A quaint and charming decor that told a story of old Italy. The service was quick and friendly. Our waitress was efficient and personable. You could tell she enjoyed her job. We indulged in a house Merlot that had a fantastic flavor. We tried the appetizer sampler platter that was just the right size for the two of us. Our entree's were prepared with great care and tasted of wonderfully fresh ingredients. The portion size was just right for us. We did not partake in any desserts, but the list looked just yummy. Just a great location in Old Town Avondale. We are looking forward to our return to try something new.

She also was very friendly and interested in getting to know some of the customers as they were passing through. She showed genuine interest in their experience and offered a bag and containers for their leftovers. I LOVE IT when you encounter great people working with the public. I do not know Yolanda. I had the eggplant parmesan. Hands down, it is the best eggplant I have had in Phoenix. It was thinly sliced lengthwise, with the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. How hard would it be to have a quieter area or make a speaker accessible with volume control?
