I was hoping for authentic Mexican flavors but this place reminded me of Baja Fresh in Cali, pretty much Americanized Mexican food. We ordered the carne asada burrito and the al pastor burrito. For the size of the burritos the price was right but the carne asada was mostly tough to chew. Carne asada burrito comes with pico de gallo and guacamole and it tasted good but couldn't get past the tough meat. Al pastor meat was tender but was on the salty side. We've been wanting to try Oscars for a while now. We finally had an opportunity on Tuesday to check it out. Much to our surprise Tuesday is Taco Tuesday and most tacos were $2.79! We ordered 4 tacos total. 2 of the fish tacos, a carnitas taco and a carne asada taco! All of which were very delicious!! To be honest I don't think I could pick a favorite since they were all amazing! The service was fast and friendly and the value was incredible! We will be returning soon!! Great job! read more

We've stopped in a few times and have only had the breakfast burritos. The place is clean and the front employees have been friendly. We've had the chorizo breakfast burrito and bacon, egg, potato which they come with drinks which is nice and served all day! The burritos are huge and good bang for your buck. Every time I go to Oscar's for the last 12 months, the food is below minimum qualities standard standards. I requested a Carne Asada burrito smothered in red sauce. I told the girl four times that I wanted to smothered. I asked her if she understood that I wanted it smothered not just a little bit of red sauce but smothered and she said yes. Visited Oscar's after an instagram post by Blondes who eat. First of all, her post was a little oversized. Oscar's has very friendly service with great employees. The mixed burrito was decent sized. The filling was flavorful and good. The chile relleno had a light breading and was delicious with melted cheese and a salad of guacamole pico de gallo sour cream and lettuce which added to the taste. The tamales had adequate amount of meat filled in them. The red sauce was enchilada, smooth and tasty. The food here was good. I'd like to go back and try the tacos and enchiladas. Dining inside and outside. Plenty of seating. The only negative is that they are not environmentally sound as they use styrofoam plates and cups. read more

I decided to try Oscar's Taco Shop and got their Family Pack of 8 hard shell tacos (4 ground beef & 4 chicken) which comes with chips and salsa - plus I ordered a side of rice. Probably one of the most unauthentic Mexican tacos I have ever had. And the beef is NOT REAL BEEF- it is that FAKE soy beef!! Just horrible! The taco shells I swear were fake too! They fell apart by the time I got home 5 minutes later - not because the meats were juicy because they weren't- they were not even crunchy - they were stale. The chicken texture was weird and rubbery too and had zero flavor. Lastly was the rice which had corn and a few pieces of carrot mixed in. Yuck is all I will say!! Sorry I will not be recommending this taco shop to anyone. Don't waste your money- there are plenty of other great options out there! Very disappointed! read more

Good morning, it hurts me to say this, but after 15 years of going to multiple establishments in multiple states with this company and loving their food, I've had absolutely the worst experience today when I ordered a shrimp burrito to go specifically as they're just very little liquid in the pico de gallo, so it wouldn't be too runny and liquidy however we got a whopping five shrimp because of that inquiry apparently I'm beyond frustrated with this. This is a nice place for straightforward service and great prices for various Mexican food items. My brother and I got a carne asada quesadilla, 2 fish tacos, and 2 shrimp tacos for a total of $25.62. I don't know what the hidden charge of a "convenience fee" is, but at least the service was nice enough and the food good enough. read more

The cook doesn't bother to actually separate the steak strips for tacos and burritos, It usually comes out like a blob. This place was really good and affordable two years ago. They are starting to price themselves out of this market. No taco Tuesday here and you can expect to pay around $20 per person after credit card fees, tax and tip. Probably better off at Ajo Al's from now on. A positive here is that service is decent and they provide unlimited red and green sauce. What can I say except... manna from heaven. We order from this Oscar's once a week, sometimes twice. Everything we've ordered has been a 10/10. The chips and queso is a must have. My personal favorite is the simple (but effective) carnitas taco. I actually crave it after a few days. It's flavorful and has those amazing crispy pork pieces that just keep me coming back for more. Who cares about ambiance when there is a bean and rice burrito on the menu? Right there, out and proud - I have become accustomed to asking for them. It was delicious. The menu has a bunch of really tasty sounding burritos, which I fully intend that try. The young man who prepared my order was delightful and efficient.
