After making sure it was okay with who I'm assuming is the owner & family of the little boy, my kids went to the table he was at to color and play with him. Everyone was so kind and gracious with my kids, and the little boy Sebastian was the highlight of our night. He was such a sweet kid & the best little host. My kids had a great time with him as we waited for our food. I got the carbonara, my dad got the chicken pesto & my husband got a 3 meat penne. The kids got chicken tender and fries. Each dish was delicious and tasted authentic. The bruschetta dip was amazing. My husband doesn't normally like bruschetta, but how the flavors were balanced had him eating most of it. The bread was perfect, crisp outside with a softer inside. My carbonara was creamy and flavorful. Most carbonara upsets my stomach because of dairy (but I still order it anyway because it's my favorite), but how they made it here left me feeling satisfied without an upset stomach which is a huge win in my book! It warmed my heart to feel like my kids were welcomed in a restaurant with open arms when many restaurants view kids in general as a burden. We will definitely be back! Even though it was a white cream sauce, the dish was suprisingly light, I would recommend trying it. The other two people I was with both ordered the Frutti de Mare. There was a good mixe and amount of seafood in the dish and the pasta was cooked perfectly. While the marinara sauce was good, I don't think it was something that was out of this world.
