What's left of my Green enchiladas with rice and half of a quesadilla de Rey's.

The fresh juices are so delicious. Everything is prepared fresh. The tortas are great but the real star is the quesadillas de Rey's! If you live Mexican food you should stop in. Staff is great and friendly. Welcoming environment.

Excellent clean and casual restaurant serving Mexican food based on Mexico City. Service was excellent and attentive. The fruit smoothies were also great. We were visiting the area but would definitely be back if we were in the area again. Highly recommend!

Alambre de Cameron without bacon, loooooved it all!!

Don't let the parking lot fool you, this is a hidden gem!!! Fresh ingredients, packed with flavor and the attention to detail even with my to-go was impressive. Very clean place, brand new modern decor, seating is comfortable with booths and tables. I ordered the Alambre de Camaron without the bacon, which now I regret, who says no to bacon??? Smh, lol. Shrimp was super flavorful and cooked perfectly, bell peppers and veggies grilled to perfection. High quality cheese, nothing greasy. Loved the guac!! I'll definitely be ordering more guac next time. Rice was fluffy and seasoned very well, nothing over salted. Beans were fresh and flavorful as well. Green salsa paired nicely with everything, I can't wait to go back!!!

EL REY My expectations were a little too high here. HIGHLIGHTS: I walked in and Bad Bunny was playing. He's the GOAT. The service was inconsistent but the people were pretty nice. The food was good and decently priced. Solid meal but there is much better Mexican out there. Lowlights: Cavernous energy to the ambiance... Unsettling. Generally speaking, nothing to write home about. but, a Good shout for a quick and yummy Mexican meal.

I learned about this place through Instagram. I ordered El Vampiro to drink which is an all natural juice with beets, carrots, etc. My husband ordered a Jugo Verde, which is a combination of fresh green fruits and veggies. We ordered a queso fundido to start and I ordered the chilaquiles verdes con bistec. My husband ordered La Reina, which is a Torta with everything in it. Our food and drinks were delicious. The red salsa was so good, it wasn't too spicy or watery, it was just right. I would go everyday at least to try one jugo each day (they had so many!). My family is from Mexico City and we visit 1x per year so I am always looking for a place to fulfill my antojo . Drinking my vampiro took me back to walking the beautiful streets of la Condesa. My chilaquiles plate took me back to a little a cafe en la Colonia Roma, My husbands Torta took me to a stand en la colonia Cuauhtémoc. Thanks!

Soooooo Good. First off this place is immaculate. On top of it the ladies were cleaning meticulously. I ordered the piba fresca. Pictures it was so freaking amazing. Flavorful and a lot of it. I also ordered the tacos Hawaiino. I have never in my life tasted such a good taco. Such a great combination of flavors and cooked to perfection! The waitress was extremely nice and attentive. Believe me I will be telling all my friends and family about this place. Please El Rey De La Torta don't change a thing and keep up the great work what a beautiful place you have.

This place is delicious! Every single dish I have order has always had a great taste. The fresh handmade Aguas are delicious. Overall this place is great! & they have a few big screen T.V's to watch any game currently playing.

It's a place I take friends when they're visiting me, family on special occasions, and myself when I don't want to cook at home but want a good meal that leaves me feeling satisfied without breaking the bank, thanks to their daily specials. My partner and I are here almost every Taco Tuesday, and, while they always check, the staff remembers our order. On only a handful of occasions, I've ordered something I didn't love. As soon as I said something (though the staff did ask, too, because they noticed I wasn't eating as voraciously as usual), I was presented with options. I've been looking into an out-of-state move, despite being from here, and not being able to visit Don Juan's is a legitimate concern of mine, lol. My usuals are the carne asada street tacos, green chili burrito, and steak and shrimp fajitas. I also like the chicken enchiladas and the bean dip! Omg, the bean dip slaps. I would buy the salsa in bottles if I could, particularly red.

The staff are super welcoming and friendly, as well as attentive. The food was pretty good. I'll say my burrito was a tad dry for me. I had asked for it enchilada style, but it definitely lacked in the sauce department. The open faced quesadilla was simple but a hit from the table. Portions are large and prices are decent.

