I go here about every 2 months usually on a Friday after work. I bring my Dog and we sit outside. Directly across the street from main entrance to Deer Valley Airport. The Beer is great and the Staff are always friendly. I drink Hazy but, they have a lot of other selections. Food truck has Tacos or Pizza. Great place to unwind and sit outside w/a tasty brew. read more

Happy 5th Anniversary! I popped in to enjoy a quick beer...not having visited I a couple years. So glad I did. Nicole, one of the brewers is super friendly. I enjoyed one of their newest porters, Sweet Night. Pairs perfectly with a cool, overcast day. I wish I were able to attend the party tonight. The stage is set and it looks like it will be a great vibe! read more

Solid brewery! We loved a lot, the King Cake was a solid blonde, the Optimus Lime was a solid sour, and the others we had were Easy Kiwi Hazy IPA and Dulces sueños was a (sweet) porter. Our group each found what they liked and there was complimentary popcorn. read more

1 star - Disappointing service killed what could have been a great visit My husband and I were excited to try this spot since we love microbrews and had heard good things. We walked in for the first time, grabbed a table in the back near the dart boards (no signs saying the area was off-limits or that service worked differently there), and waited to order. Unfortunately, the bartender completely ignored us. We watched as he walked backward to avoid eye contact, served two or three other customers who came in after us, and never once acknowledged our table or came over. There were no signs explaining any unusual service rules--like needing to order at the pickup window or a specific bar section--so we had no idea what was expected. No greeting, no "be right with you," nothing. After waiting far too long with no help, we just left. It's a shame because the place looked fun and the beer selection seemed solid from what we could see, but the lack of basic hospitality made it a total bust. Suggestion to the owners: Add clear signage about seating/service areas (like many food trucks do successfully), and train staff to greet and check on all patrons, especially newcomers. A simple hello goes a long way toward keeping customers instead of losing them at the door. We won't be back unless things change, but I hope they do--this could be a great local spot. read more

Fantastic beers, lots of choices and great service. Perfect beer house definitely check it out.

We needed a spot to watch the Suns Game 2 and we found ourselves way out in Deer Valley. This little brewery was EXACTLY what we needed. We found a solid stout and commenced to Cheering on the suns. The beer was delicious (okay- stout) the nutty flavors came out in full force! We were impressed with this little spot, but we wished there was food. Yes we could have it delivered...but eh. We are judging based on this amazing ale you put down my gullet. Thank you for delicious beers. read more

If you haven't been, you must go! They brew 17 of there own and have a guest tap, currently featuring an OHSO beer. These guys pride themselves on understanding the science of beer and ensuring that they are brewing consistently from batch to batch. I recently had the Nitro ROC2 Coffee Blonde, it was awesome! I need to go back for a flight though to try more of their brews. read more

The menu of beers on this afternoon was heavy on the IPA selection and niche beers. I think I tried a lager and it seemed fine. The place has a good view of the airport landing strip and hot popped popcorn which needed some salt. Very bright and sunny or cloudy, which is great and easy order and closeout at counter. Will return for Porter season. read more

Nice place to grab a drink with friends. Great food trucks are available at times. You can also bring your own food to enjoy with your drinks. The beer brewed at this brewery is really good. I would definitely recommend the Kiwi, Belgian Quad. Everyone is very nice and welcoming. You will see the owners and staff engaging with customers and building relationships. It was a very nice experience! Totally coming back!! read more

Hidden gem located across the street from the Deer Valley airport! Came on a Father's Day afternoon with my wife and had a yummy and filling stout! Usually this brewer is fantastic. I live on the east side. I was driving back into town and stopped off for a few minutes to get out of the car. Got a flight. Hated the beers. I actually had to stop on my side of town just to get rid of the experience. Very strange too since these guys make great stuff. Just the first time I've had it o site. I'll try them again down the road. read more

Simple Machine is a good brewery. Great staff, comfortable place. But damn it's way to bright in there. My wife works in the surgical field and cracked jokes that she could work in there. Our whole group griped about how lit it was. It's a bar, not a grow house, please dim the lights a bit. read more

Since my mom lives in north west Peoria and my husbands second job has been out of business due to the coronavirus/quarantine/stay at home order. We have been getting a lot of time to drop by this brewery as well as front Pourch. I am beyond thankful for breweries like these two. They are so friendly compared to our local ones we have been to where all we have been getting elsewhere is attitude. Being kind shouldn't take a lot of effort. The simple sour is my favorite beer here. I can't remember what his favorite is but we have got to try them all almost. read more

Always happy with the beers and service here! The atmosphere could be chill football, a band, game night, or grabbing a bite from a vendor while enjoying the view of planes coming and going from Deer Valley Airport. But what really got me was when I learned that the bartender keeps a squirt bottle by the taps to rinse any overflow from the outside of the glass if it's a particularly sticky brew. The details, you guys! Sheer perfection! read more

Traveled to Arizona to get blitzed at the Legal Dispensary. Stopped into this awesome little find off Deer Valley road. Was greeted by a very friendly bartender named James. Excellent knowledge of thr intricate brewing process and the delicate relationship between ingredients and palate. Enjoyed the DVT Porter and Hoptime. Great place to unwind after a day of blazing and gummy popping . I'll be back for sure. read more

Great spot for local brews and to watch airplanes fly over Deer Valley airport. Will visit again.

