Cool vibe as soon as you walk in, music playing open bar, open kitchen. I like the atmosphere. The hostess was very blah and most of the waiters looked mad. However the food was great! The spicy cauliflower was so freaking tasty! And both entrees were tasty, we both finished our plates clean. The pad tai portion size was a little small but as Americans we really don't need to stuff ourself. All in all it was very good and we will be back to try more!

Club sandwich was good. This place needs to work on the French fries. Irish French toast was on point. Sorry we missed the photos of our adult drinks. They were on point.

Every time I land in PHX, I intentionally carve out time to visit Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill--and it never disappoints. The service is consistently strong, and Celina behind the bar absolutely elevates the experience. Her grapefruit basil martini? Next-level. Perfectly balanced, bright, and dangerously easy to order twice. We also ordered the spicy fried chicken sliders, and they remain undefeated. Crispy, flavorful, just the right kick--always so damn good and always worth it. This spot has become a non-negotiable on my travel agenda. Highly recommend.

Out of all the variety of foods and drinks we tried for lunch we really found everything to be Delicious. It was a party of 8 and none of us had complaints. Definitely will be going back.

I came here because my friend recommended the salad. The girl who worked at the bar was so nice!!! She had black curly hair :) she had a great personality and made me feel seen because I came here by myself. The salad tasted very healthy and tasty.

For our last dinner in Glendale, we visited the Thirsty Lion. It was a pleasant surprise that they had a happy hour 7 days a week. I had the Hibiscus Vodka Breeze and Hubby had the Spicy Mango Margarita. Both made well. We shared the Grilled Steak Salad, Grilled Burger Sliders, California Roll, and Ahi Poke Stack. There was plenty of food to share and it tasted fantastic. Jake was our server and took good care of us. Very convenient location and good value for good quality food. They do advertise it as a scratch kitchen.

8 minutes before anyone came to post us a water! It's 100+degrees outside, coming to the table for water/ drink request should be immediate. It's not too busy, if it was the hostess could've brought us water. The Hibiscus tea is really good, little sweet while refreshing. The Baja fish tacos; a little bland & the salsa was very bland, but they were a light option for lunch. Ahi poke stack; rice was stale & not enough wasabi, the tuna was not as fresh as i would like. Smoked Turkey club: delicious, great size, the fries were under cooked.

Oh yes!!! This is a great spot!! The service is excellent, the food is great and the drinks are yummy!!! We highly recommend this place! We were here for a dodger game, parked early at the stadium and Uber here for before game!!! It worked out perfect!!

Good food , service is terrible. We waiting a long time after being sat for our server to even greet us. We had to remind the host that we were there and still waiting. It was during the day on a Sunday, it wasn't too busy there were a lot of other servers who passed our table but avoided eye contact.. Made from scratch kitchen, good quality. I will try again since the food was good

    Chicken & Mac Dinner

Do not order from here!! Way over priced food. Pictures on menu are very deceiving. I ordered the chicken & Mac dinner for delivery. Once received I open to find 2 chicken nuggets on top of some Mac & Cheese. This was a $24 dollar plate!! I will never order from here again or refer to anyone. Very disappointed I paid for an entree and feel like I received a kids meal!

Let me start by saying the two guys that were serving our table were great and I wish I could remember their names, that said the food was very disappointing because they advertising of the scratch kitchen. As a former restaurant owner that is not scratch. Two ppl at our table ordered orange chicken and both came out totally different. We also ordered another chicken dish which was very under seasoned with no taste. We sent that back and picked over the orange chicken just because we didn't have time to re-order it was pretty packed and the food had already taken kinda long to come. My daughter ordered Fish and chips which she said was good. Food 2/5 Location 5/5 Parking 5/5 Service 3/5 Atmosphere 3/5 Return Factor 0/5

I Loved It! This was my first trip to Thirsty Lion. For starters it is on the outskirts of Westgate, so plenty of parking is nearby. As you approach, the two-level outdoor patios stand out. Looks fun! We were here for brunch, so the place was not overly crowded. The dining area is spacious, modern and stylish. I found the brunch menu to be upscale and so much more than just pub-grub! If you're visiting for a drink, it's hard to imagine that you couldn't find exactly what you want in the very extensive drink menu. It's all there! They have a very large beer and wine menu, mixed drinks galore and many more spirits! For brunch, they had a nice virgin bar drink with Blood Orange and Ginger. The mixed drink menu is definitely adventurous! For brunch, I had the Corned Beef Hash. It had large chunks of Corned Beef, Onion, Red Pepper, Potato, Swiss Cheese and topped with a perfectly poached egg!. Yum! My wife had the Spanish Chilaquiles. She also enjoyed her meal very much! Our sever was very attentive and after our meal, used a handheld POS machine to allow for quick checkout without taking our card. Bottom line: The Service was Great, Restaurant was Upbeat and the Food was Delicious! I cant wait to return for dinner and a beer!

