Today is Memorial Day.Unable to reach anybody via the website phone number. We will go, but with no assurance that they are even open. They had an unknown phone issue but got it fixed. Service by owner was efficient and excellent. Ordered (and devoured) a superior Reuben Sandwich, with crispy fries and a good red ale from a visiting brewery. This is the best place for trivia on Wednesday's!! The host goes thru the questions a bit quicker than other locations, so you don't have such a late night and that is something we really appreciate! The staff is amazing, and even when things get crazy they try their hardest to get to each table as they're able to. The food is spectacular and you really can't go wrong with any of Throne's sandwiches or appetizers. My husband and I always get the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it is SO GOOD!!!! The chicken is so juicy inside with a crispy fried crust. The hot sauce is so dang tasty, and their fries are seriously the best beer battered fries I've ever had. They now have 28 taps with some really awesome brews that you just don't see everywhere...what a great change of pace from other establishments that just carry the same old stuff! This is a solid bar and we really had a great time. Throne Brewing has been on my list of spots to check out as I'd heard they had a few sour beers on tap. That's always a good sign. Upon driving up we almost didn't go in because the lot looked dang near dead and boring. Don't let that fool you. I'm so glad we went in. The bar itself is quite larger than it looks from the outside. There are pinball machines, lots of table seating, bar seating and yes even a throne. There weren't many inside, but as time went on it got pretty busy. We were pleased to see a good size food menu and while we saw y and talked or a few people one women said she comes specifically for the Reuben and cheese curds. Not beer but the food. We'd already eaten so we decided we'll come back again to have some food. Our bartender was great. She was friendly and when I told her I loved sours she recommended the Drekker SMOL blue razz sour and so I went with that. She did also bring me a sample of the other on tap, but I knew instantly she was right and the Drekker she recommended was so much better. The only bummer is everything else we ordered was on happy hour except my sours. That did not deter me because it was delicious ha ha. We will definitely be back. Stopped by Throne Brewing on a quiet Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised by the overall vibe. The place wasn't busy--maybe six or seven others--so it had a pretty relaxed, laid-back feel. When I first walked in, I did catch a strong whiff of beer--not the fresh pour kind, but more of a dried-on-the-floor scent that lingered. Not a dealbreaker, just something I noticed. It's a seat-yourself setup, and within a minute of sitting down, I was greeted by friendly staff who brought menus and water right away. I ordered the raspberry wheat ale, a plate of sliders, and a side of Brussels sprouts. The raspberry ale was crisp and fruity without being too sweet--honestly, it paired perfectly with the savory sliders. Speaking of which, the sliders were fantastic. The pretzel buns were perfectly executed: crunchy on the outside, soft and airy inside. The meat was seasoned just right and cooked well, and the cheese added a nice touch without overpowering the flavor. A little ketchup brought it all together for me. I could easily come back just to try more burgers off the menu. The Brussels sprouts were a bit underwhelming--not much flavor, and slightly undercooked in my opinion--but they didn't take away from the experience overall. Hidden gem tucked away in a little business center. Plenty of parking in front and behind the brewery. Stopped in here after a spring training game, only about 20min from Camelback Ranch. Very chill vibe, not a lot of people on Sunday afternoon. 5 pinball machines in the back, and some TVs around the brewery. I came hungry and got the "Kraut" brat with house chips and house beer cheese. It was insanely delicious. I would've easily paid more for just a dog at the ballgame, but I got my food and beers for less than $25. Next time I visit I'm going to try the "Chicago Style" brat. A great addition to the west valley! Tucked into a corner of a non-descript strip of offices, we were not expecting what we experienced at Throne! Good food, good house-made brew, cool atmosphere complete with vintage games, and laid back vibes. We kept it simple food wise, and opted for burgers. These were NOT just simple burgers - they were among the best we've had! Tasty, juicy, well cooked. The pretzel buns were off the charts and worth every carb! Every Tuesday night since July 2023, my group of nine senior professional women have been going to Throne Brewing on 67th Ave and Bell Road to socialize, have dinner and play bingo. Over this period of time our group has been between 4-9 in size. We have looked forward to these nights and have always felt safe and welcome until this past Tuesday, March 25th! We called ahead to reserve for a party of 11 at 6pm. We had two out of state family members joining us. Upon arriving we were surprised and pleased that there were pitchers of water and ice tea on the table. Usually, we have a very difficult time getting refills for these both and have had to wave for our servers attention every time we go there. We've let this slide because they are always busy. More than once, one of us had to return food because the