Cadillac margarita
Ed L.

Looking for for traditional American Mexican food - plaza Bonita is a great choice! The staff is friendly, the ambiance is full of happy chatter from regulars with the staff. The margaritas are good and reasonably priced. The chili rellano was lightly breaded and had just enough kick. Chili Colorado was tasty too

First time at Plaza Bonita, but my hubby's been here a bunch for lunch. We showed up around 1:30 pm for a late lunch, and there was still a line! Waited about 10 minutes, though, so not bad. The place is gorgeous inside--every table and chair has these colorful hand-painted designs that totally make you feel like you're in Mexico. Super cool vibe. Our servers were awesome--super nice and quick. We got the fish tacos, Chile Relleno, and a macho burrito, and everything was so good. Oh, and the chips and salsa they bring out for free? Their salsa is legit amazing. I wanted to try like half the menu, but I ran out of room. Guess that just means I'll have to come back and try more next time. Definitely recommend this place!

There was a bit of a wait, but the food was so worth it! All the employees work together so you will never want for a drink refill, more chips and salsa, or to have your plates bussed. The food was fresh and the portions were huge.

Mexican trio

Love the Mexican trio Perfect pairing: steak, chicken and bacon wrapped shrimp. Rice and beans full of flavor and grilled green onions just amazing! Chips n salsa and homemade horchata are my favorite!

Shredded beef taco and enchilada with rice and beans

So I took the wife to lunch at this place today. It was packed and the service was a little slow for my taste, had to ask the server twice for a different salsa, we asked In Spanish and then English and it's like she forgot until we made eye contact towards the end. My food was just ok, shredded beef taco and enchilada with rice and beans. The meat was strangely sweet and I didn't like it much, beans and rice where very good the salsa was very thin and runny, the second salsa we asked for seemed to have a strong vinegar taste.y wife like here meal, Carna Asada steak, I had a little bite and found it to be nicely flavored. I'll try this place again if I'm in the area , I noticed they had chicken mole and I love that dish, sure hope it can live up to the hype .

Margaritas
Zandri N.

I love a place where the salsa and chips is free, unlimited and actually tastes good! Also they have the biggest juiciest array of margaritas. The interior is beautifully painted and vibrant. It's a popular spot! I recommend making a reservation.

Friendly folks here. I like the tortilla soup and carne asada steak. A selection of Tequila as well!

Salsa tasted like it was made with dishwater. Refried beans were watery. Just not good in general.

I have eaten there three times now. I love the decor, good service and cleanliness but find their food to be just average.

Ordered for carry out. Food was ready in 10-15 minutes. Hot, fresh and tasty! The enchiladas were great.

The combination of the savory pork, green chile, and fresh toppings makes every bite absolutely delicious. These aren't your average tacos--they're packed with flavor and definitely something I have ordered again and again. Our server Emma could not have been sweeter or more attentive and the food was served hot & delicious. We split two chicken enchiladas and a large side of beans and a small side of rice. The menu is varied, but very similar to a Mexican Restaurant. It's also a great Sports Bar with over a dozen giant screen TV's carrying a variety of games. The bar is busy and the Vibe is amazing. Something this area has definitely been lacking. We look forward to coming back and sampling other dishes. (Also shout out to to Andrew who took our reservation and made sure we had a preferred booth. )

The atmosphere was awesome, and our waitress was absolutely amazing! Mom ordered the Bacado, and I went with the Green Chili chorizo omelet. I was happy to see they had a limited cocktail menu. Anything beyond a Bloody or a Mimosa is unnecessary at a bfast/lunch place, but word is they're getting a new full bar in an upcoming renovation. So if you like an Old Fashioned with your pancakes, you're in luck! We had a bunch of stuff, highlighters the million $ bacon. Lowlight was the biscuit bites. Nice flavor but super dry. The menu pic is better than the actual. Good place though. Overall the food, service and atmosphere will get me back there.