Ambiance is very different here for a brewery, very bright and has more of a casual restaurant feel and they do not serve food in-house. They seem to have a Mexican food stand outside and the brewery normally closes at 9 pm. I'm not much of a beer drinker but I must say that their IPA Tap that AZ Hazy was very easy to drink, meaning it was delicious. read more

(Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man) Well people told me, when I was thirsty Come sit inside please, and have a seat And listen closely to what I say And if you try this it'll help you quench your thirst some sunny day Oh, take your time, don't drink too fast Craft brews will come and they will pass You'll find a flavor and you'll find love And don't forget, man, there is plenty up above At the Simple......Machine Brew Oh, try something you love and understand At the Simple......Machine Brew Oh, won't you do this for me, man, if you can So happy this place finally opened! My office is next door and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or bad! Needless to say, Simple Machine finally has their own batch of brews and I was pretty excited to get on it. Happy Hour prices is a must here for only $5 a pop, that's a steal! They do have flights, but I like to really let my brew simmer onto my palates to get the taste. They don't serve food, but they do have a mix nuts and Chex mix station. Occasionally, they will have a food truck stationed outside. The night I came they had the Fajita Freaks food truck. Local collaboration! I love it! For entertainment, they do have board games to the sides and also several television sets. I gather they can play some sports games if it's available. Not sure about PPV or Sunday Ticket that require purchasing, but hopefully some day! - Enjoy! read more

They would've got 5 stars if it weren't for the service. Went here last night and our bartender just seemed bothered by us and they were not busy so I'm not sure why. They only have beer, no food or cocktails. I don't like beer but they did allow me to sample a couple and I found one I liked which was awesome because I normally only have cider. This place is easy to find and a very straightforward concept. They also have very unique flavors which I found cool, for example they had a cucumber one and and lime one. read more

I have been to many breweries and tried many beers. No other place is this consistent with the amount of beers they pump out with the amazing quality that comes along side a Simple Machine Beer. So many unique fun flavors ALL THE TIME. I do not know how they do it. I know it can not be simple. But man are they good. Seriously quality beer. And not only that but such a great atmosphere. We come here almost every Friday. Its family friendly so we can bring our son, even our dog if we wanted. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a food truck there almost every day of the week. And if there is no food truck you are more than welcome to bring in your own food. We have told everyone we can out this place. We just cant seem to get enough. We leave happy every time. Follow their social media to see what new flavored beers they are releasing that week, and what food trucks, or activities they are doing that week as well! See you Friday! read more

This place is relatively new and will most likely become one of my favorite places. I was wondering if they plan on getting food or outsourcing for foodd. If not do they allow foood from outside sources. I got the FestBier and got really sick that night, and kind of think it was due to the beer. But other than that it is soo cool. I actually love this place now that I came back, but the Sedona beer made me sick. So don't trust any beer from Sedona. Get your beer here folks!!! read more

The new to the neighborhood brewery has their Grand Opening Saturday, January 11. Was in the neighborhood and saw they were open. I have watched this little gem being built for a year and waited with baited breath for the opening. The feel is very chill atmosphere, ample seating at the bar as well as table seating. The Piccadilly Porter on Nitro is very good. Ended up having the Throne COLLAB B. D. S.M. Belgian Strong Dark Ale. YUMMY. Come out Saturday, January 11 and support this new up and coming local brewery. read more

So, last night was the soft opening we have all been waiting for. Been excited for this place to open since we contributed to the kickstarter. Finally, some breweries are opening up in North Phoenix!! They only had 2 collaboration beers and then were pouring other local breweries beers. Tried the Collab with Borderlands and it was tasty, so looking forward to when we get to taste their own line up! Place looked great - big, long bar and lots of tables scattered around, with roll up garage doors that allow you to look into the back and the tanks!! The vibe was relaxed and for a soft opening seemed to run smoothly. The grand opening is in December and the kickstarter party is in January. I am ready to claim my stool and will be back many times! (it helps that we have a warehouse just down the block - dangerous! ha) read more

I discovered this brewery thanks to Pub Pass. I hadn't ever been and the year is running out for my penny beers! I ordered a Mexican amber which was pretty tasty. We were only in the market for one drink on this occasion but I will definitely be back again in the future! read more

Great beer! Great live music! Great food truck!! Great service!! Just need a date next time!! Lol

Quite a brewery! They don't serve food by like so many brew pubs they have gourmet food trucks which I tend to enjoy. This last Sunday was my second time here but I've enjoyed several of there beers. Their Blonde is exceptionally good. The place was opened up due to a band playing in the back room and it was packed! Great catered food, good music and excellent beer! read more

There are a lot of craft breweries out there these days. Some are good but others are really mediocre and just trying to capitalize on the trend. Simple Machine makes very good beer. Their Simple Fellas is one of my favorite IPAs. My visit to their taproom was very enjoyable. It's a nice open space with plenty of natural light. I sat at the bar and the service was very good. It was nice to grab a mixed four pack to go after I enjoyed my beer from the tap at the bar. read more

My husband and I went to your one Saturday afternoon to buy a growler of beer for a friend. We read about it in in AZ Central article about the first black Brewer in Arizona. His beer is amazing and my husband enjoyed a couple of taste of other good beers as well. We took home a growler of a chocolate mint Porter and it was well received. If you want to eat you can go next-door to the Mexican restaurant or you could have Uber eats deliver. They do not have any food menu. They do have an extensive beer on tap collection and you can take home beer a variety of ways. The entire place is super clean, hand sanitizer everywhere and QR code for the menu. I recommend stopping by for a couple of beers and a nice afternoon. read more

Fantastic bartenders for service and suggestions, in comparing to favorite/personal tastes. Always right on. They know their beers

This place is awesome! They have a great selection of beers and the service is amazing. There are plenty of tables to hang out at and the ambiance is really cool. The only thing I might suggest is that there be snacks (popcorn, peanuts, etc.). However, there was a brick oven pizza truck that showed up which was really cool.
