We walked over on our last day visiting. Service was great. She was personable and helpful. They misunderstood my husband. He wanted a cold drink but they gave him hot. The request was lost in translation. Food- coffee was good and my tea with honey was delicious. It took some time to get my tea and they let me know it would take a moment but we were done with our pastry and coffee before my tea made it out. Unfortunately I had to hurry to drink to get back. Very nice coffee spot in the Westwing area adjacent to the church. Friendly, welcoming staff. Nice selection of coffee ( Americano for me, generally ), as well as a good chai tea latte. Get in early if you want some pastry, they seem to sell out quickly. Seating is adequate, with a long table in the center, as well as some counter space by the window. We tend to take advantage of the cushy outdoor chair, which we love. Really good local coffee spot that is definitely worth checking out. read more

This coffee shop is located inside a local church. There is tons of super nice seating. Lots of students working on computers and open patio area. They have fun summer drink specials too. I didn't try any because I wanted an iced vanilla latte. My latte was honestly overly sweet. I find monin syrups pretty bitter. The espresso also seemed pretty bitter. Adding half and half helped a lot. The staff was also super nice. Worth a visit but not worth going out of the way for. read more

Went here for the first time with a friend yesterday and had the worst experience. I ordered two large lemon poppyseed matcha lattes. Both my friend and I tasted it and said it tasted horrible! My friend took one sip and said she was sorry but she was not going to drink it. I took a couple more sips and tried to give it a chance but I also could not drink any more. I went back and asked if I can trade my drinks for something different. The girl said she wanted to understand better and wanted to know what it was we weren't happy with. I told her the matcha didn't taste like matcha but just milk. She said because there was actually nothing wrong with the drinks she could add some sweetener in it or she can substitute it for a small version of something. I said sure let's do two small honey lattes. Meanwhile I went to use the restroom and when I came back my friend said they only made one small latte. This was a joke of customer service. I spent 19.64 on just two large lattes and it was a waste of my money. The vibes there were so off and not a friendly staff at all, not sure if the girl was offended that we didn't like the matcha, but it would have been nice to get what I paid for replaced with something different. Love having this gem tucked in the neighborhood. They have such a variety of good drinks and I usually try to taste all the seasonal drinks throughout the year. There has only been one drink I didn't like so far. My favorites are the iced grizzly bear latte, strawberry coconut matcha, hot honey lavender latte, and orange clove latte iced or hot! They have baked goods on certain days and the pumpkin crème muffin they have sometimes is fantastic. It's super cozy and cool in there with many seating options and a variety of different ages of people in. Everyone is always very nice and helpful! read more

On our way to the lake we stopped here for a surprise (to me) birthday coffee. I was so impressed and astounded as I absolutely love Peixoto coffee...which is what they serve. The west side needed more local coffee shops and finally we are getting some! Located inside a local church, this cute coffee shop is perfect for students and people meeting up to yap. I got a plain oat milk latte and my friend got a chai latte. My espresso was extremely smooth and delicious and the chai was perfectly spicy. The service was great and they were very kind. You may not want to come on a Sunday, however, because you will struggle to find parking due to church being in session. read more

What a lovely surprise! Just down the street from our condo we discovered this delicious little coffee shop. Food is limited to sweet offerings, but they looked yummy. We indulged in a few specialty lattes and an Americano. The strawberry mocha latte was fantastic- seriously I have been thinking about how good it was since we enjoyed it. Looking for good coffee in the North Phoenix area and stumbled upon this place. Ambiance is beautiful (clean lines and muted colors), menu is typical of any coffee shop, location (connected to a church, so convenient). I ordered a Cold Brew to get a sense of their coffee. The girl at the counter took quite a while to approach and take our order, and wasn't really giving off the "coffeehouse vibe". In fact, we ended up taking it to go because it didn't feel very inviting there. Cold Brew came up quick, as it should, but it tasted watered down, and acidic. Props for the exterior and interior design, but not interested in visiting again. read more

It's been quite a while since I had the chance today to stop by The Well Coffee . Today I found myself in the area and of course stopped by. It was quite busy inside and out with the weather being so nice as well as construction going on. I first thought about leaving because I thought it would be so loud with that all going on, but decided to go inside and Im so glad I did . I ordered a cold brew and a drip coffee.
