Was a very simple taco. The bean burrito had the potential to be great, but the beans had a weird taste to them. Not necessarily bad, but it wasn't a flavor I loved. The tortillas really saved the day and are why it got this rating. Service was great! Really nice workers but wasn't the cleanest taco stand around. Put your name in at reception and you were taken back usually after a small weight. We didn't have to wait yesterday. The servers are really friendly and checked on a frequently refilling hubs soda a few times without him having to ask. Our waitress also brought us an extra bowl of spicy salsa because she saw we had eaten all of it. Just brought us another basket of hot and chips. On our first visit, I got enchiladas and instead of rice and on the side I decided to choose their potatoes. The potatoes are so delicious. I love them, and I will look forward to these again when we return. Today we ordered: - Coke - Diet Coke (no Coke Zero here) - NACHOS GRANDE - Tortilla chips, cheddar & Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeños. Choose seasoned ground beef, slow-roasted chicken or refried beans, or for an extra dollar, substitute fire-grilled steak or chicken fajita. I chose the chicken fajita protein topping. I ordered this for an entrée, but it would be a really good appetizer for 3 to 6 people. It's almost like cheese crisps, halved, with lots of melted cheese and a small amount of meat on each tortilla half. In the center there are toppings. I enjoyed the pickled jalapeños because they weren't extra hot. This hit my comfort food spot. I wasn't able to eat the whole thing so it was so big, but it was exactly what I was looking for. - THE GRANDE COMBINATION - Beef, chicken, cheese enchiladas, cheese chile relleno, tamale, crispy beef taco, guacamole. This combination is HUGE! Even the plate is grande. Absorbed this, and I think his eyes were larger than his stomach. He filled up on the beans and the rice, the chile relleno, and the taco. He got to take three enchiladas and a tamale for dinner the next night. A very nice tasty plate. Complementary chips and three types of salsa are brought to the table. Of the salsas, one is a red sauce that is mild, one is a pineapple tomatillo, and one is a spicier red salsa. The chips are nice and fresh and thin and brought to the table warm. Men's and women's restroom near the entrance for customers.

This location of Caramba's has been my go-to place for many years. I always bring my family and…read morevisiting friends here for the casual ambience & great food. But last night I was mortified by the lack of service and embarrassed that I invited my friends to come for Taco Tuesday. I get it: 1 bartender on a busy night who got quickly overwhelmed and behind. And then couldn't catch up. So service was a failure. But when you have five older women who are so frustrated they are actually thinking of walking out on their tab? Ball has been dropped. We waited over 15 minutes to place our first drink order; waited for our drinks; bartender never returned so we ended up ordering our food in the other section; and then gave up on ever getting any more drinks. By the time I got my food order, which got lost on the line, the rest of my party had finished eating. Funny, when we started to complain about the lack of service? Our checks magically appeared which should have swiftly and politely have been comped. The food here is pretty good but it's not enough to bring me back. And that's unfortunate. When I was running restaurants we always put a premium on customer satisfaction and the customer experience. Our complaints about a lack of service should have swiftly been addressed with a gracious "you are right. Let us buy your drinks." Or "something." Anything. An apology. A recognition that "we could have done better." It's not the servers' fault, but they would benefit from strong leadership on busy nights. Note: after complaining they did cut our bar tab as some sort of compensation, which we paid along with what we paid for our food. I Hope management sees this and begins to ramp up staffing on their busy nights because it's not fair to staff. On busy nights you need a strong leader who is not afraid to take control - and expeditors! I also hope management empowers their onsite managers. For takeout, I will continue to recommend.

Are the they best nachos? No. Are they very good nachos? Absolutely, but you have to ask them to use shredded cheese instead of the queso. Shredded cheese is objectively better than queso on nachos and how Ignacio "Nacho" Anaya originally made them over 80 years ago. (I literally just learned about him today) My wife always gets a chimichanga and loves them. Again probably a four star chimichanga. My absolute favorite thing about Caramba's? The Primo margarita. Oh. My. God. It's possibly my favorite margarita ever. They're a little too strong for my wife, but in my opinion, seriously one of the best margaritas I've ever had. It's probably best that we don't have a location closer to our house because I'd be eating nachos and drinking Primo margaritas at least weekly. It's a family favorite as well. The kids always get mini chimis and horchata and love it. The service is always good. The food is better than average. The prices are great. I can't wait to go back.
