I took my cousin with celiacs disease to brunch at Biscuits Cafe because it advertised a gluten free menu. We will definitely return the next time we're in the area. ALL of the food was delicious! The server/bartender was by far the best employee we interacted with. He went out of his way to ensure my cousins meal was safe and delicious. I have never eaten here before, so I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food that was served. We made reservations the morning of for my nephew's graduation, and it was delicious! We are from out of town and the reviews for this place were high, so we tried it out. The atmosphere is very chill and the waitstaff is very friendly. We waited only a couple minutes before they got our drinks. 10 minutes later, we ordered and had our food within 10-15 minutes. Our waiter was very welcoming and very accomidating. There were 3 of us and we ordered the original cinnamon roll for appetizer to share and then BEAST Benedict', the Original Breakfast and the double Smash burger. Confession: I like this place so much that I was able to convince my coworkers to come with me twice in 3 weeks! We have agreed to add this place as our monthly lunch eat-out rotation! Service could just be a bit faster, but of course understandably I went during the lunch rush both times, so the dining room is full. Overall, lovely experience and we now know to order the drink and food at the same time. The menu has ample options for sweet or savory. I am on a strict diet, so I stick with something that would allow me to control my portion size with a good amount of protein source. Both times I ordered their breakfast sandwich - original and chicken apple sausage. I was able to split both meals in half and had a second meal out of them. The brioche bun was so fluffy; the fried egg was not greasy, and the hash browns were crispy and well seasoned! I actually like it more than the roasted potatoes! The atmosphere is very causal, but not causal enough for me to not want to go back to work loll. I appreciate the huge booths they have and the seat is comfortable. Last month I checked out Biscuits Café with a friend and it turned out to be a really fun brunch spot. There was no flavor in seasoning the hashbrowns that came with the meal, and they tasted like water. We were not offered refills. We asked for our check to leave, but they did not provide it. They came with a handheld device and verbally told us what our bills were, and we were not permitted to review a receipt before paying. Our trip to this Biscuits Cafe was originally shaping up to receive many more stars than I'm giving it. We had never been to this Biscuits Cafe location before, but found the other locations we patronized to be kind of inconsistent with both food and service. However, arrived around 9 am last Sunday and were promptly seated. Our server took our order, which consisted of the country omelet and an avocado benedict, but after this, it all fell apart. A little league team arrived about ten minutes prior to getting our food and completely infiltrated our section of the restaurant, which was originally occupied by us and one other group (who promptly paid and left as the team got settled). If you have never had the distinct displeasure of hearing a little league team occupy a breakfast eatery, I will share that it was noisy and chaotic. It would have been fantastic if we were offered to move to another table in another section of the restaurant, but instead, we were surrounded with pre-teen boys and their phones on high volume watching videos. Our food finally came out around the time my Apple Watch gave me a loud noise exposure warning. My hash browns were cold and my mother's omelet was thrown together and missing some ingredients. There was no one to raise these concerns to, as our server and all others were busy serving the children and could not be bothered by our table at that point. When we tried to express our frustration to both our server and the manager, we were brushed off by one and downright dismissed by the other. Just to start it off, This was AMAZING. Even though it was a 20 min wait we got a free drink while we were waiting. But when we sat down we were immediately fascinated by the menu!
