1 star - Disappointing service killed what could have been a great visit My husband and I were excited to try this spot since we love microbrews and had heard good things. We walked in for the first time, grabbed a table in the back near the dart boards (no signs saying the area was off-limits or that service worked differently there), and waited to order. Unfortunately, the bartender completely ignored us. We watched as he walked backward to avoid eye contact, served two or three other customers who came in after us, and never once acknowledged our table or came over. There were no signs explaining any unusual service rules--like needing to order at the pickup window or a specific bar section--so we had no idea what was expected. No greeting, no "be right with you," nothing. After waiting far too long with no help, we just left. It's a shame because the place looked fun and the beer selection seemed solid from what we could see, but the lack of basic hospitality made it a total bust. Suggestion to the owners: Add clear signage about seating/service areas (like many food trucks do successfully), and train staff to greet and check on all patrons, especially newcomers. A simple hello goes a long way toward keeping customers instead of losing them at the door. We won't be back unless things change, but I hope they do--this could be a great local spot. read more

We needed a spot to watch the Suns Game 2 and we found ourselves way out in Deer Valley. This little brewery was EXACTLY what we needed. We found a solid stout and commenced to Cheering on the suns. The beer was delicious (okay- stout) the nutty flavors came out in full force! We were impressed with this little spot, but we wished there was food. Yes we could have it delivered...but eh. Usually this brewer is fantastic. I live on the east side. I was driving back into town and stopped off for a few minutes to get out of the car. Got a flight. Hated the beers. I actually had to stop on my side of town just to get rid of the experience. Very strange too since these guys make great stuff. Just the first time I've had it o site. The menu of beers on this afternoon was heavy on the IPA selection and niche beers. I think I tried a lager and it seemed fine. The place has a good view of the airport landing strip and hot popped popcorn which needed some salt. Very bright and sunny or cloudy, which is great and easy order and closeout at counter. Since my mom lives in north west Peoria and my husbands second job has been out of business due to the coronavirus/quarantine/stay at home order. Traveled to Arizona to get blitzed at the Legal Dispensary. Stopped into this awesome little find off Deer Valley road. Was greeted by a very friendly bartender named James. Excellent knowledge of thr intricate brewing process and the delicate relationship between ingredients and palate. Enjoyed the DVT Porter and Hoptime. Great place to unwind after a day of blazing and gummy popping . I'll be back for sure. read more

Ambiance is very different here for a brewery, very bright and has more of a casual restaurant feel and they do not serve food in-house. They seem to have a Mexican food stand outside and the brewery normally closes at 9 pm. I'm not much of a beer drinker but I must say that their IPA Tap that AZ Hazy was very easy to drink, meaning it was delicious. read more

They would've got 5 stars if it weren't for the service. Went here last night and our bartender just seemed bothered by us and they were not busy so I'm not sure why. They only have beer, no food or cocktails. I don't like beer but they did allow me to sample a couple and I found one I liked which was awesome because I normally only have cider. I have been to many breweries and tried many beers. No other place is this consistent with the amount of beers they pump out with the amazing quality that comes along side a Simple Machine Beer. So many unique fun flavors ALL THE TIME. I do not know how they do it. I know it can not be simple. But man are they good. Seriously quality beer. And not only that but such a great atmosphere. We come here almost every Friday. Its family friendly so we can bring our son, even our dog if we wanted. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a food truck there almost every day of the week. And if there is no food truck you are more than welcome to bring in your own food. We have told everyone we can out this place. We just cant seem to get enough. We leave happy every time. The new to the neighborhood brewery has their Grand Opening Saturday, January 11. Was in the neighborhood and saw they were open. I have watched this little gem being built for a year and waited with baited breath for the opening. The feel is very chill atmosphere, ample seating at the bar as well as table seating. So, last night was the soft opening we have all been waiting for. Been excited for this place to open since we contributed to the kickstarter. Finally, some breweries are opening up in North Phoenix!! They only had 2 collaboration beers and then were pouring other local breweries beers. Tried the Collab with Borderlands and it was tasty, so looking forward to when we get to taste their own line up! Place looked great - big, long bar and lots of tables scattered around, with roll up garage doors that allow you to look into the back and the tanks!! The vibe was relaxed and for a soft opening seemed to run smoothly. The grand opening is in December and the kickstarter party is in January. I am ready to claim my stool and will be back many times! Their Simple Fellas is one of my favorite IPAs. My visit to their taproom was very enjoyable. It's a nice open space with plenty of natural light. I sat at the bar and the service was very good. My husband and I went to your one Saturday afternoon to buy a growler of beer for a friend. We read about it in in AZ Central article about the first black Brewer in Arizona. His beer is amazing and my husband enjoyed a couple of taste of other good beers as well. We took home a growler of a chocolate mint Porter and it was well received. If you want to eat you can go next-door to the Mexican restaurant or you could have Uber eats deliver. They do not have any food menu. They do have an extensive beer on tap collection and you can take home beer a variety of ways. The entire place is super clean, hand sanitizer everywhere and QR code for the menu. I recommend stopping by for a couple of beers and a nice afternoon. read more

The only thing I might suggest is that there be snacks (popcorn, peanuts, etc.). However, there was a brick oven pizza truck that showed up which was really cool. This place has been on my list for a while. Finally dropped in. Very good line up of varying brews. Everything light to dark, hoppy to fruity. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Food truck on Thursday and thru the weekend, I believe. The BBQ truck was very good. They also have an Asian fusion vendor and pizza offering on other days. There are other food sources close by. Establishment was clean w/ proper COVID 19 rules in place. Ample parking in lot. read more
