice and fresh, and the batter reminded me of funnel cake. Those did come out a little late for some reason. We shared a carafe of the Brunch Punch. Altogether, Over Easy is a great spot for brunch. I did sing them for being out of a main item and for the order screen glitch that, having been open for a while, they should know to check or get fixed. Still, we would come back in a heartbeat. Earatovereasy (E) was an adventure for the three of us and we really hit the jackpot with this restaurant! Our party used the "wait in line" feature, which makes it quicker to be seated. E has a cheery atmosphere and the tables are set farther apart for more privacy. Booth seating, too. There's such a vast variety of menu items but I knew immediately that I wanted to have E's Minte Criso sandwich, which was filled with ham and Swiss cheese and grilled like a waffle, served with strawberry preserves and a choice of sides. Son had original eggs Benedict and WoW the grilled slab of ham was so flavorful, as was the hollandaise sauce, he chose hash browns and a side of biscuits and gravy. I'm not a fan of the sausage in a pasty gravy, but this was very tasty sprinkled with fresh dill on a homemade biscuit with a flavorful mild sausage in a pleasing sauce. Hub had the southwest skillet topped with eggs that had black beans and a bunch of other ingredients so many he could only eat half of his skillet saved the remainder for breakfast next morning. I highly recommend E. The restaurant has a bar if you care to eat alone and also it does sell alcohol. A freshly squeezed orange juice mimosa was very tempting. Our server gave us excellent service. This is my first time at this location. I might've been to the one in Scottsdale, but I can't remember. I guess I wasn't that excited about it. ‍ This place has a nice open design and modern look. My server was very attentive. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. It was very good, but slightly greasy. It's made in house as opposed to being frozen, which is rare. The gravy, was just okay. Fortunately, I got it on the side since I'm pretty picky about my gravy. I enjoyed the coffee, it was strong and tasty. My breakfast was a bit pricey at $17.95. What is the deal with rounding up to the nearest dollar? My bill was $23.52. I paid $40. $16.48 in change is what I expected, but got $16. I don't mean to be a tightwad, but why not round in the customers favor? I was a little annoyed by that.... Go ahead, call me an old fart. Absolutely fantastic! We had a great experience this morning. The service was so friendly and fast for a busy restaurant. We ordered Bloody Marys, which came out quick and had big pieces of tasty bacon. They let me design my own Benedict with green chili and pulled pork over avocado halves. It took a while to make, but it was freaking awesome. My wife enjoyed her omelet, too. The fresh fruit was ripe and sweet. Our first experience here was a home run.