Put your name in at reception and you were taken back usually after a small weight. We didn't have to wait yesterday. The servers are really friendly and checked on a frequently refilling hubs soda a few times without him having to ask. Our waitress also brought us an extra bowl of spicy salsa because she saw we had eaten all of it. Just brought us another basket of hot and chips. On our first visit, I got enchiladas and instead of rice and on the side I decided to choose their potatoes. The potatoes are so delicious. I love them, and I will look forward to these again when we return. Today we ordered: - Coke - Diet Coke (no Coke Zero here) - NACHOS GRANDE - Tortilla chips, cheddar & Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeños. Choose seasoned ground beef, slow-roasted chicken or refried beans, or for an extra dollar, substitute fire-grilled steak or chicken fajita. I chose the chicken fajita protein topping. I ordered this for an entrée, but it would be a really good appetizer for 3 to 6 people. It's almost like cheese crisps, halved, with lots of melted cheese and a small amount of meat on each tortilla half. In the center there are toppings. I enjoyed the pickled jalapeños because they weren't extra hot. This hit my comfort food spot. I wasn't able to eat the whole thing so it was so big, but it was exactly what I was looking for. - THE GRANDE COMBINATION - Beef, chicken, cheese enchiladas, cheese chile relleno, tamale, crispy beef taco, guacamole. This combination is HUGE! Even the plate is grande. Absorbed this, and I think his eyes were larger than his stomach. He filled up on the beans and the rice, the chile relleno, and the taco. He got to take three enchiladas and a tamale for dinner the next night. A very nice tasty plate. Complementary chips and three types of salsa are brought to the table. Of the salsas, one is a red sauce that is mild, one is a pineapple tomatillo, and one is a spicier red salsa. The chips are nice and fresh and thin and brought to the table warm. Men's and women's restroom near the entrance for customers.

Are the they best nachos? No. Are they very good nachos? Absolutely, but you have to ask them to use shredded cheese instead of the queso. Shredded cheese is objectively better than queso on nachos and how Ignacio "Nacho" Anaya originally made them over 80 years ago. (I literally just learned about him today) My wife always gets a chimichanga and loves them. Again probably a four star chimichanga. My absolute favorite thing about Caramba's? The Primo margarita. Oh. My. God. It's possibly my favorite margarita ever. They're a little too strong for my wife, but in my opinion, seriously one of the best margaritas I've ever had. It's probably best that we don't have a location closer to our house because I'd be eating nachos and drinking Primo margaritas at least weekly. It's a family favorite as well. The kids always get mini chimis and horchata and love it. The service is always good. The food is better than average. The prices are great. I can't wait to go back.

But last night I was mortified by the lack of service and embarrassed that I invited my friends to come for Taco Tuesday. I get it: 1 bartender on a busy night who got quickly overwhelmed and behind. And then couldn't catch up. So service was a failure. But when you have five older women who are so frustrated they are actually thinking of walking out on their tab? Ball has been dropped. We waited over 15 minutes to place our first drink order; waited for our drinks; bartender never returned so we ended up ordering our food in the other section; and then gave up on ever getting any more drinks. By the time I got my food order, which got lost on the line, the rest of my party had finished eating. Funny, when we started to complain about the lack of service? Our checks magically appeared which should have swiftly and politely have been comped. The food here is pretty good but it's not enough to bring me back. And that's unfortunate. When I was running restaurants we always put a premium on customer satisfaction and the customer experience. Our complaints about a lack of service should have swiftly been addressed with a gracious "you are right. Let us buy your drinks." Or "something." Anything. An apology. A recognition that "we could have done better." It's not the servers' fault, but they would benefit from strong leadership on busy nights. Note: after complaining they did cut our bar tab as some sort of compensation, which we paid along with what we paid for our food. I Hope management sees this and begins to ramp up staffing on their busy nights because it's not fair to staff. On busy nights you need a strong leader who is not afraid to take control - and expeditors! I also hope management empowers their onsite managers. For takeout, I will continue to recommend.
