Where else to go but to a pub! We arrived at 6:40 in the evening and seated ourselves as is the custom. While many of the tables are hightops, we chose a regular table off to the side. First was an appetizer of Curried Chips along with NA Guinness to wash it down. The chips were like mashed potatoes in the center and crispy on the outside. Along with the authentic curry to dip them in, it was deliciousness on a plate. On to the main dishes. Companion ordered Bangers and Mash. Excellent tasting sausages served over mashed potatoes in traditional style. Companion loved it but was unable to finish it. For myself, I had my Fish and Chips that I was craving. 2 large pieces of cod perfectly fried in a beer batter coating. Served over a pile of perfect chips and accompanied by malt vinegar I was back in the U.K. Only problem was that it was served with a side of English peas instead of mushy peas like one would get overseas, but one can't be too choosy. Of course, we had to have dessert. There is always room for dessert! Companion ordered Toffee Pudding with Hot Custard sauce and I ordered the Bread Pudding. The toffee was chewy and sticky as it should be and the hot custard sauce added just the right touch. My bread pudding was in dense slices as is proper in the U.K.. I stole some of companions Hot Custard to put on it and it was wonderful. This was an excellent dinner which brought back memories of pubs in the U.K. The only thing missing off the menu was a Ploughman's Lunch, but not enough people would order it I think. Service and cleanliness were up to par. It's worth noting that on Sundays they have Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding. I can't wait! 5 stars

Again nothing to write home about. If you are looking for a good drink at a reasonable price. This is the place. We had five gin and tonics for $29 bucks. Not bad at all. Britney was again a great pleasure and a strong asset to the pub.

Zero answer when assaulted party asks "what should I have done when person you said would be told to leave me alone again gets in my face? " Get away from me got not response. Aggressive hand gestures didn't work either. I spent a great deal of money in a place where I just wanted to have a peaceful night. Apparently one is expected to tolerate being verbally harassed and should literally run away from abusive people here. I guess legal recourse only option since rational conversation not respected. Promise to tell abusive party to stay away not honored. And basic standards of respect not on the menu.

This place only caters to regulars. Left sitting waiting for drink for 10 minutes while bartender gossiped with regulars. They definitely got service first. People were playing poker. Never heard so much bickering, cussing and rude behavior from people before. A fight almost broke out between a blonde chic and a tall girl. Blonde girl was being very rude and kept making snide remarks and using very vulgar language. Blonde girl acted like she owned the place her and the biker dude she was with. I don't care for customers like that. Go out to unwind and have a drink or two not listen or witness a potential fight. If this is the type of customers I won't be back. I have gone once before and that time all I heard was people yelling from the poker tables at the bartender to bring them drinks. Very demanding customers. Thought I would give it another chance since the drinks are good and fair priced. read more

I'm going to start with this is a great bar cuz I loved it when I could go there. It's unethical and distasteful to show private messages and talk privately about specifics of something to happen that night at a bar. Not illegal with messages. Bars are supposed to remain private and what happens there stays there. It's just code I thought. It's a civil matter for defamation of character I would never do to anyone. Pointless goes no where. I'm just asking the owner and the bartender to leave what happened that night, the specifics private. It's poor business management to tell other patrons what happened that night about me. This is a great bar you have cheap drinks and great people and Nicole's amazing... People lie, fight, and over drink at bars. Alcohol can do that. Leave it alone please. I hate that night. The few times I have been here the older Hispanic lady is always rude to me. Seems like if u don't come here ALL THE TIME u are treated like poop. She took several drink orders that came after me and I know she saw me, she looked right at me, but because I'm not here on a regular basis I wasn't treated the same. Guess this "neighbors" bar is strictly for neighbors. I won't be back. read more

I went to this bar come to find out the people in this bar just want to start fights. I tried to play some pool and some scum bag wants to argue, yet the bar wants to kick me out. And kids are allowed, but it's not the best place to bring the family. The service is a little bit light in terms of getting around you again. After you get your first drink at the bar. Great smoking patio with heaters in winter and coolers in the summers. All NFL games shown Sunday morning and afternoon, Karaoke Sunday night. The only downsize is they don't serve food, but bartenders and management don't have a problem if you bring in from several nearby restaurants.
