There's a genuine, laid-back energy here that you just can't fake, and it makes every visit feel like you're hanging out with friends rather than just grabbing a beer. A huge part of that comes from the people. Tiffany, the owner, has clearly built something special here--there's intention behind everything, and it shows. Deidra behind the bar is always attentive, on top of it, and great to talk to--she makes you feel taken care of without ever being over the top. And then there's Kyle...absolute character in the best way. The kind of bartender that brings personality to the place and makes every visit a little more memorable. The beer lineup is outstanding. Their in-house brews are dialed in, and if you know craft beer, you'll appreciate seeing things like Drekker sours on the guest tap list--hard to find and always a hit. And their Trick of the Light IPA from Throne? Absolute standout--crisp, balanced, and dangerously easy to keep going back for another. The food deserves just as much attention. The burgers are legit--juicy, flavorful, and cooked right every time. The sliders are perfect if you want to mix and match or just not commit to one thing, and the onion rings are next level--crispy, golden, and honestly some of the best you'll find anywhere. What really sets this place apart, though, is how unique it is to the area. It's not just another brewery--it's a true community spot. Places like this are rare, and they only stick around if people show up and support them. If you appreciate great beer, great food, and even better people, this is one of those spots you want to keep coming back to.

But back to 2025. Dad and I are at Glendale to see the Glitters and wanted to visit the Haus like we have in prior years with mom. We got the Jaeger Schnitzel (our all time favorite of pork with a wonderful demi mushroom sauce), and wanted to try the Schweitzer Schnitzel as well, (like a Corden Bleu but with pork). So satisfying and delicious, it was the most satisfying as well. If you're in Glendale and want to come, book a reservation or be ready to wait a bit as a walk in because it's hopping!! We also enjoyed the live accordion music that got the Christmas and joyful drinking vibes!

Came here on a Sunday and they have Sunday special all day, 25% off all appetizers. I ended up ordering a dark beer because they were out of IPA. It was good but would've liked an IPA. I ordered the big Smokey beef bratwurst, it was really good. Probably the best I've tasted. It was juicy and had a great smokey flavor and wasn't salty. It came with German potato's and sauerkraut, best sauerkraut I've tasted. My BF ordered the traditional beef roulade, it comes with a side of red cabbage and spaetzle. He said he tasted better elsewhere for what it cost.

We stopped on our way to check this spot out since we didn't know when we'd be in the area again. You won't find food at Cactus Taproom so if you're looking for a glass of whine, beer or a little of both this may be your spot. What caught my eye was they offer flights. I love flights because you get to try a little of quite a few to see what you like or don't. When we pulled into the lot I was surprised at how small it is. There is a bar of course, a handful of high top tables and a small patio. The place was packed. We somehow managed to snag the last available table. It was full of definite locals as many seemed familiar with each other. There was one man running the bar and though very busy he was friendly, patient and no one seemed to be having to wait long for drinks. The place was clean. I thought it was cool that they offered many fridges of different beers etc to purchase and take home or of course drink while there. If you read my reviews I love sour beers and this is part of why we came here. I tried both they had on tap and unfortunately wasn't a fan of either. We will have to come back and maybe try a few in the fridge section. I didn't want to try anything else and risk mixing wine etc. good local spot of just wanted to have a few drinks alone or with friends.

This place is absolutely massive in size, had an insane amount of seating, and was absolutely packed for a Tuesday afternoon. I entered alone and was seated right away. The waitress I had was super friendly, attentive, and took care of me at the speed of light. I ended up ordering the "Everything-Crusted" Ahi Tuna burger with a side of French fries, which is actually something I've never had before. The food came out super quick and I was very surprised with how much I enjoyed it. The fish had so much flavour and the crusty edges tasted very, very good. The French fries were pretty standard "burger and fries" style fries, but were hot and tasted very good when dipped in some ketchup. Overall, Yard House definitely exceeded my expectations and I'll absolutely be checking out the LA location in DTLA very soon to show my wife. The food was good, the place looked cool, and the service was great as well. I can definitely see this being a great place for food before or after a game!
