Double veggie but I don't think I got veggies at all.

I love this place. I drive fast for the veggie tacos as the inferno salsa is amazing!!! I went again today for a double veggie breakfast taco. Got home and was disappointed. This is not even any veggies just onions pretty much and for paying double it's not ok!! I'll be back of course. But hopefully I'll get some veggies.

Perfect stop to pick up a quick meal. They have drive thru too. The chicken tacos I had for lunch today were delicious. It was fresh and flavorful. It came with 2 tacos and it was very filling because it was loaded with lot of chicken. The flour tortillas was excellent choice for this tacos and held all the ingredients together. Enjoy! Highly recommend.

Perfect Little Rock in my chicken bowl. I was afraid to eat anymore of it. Didn't want to break a tooth.

This is my first time eating at Brushfire. I ordered the chicken bowl. It looked really good. On my second bite I could feel something hard and spit out a perfect shiny rock. I was afraid to eat anymore of it. Was there more n my bowl? Where did this rock come from?

We ordered $40 worth of food. It was all squished into one paper bag which tore apart and fell everywhere when handed to me through the drive thru. I didn't want to make a fuss so moved on but the container at the bottom leaked everywhere. Next, we ordered the food without the creamy avocado sauce because my kids don't like it. Of course when we opened our food to eat dinner, it was covered in it. So $40 later I have a mess and nobody ate dinner. The flavor might have been good if not covered in the overpowering sauce we didn't ask for.

    Old menu with inaccurate pricing

Taco Tuesday failure. Brushfire Tacos Y Tapas has been anxiously awaited by many Stetson valley residents for months now. The opening date was pushed back multiple times, but we were excited when they finally opened. Unfortunately our experience last night was our first and most likely our last. We decided on a whim to give it a whirl and had a menu that had been passed out at our local farmers market with all the plates, prices, and options they offer. We studied the menu and had our order ready before we got in the drive thru. There were 5 cars ahead of us and it took forever for each one; we almost backed out and said forget it but someone came up behind us. When we finally got to order we discover that the menu had changed, the prices weren't accurate, and they offer less food for the money. I understand inflation and prices change, but don't hand out a menu with firm pricing a month before you open, it's confusing and disheartening. We ordered a shrimp taco (they honored the expired coupon due to the late opening which was nice), steak burritos (one made into a meal), a horchata drink, and a quesadilla. Our order took a long while to prepare, and while the staff were very friendly they looked frazzled and not properly trained or prepared for all they had to do. Not sure if this is because of staffing issues lately or just poor management. They were working hard, but just not organized enough to make good food or turn over decent service times. We finally got our order but they forgot our drink and the horchata was empty so they had to run in the back and bring one out. We drove off anxious to try our food but sad for the employees who were overwhelmed. Brushfire itself is an attractive drive thru/walk up building that is sleek and modern for fast food. It's clean and appealing to the eye. They have two drive thru lines, but unless they get the service up and running they can barely manage one. Once we got home we dove into our burritos and were very unimpressed. The flavors just weren't there. It wasn't greasy Mexican food but it wasn't healthy either, it was just mediocre. The quesadilla and chips were the same. Very lackluster. The salsas were actually decent which added some spark to the meal, but not enough to make it very good or satisfying. The horchata however was very good as was the shrimp taco, so that's a plus! The quality and price of the food is absolutely not worth it. If you want greasy go to Federico's and if you want healthy head to chipotle, but skip Brushfire.

This is the steak fries. Should've taken a picture before we dug into it. Potatoes were crispy and the spicy mayo is delish.

Great food and good service for a reasonable price. The outdoor seating was OK, but it would be nice if they had an indoor dining space.

The chicken bowl and empanadas are my go to! The green salsa and empanada sauce are delicious to add on.

Everything was really good but in my opinion the cabeza was the standout. We also had horchata which was great as well. The tacos came out super quickly and the service was solid. I asked for their spiciest salsa since I've got a high tolerance and what was out at the bar wasn't quite enough for me. They actually brought me one from behind the counter that was both really flavorful and seriously spicy. Overall great experience and definitely our new go to taco spot.

Otherwise the carne asada, lengua and tripa tacos were all delicious and generously portioned! They have grilled jalapeños, and a self-serve garnish bar with 4 different types of salsas, pickled red onions, sliced cucumbers, shredded cabbage, diced onions and chopped cilantro, lime, and their liquidy guac. We came back already for their crunchy tripas and will continue to visit for our taco/burrito fixes. Service: 5-stars - Open kitchen behind the service counter allows you to see how they cook their meats over the charcoal grill. Our order came out pretty quick. 10-15 mins max. It's a fast casual spot so open seating, no host/waiters but there are workers that clean the dining area. Ambiance: 4-stars - Nothing special but clean and open dining areas. Multiple TVs for your viewing pleasure along with an outdoor patio area for outdoor dining. Overall 4-stars - I will say, after ordering for takeout last week, the best experience is to dine-in. The tripas were not as crunchy when taking home to eat. However, if you like your tripas crunchy like I do, dine-in and eat fresh is the best. Tacarbon satisfied our taco craving but they also offer cheese crisps, burritos and plates that include tortillas and beans. Pretty good overall, but definitely still room for improvements - especially for the premium price point. Definitely recommend to check out if you haven't already. It's probably going to be our new go-to spot for Mexican food.
