I've been a big fan of Valle Luna for over 20 years, and this was my first time visiting their Bell location. While I was being seated, I thought to myself, "This is quite a unique layout of this restaurant. Twists and turns with tables tucked away here and there." According to my email and text message confirmations and arriving at the restaurant to pick up, my order was ready at least 10+ minutes prior to my arrival. This was a fun Mexican food spot that I tried while in Arizona. We came here for some lunch on a weekday. It wasn't crowded at all. The atmosphere and scenery of this place was pretty cool. They had lots of choices on their menu. We went with the Fundido and a taco / enchilada combo. The shredded beef fundido was definitely the choice to make. It was so good. Update June 2025 For the first time I had the sizzling fajita and it sure did sizzle and was very tasty, but I had ordered the pork and steak and it was disproportionately pork and it should have been better balanced. The accompaniments were ample and tasty. Enjoyed my House Margarita and asked for Tajin on the rim and they obliged. Complimentary chips as good as ever. Claudia the server was very attentive and it actually seemed she cared that it was my birthday and wished me a happy one right at the start and again at the end. This place is like really eating in a moon valley; it's super dark inside! After walking in and figuring out where to go, we were escorted through the dark interior and made it to our table. Be warned, the aisle is snake and the tables are so close to each other I almost asked if I could try the neighboring tables food! But really, the interior is super cramped and very dark. The service was basic. Not bad, just not good. The server was friendly, so that was a plus. The food came out and it was alright. We did a volunteer event through work, and then after, decided to come here for lunch. We had a large group, and we were seated immediately in one of the back rooms. Went with the lunch special ($1.00 less than normal pricing) of the "mini" taco basket. I say "mini" because these are like regular size tacos. I went with 3 beef, 3 chicken. Next time, I would go with all beef. How were they? Fantastic! Crunchy shells, tasty meat, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese....perfect! Chips and salsa were refilled often, and so were the drinks. Service was great! Everyone enjoyed their meal, and I will definitely come back sooner than later. I forgot how good their mini tacos (and mini chimis) are at Valle Luna. Bomb! read more

The food is always delicious, we usually go to the Cave Creek location but we for the 2nd time in several years went to the one on Bell Road instead. I ordered shrimp fajitas and was served steak fajitas. The server was very rude, I was really nice and said I ordered shrimp not steak and she said you ordered steak and that will be thrown out and it will be awhile before you get the shrimp so I just said thank you and left it at that, I took the steak fajitas home, I enjoyed the rice and the beans. She's been in that job over 20 years, maybe it's time for her to change to a new job. I gave her the 20% tip, I didn't argue with her or demand anything but I think she should have been a nice human, not a snotty one and we won't go back to that location again.
