Both were fantastic. I drink decaf coffee and it was very fresh and tasty. Service was great both times I stopped in. Seated quickly. Friendly staff. Just all around great service. I stayed at the Renaissance Hotel and First Watch is an enjoyable 8 minute walk from the hotel. I absolutely love this restaurant. I downloaded the app and see they have locations throughout the greater Phoenix area. We live a few hours away but anytime in this area I will make sure to eat here. read more

Went to spring training at Camelback Ranch and wanted a breakfast spot nearby--this place was super convenient and really good. I got The Traditional Breakfast with chicken maple sausage patty, scrambled eggs, and gluten-free bread. Everything was solid--the eggs were cooked well, the sausage had great flavor, and the potatoes were actually really good too. Loved that they had a gluten-free bread option. We also ordered the Million Dollar Bacon and it was so good. You can taste a little cayenne and black pepper, but it's not too much at all. It goes really well with the sweetness from the maple. Got here nice and early to beat the rush, it's also Father's Day so it was extra busy. I had a bogo entree coupon which is always nice. Visited Friday around 1:00 PM. The restaurant was not busy at all, yet the service was incredibly disappointing. Our server seemed uninterested in taking care of our table of two from the beginning. She moved around with very little urgency or engagement, and the most productive thing she did was drop off our coffee. While we were ordering our meals, she assumed we were finished and actually started walking away while I was still speaking. Our appetizer was brought out with our meals, and we were never even brought water. At that point, I got up from our table and walked over to the bar, where I found another server and asked if it would be possible to have someone else take over our table. Our original server was checking out another customer nearby, overheard the conversation, and suddenly rushed over to us. With a smile, she responded, "Yes, you can." Ironically, that was the most urgency she showed during our entire visit. The other server took over and brought us water. We had just come from the gym and weren't "dressed up." I genuinely hope our appearance had nothing to do with the level of service we received. We're great tippers, but more importantly, basic attentive service shouldn't depend on how someone is dressed or what a server assumes about them. I'll stick to the places I know where I'm treated well regardless of what I'm wearing. I won't be returning to this location. read more

Wow, I've never really been a fan of chilaquiles but I wanted to give it another shot and the chilaquiles here was delicious! The tortilla chips still had a nice crunch but there was still a perfect amount of drizzled sauce. The eggs were perfectly made -- still soft but not mushy. This dish was definitely nutrient-dense and helped me reach my fiber goals for the day! The staff were very helpful and made sure my meal was completely gluten-free, as I have a gluten sensitivity. It was quite packed in there but we were seated very quickly. The place is always buzzing and be prepared to wait at times. As for this location, the staff was very sociable, food came out fast and we were able to get back on our way a quicker than we expected. Our waitress was very sweet and very accommodating. Apologize for the wait took our drink orders asked if we had any questions about anything since it was our first time being there she was very helpful. We went ahead and placed our drink orders receive those pretty quickly, went ahead and placed our food order. Everything came out so pretty great presentation and everything was absolutely delicious in house made watermelon drink was so good. We came to First Watch for a late breakfast before walking over to the State Farm stadium for the 49ers @ Cardinals game on Sunday December 17th. They were on a long wait, for sure it's worth it to be on the waiting list ahead of time, I believe which you can do online. We opted to sit at the bar too once a couple left to avoid the wait. Totally understandable why they're on a wait, it's not a huge huge place, and only open until 2 pm I believe. We got a Bloody Mary and a mimosa and ordered our food. It's impossible to not be busy at this place as there's never an empty table or seat at the bar top. I ordered the classic potato dish that is on their sign outside, Sunny Soeul Hash. It has potatoes, kimchi, meat, I got 2 Sunny side up eggs on it. Next time I go, I'd 100% get the eggs Benedict. Highly recommend. read more

First disappointing visit to a First Watch. We have been to 3 in the greater Phoenix area and 3 in the Nashville area. This was the loudest/noisiest of any visit. Diners speak louder to one another just to get over the music, so turn down the music when you have a full house. Service was not attentive and seemed distracted.