We made a reservation online ahead of time just in case there was a rush, and we were glad we did. The restaurant is conveniently located in the Park West Plaza area, surrounded by several other businesses, and there was plenty of parking available. Upon arrival, the hostess was warm, friendly, and welcoming. She checked us in promptly and escorted us to our table right away. Our server, Laura, was absolutely outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to enjoy providing great customer service. She answered all of our questions about the menu and drink options, kept our beverages refilled, and cleared our plates promptly without us ever having to ask. Laura truly helped make our dining experience exceptional. Although the restaurant was moderately busy due to the World Cup game, we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our food arrived. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. For our meal, we ordered: * Two Chicken Sandwiches with fries and ranch on the side * A Jammed Up Burger cooked well-done with extra Jammed Up toppings served on the side The food was excellent. The chicken sandwiches were flavorful, and the fries were perfectly prepared. The Jammed Up Burger was also delicious. Our only minor suggestion would be that the Jammed Up sauce could be blended a bit smoother, as it was somewhat chunky. However, the flavor was still fantastic. One of our favorite features is the Happy Hour, which is offered seven days a week. We understand it runs from approximately 2:30 or 3:00 PM until 5:30 PM and then returns again from 8:00 PM until closing. Happy Hour includes select appetizers and drinks, making it a great value. There was a small discrepancy regarding the rotating cocktail pricing. Our server mentioned it was $5 during Happy Hour, while the menu listed it at $7. We're not sure if the pricing recently changed or if there was simply a misunderstanding, but it may be worth clarifying for future guests. The atmosphere was one of the highlights of our visit. The décor is beautiful, modern, and inviting. There is ample outdoor seating, which would be especially enjoyable during cooler evenings. The patio area features televisions and games, creating a fun and relaxed environment for groups and families. We also noticed what appeared to be a setup for live music. While we're not certain which days performances take place, it would be wonderful to see live music offered regularly on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. Overall, the service, food, atmosphere, and overall vibe were excellent. Laura provided outstanding customer service, and every aspect of our visit made for a memorable afternoon. We will definitely be returning and look forward to our next visit.

Trying to book my mom's 50th birthday party was a nightmare. Emails went unanswered, phone calls weren't returned, and I ultimately had to drive there in person just to get the event booked. After finally securing the date, I waited for a follow-up regarding the details, only to discover that the general manager had been let go. I was given the new GM's name and phone number, but despite multiple calls and text messages, I was completely ghosted. This left me scrambling to find another venue with only one month before an important family celebration. No customer should be left hanging like that after booking an event. This was actually my second chance giving Lola's another opportunity because I genuinely like the vibe of the place. The first time, my group of only six people was still enjoying drinks when staff told us we had to leave at 11:00 p.m. because there wasn't enough business to justify staying open. That experience was disappointing, but I decided to give them another shot anyway. Sadly, after this experience, I won't be returning. Great atmosphere means very little when communication, professionalism, and customer service are consistently lacking.

Extremely rude as we were waiting for that table. The hostess never got her manger or asked them to move, instead apologized to us and asked us to wait another 10 minutes for a table that was paying their bill. Not the way to handle that situation. We finally sit down and then order a bottle of champagne. Our server comes back a while later and tells us we're not allowed to order bottles of champagne unless it's during brunch, it does not say that anywhere on the menu! So we order glasses of champagne instead. Our server leaves and comes back a while later with only one half glass of champagne and said that's all we have left and we won't charge you for it, but we actually were charged for a full glass of champagne on our bill. We ordered the home made chips and salsa that took forever to arrive at our table. When they did it was basically a tray of chips. The chips were good, but where's the salsa? It came with two small 2 oz condiment cups of salsa. Normally you have to ask for more chips, here you don't get any salsa! When our server came back we asked her if we could put in an order for their flatbread pizza. She was honest and said it would be a very long time before it would come out if we're trying to make the concert on time, so she didn't recommend it. We appreciated her honestly, but how long does a cheese flatbread really take? Unfortunately we will not be returning to Carousel before or after any events we attend at Westgate.

I remember I liked the sliders on the happy hour pricing, which was cheap back then. A wide variety of beer options and huge glasses the length of a half yard. A full yard would be difficult to drink and way too much beer to drink in one sitting; plus the beer would get warm & flat by the time you'd finish a whole yard of beer. Staff was nice at the Glendale location. Now, 18 years later happy hour is still good albeit different and yes more expensive but still good deal relative to normal price.