hamburger was raw and cold or something was burnt. There were even times when one of us got up and got our own ice at the bar or to-go containers from the server station. This was because our server never came to check on us and again, we saw that they were busy so we thought we were helping them out. One night our server actually said we better tip him good. We still let all of this slide because this was our night to go out and socialize and enjoy each other's company. When we celebrated a birthday by bringing in a cake; we always gave a slice to our server. This past Tuesday night, our server, Kyle, approached our table after we were there for maybe 5 minutes and proceeded to reprimand us in an extremely loud rant stating that our behavior is unacceptable and that no one wanted to wait on us and he, Kyle, was fed up with us getting up and getting our own things, sick and tired of us waving for attention and returning food! Kyle said that if we were to continue this we should find somewhere else to go. We were told that his manager approved him talking to us about this. He was yelling so loudly that half of the restaurant could hear him! This went on for some time and then he repeated himself to one end of the table! All of us were in shock over this outburst.... So much so that we were speechless, angry, dumbfounded and embarrassed. We all wanted to walk out! We had two guests and didn't want to ruin their night so we stayed. That was a mistake! Some of us were so upset that we did not order any food or drinks. It was horrid!! If this is the type of behavior condoned by management then I'd say this business has a huge problem! Needless to say I will NEVER GO TO THRONE BREWING AGAIN! I recommend that no one goes there! read more

The beer was excellent and the food was well presented and tasty. Nice to see a place still honoring Happy Hour and having a few darker beers on tap, but was told they change them out a lot so no sense in listing them here or you might be disappointed, but they have flights so you can sample. Their Chicago style sausage made by local company was not only presented perfectly with all the fixings but the pretzel bun was perfect for it. My friend had the Spicy Gorgonzola burger which was another work of art and also with the pretzel bun that raised it to the next level. The home made chips were a tasty and crispy accompaniment and perfect for dipping in the unique beer condiment. Was interested in possibly playing a game since they had a wide assortment, but all the parts were coming out of them and it looked like there would be little chance of finding all the pieces. What really diminished the experience was a particularly loud and foul-mouthed drunken woman sitting at the bar who lowered the entire experience from a congenial Cheers-like venue to a low-class dive--and not a dive in a fun nostalgic way. I trust that's not a sample of their usual clientele and I hope the help can work on some strategies for reining someone like that in so the dining experience isn't ruined for others. read more

I was at Throne on Tuesday March 25, 2025. I was meeting 11 other ladies. I made 12. We've been there often over the last two years. We are all educated professionals and we're in shock to be treated like the way we were.What happened that night was inexcusable,embarrassing, humiliating & thoroughly inappropriate and uncalled for. The waiter proceeded to come to our table and literally yelled at us treating us like 6 yr olds.( actually a 6 yr old shouldn't even be spoken to like that .. Abusively)We were accused of many things and told to leave and not come back. He said we can't get up from our seats, we can't send food back.( Which only happened 2x due to a raw burger or burnt bacon. And remember we've been going there for 2 years. So I had passed this place a few times back when it was Dubina. I had yet to stop in though. Running some errands in the area we decided to swing by and check it out! A small unsuspecting corner of a parking lot, but overly impressive. They have a multitude of high tops available as well as standard tables and tables with a booth on one half. There is a square bar towards the back that is available as well. The best part of this place was all the alcohol was local! They have their own beer on tap as well as some guest taps. They also have local spirits that are featured as well. The menu was bar food, but I enjoyed it! We had the sampler with mozzarella sticks, butterfly shrimp, and the pretzel. Can't complain about anything there at all. I also had the Gorgonzola Burger but subbed with grilled chicken. Be warned the peppers were pretty spicy! Wifey had the dry rubbed wings. I use to live on Roosevelt but I never visited the location downtown. I always thought about going though, so I was quite surprised to find out they had a location near my new home in the North Mountain area. And I will say, I was kicking myself about not visiting this place sooner! Everything was wonderful, from the service to food! The wings were perfectly crispy and the golden bbq was one of the best Carolina sauces I've had (and I am a self proclaimed wing connoisseur, lol). My boyfriend ordered a Chicago style brat and the bun was a fluffy pretzel bread that tasted house made! We also had the garlic bites and you could tell they were made fresh as well. The only slight downside was there weren't many beers that were my style, but the few that were were pretty great. My fave was the maple molasses ale and the hefe. We will definitely be returning.
