We come here a lot and I don't know what's changed over the last month but the quality / qc has gotten regularly worse. Over the last 3-4 times I've come the cold brew has been plain bad- either massive amounts of coffee grounds ( how does that happen with cold brew?) or just plain hot coffee over ice - but charging cold brew prices. We've had items forgotten in our order and the quality of the morning food has been in decline. I literally made a yelp account to share my experience, I think the owners need to know. I dont know her name, but the lady with the beard. I wouldnt usually stoop this low but she was so rude. I waited in line for at least 30 minutes but in that time I was able to hear her degrade and humiliate several people behind the counter. I don't know if she is a manager or what but it was awkward for all of us. I would have let it slide but the food was so gross everything was burnt. This place is ok. The menu is a little confusing. They have a dinner menu but it doesn't say what time it a arts. So my self and the person after me tried ordering off that menu and told not until 4. Food is great. But the customer service alone is a problem. I've ordered through here 3 times and each time order a drink EVERY time it has been forgotten through the delivery. The guy who "helped" really just blamed me and DoorDash the entire time (ordered through brushfires website, so DoorDash directs me to call brushfire itself) but brushfire INSISTS i have to come in to pickup the drink myself. So easy to drive by! Located on church grounds--the places succeeded my expectations. Definitely make it a meal and get the tapas! I recommend the Spanish one. The steak and fish tacos were great, too. They did have a 10% inflation surcharge on the receipt. I'd recommend just raising prices rather than having that. However, I get it! read more

The church I attend has this Brushfire on campus...and let me tell you...the food here is BLESSED! My mouth is watering writing this review. My go-to is their steak breakfast burrito. The chipotle mayo they put in there..I could drink.. Their chorizo is delicious too. Honestly, anything you get is gunna be good. Located on the campus of Pure heart church, this restaurant is awesome! The tacos are on a 6 inch flour tortilla (a little bigger than a street taco). It is packed with meat, or vegan, avocado and pieces of tomato and onion. DELISH! My favorite is the huge burrito. First time visit. Went for breakfast and were not disappointed. Both ordered the breakfast bowl. I had the bacon. Wife opted for veggie bowl. Very well put together. We asked if the empanadas were available as they do not serve lunch items until 10 am. Our server said they could get some for us. These were brought out while we ate. They were hot and delicious. You order at the counter. Drinks are self serve fountain drinks. They are located toward the back of a large church complex. Patio service is available. Very spacious inside. We are looking forward to our next visit to try some tapas dishes. Highly recommend giving this place a try. Not high scale but for sure a must try. On a high note. I went up to pay for the empanadas as we had already paid for breakfast bowls. Our server who also worked the register, said they were on the house as this was our first visit. So glad to see a Brushfire location at this campus near my home. My Brushfire love affair began at the Tbird & 101 location. Sadly I moved away but now there's this location a mile away. The only thing that sucks is they close at 1pm daily except on Saturdays, they're open til 7pm. I put a reminder note on my fridge so we can pick up dinner here on Saturday. So, about their food. I love their bowls. Every single one. My favorite is the pork (al pastor) bowl with its chunks of pineapple and the perfect ratio of meat, beans and rice- so flavorful! What I like about their bowls is that they top it with the lettuce instead of the lettuce being buried under all the other ingredients. No one wants soggy lettuce. I really enjoy their elote, croquettes and empanadas. All are a wonderful accompaniment to their entrees. For $4 & some change, you can make it a combo and add a tapas item, chips & salsa plus a drink to any menu item. I like the bowl option as a way of offering a healthier alternative to the burrito. As far as their salsas go, they're all decent but I wish they had one that was truly spicy. Other than that, great prices and good food here. read more

Sunday morning craving: Breakfast burritos. After doing a search, I stumbled upon this little spot and thought, "Seems legit." So I headed over. To my surprise, it was hidden (out-of-sight) in the back lot, near a church. Odd place to put a restaurant, but I "followed the masses" and went into Brushfire. It wasn't fully packed, but it wasn't too slow either. So I thought for sure I made a good choice. The reviews were packed with descriptions of how good the food is, which only goes to show you: don't trust everything you read. Overall, I wasn't blown away by my breakfast burrito. It was just okay. For being located next to a church, it's nothing to praise. The best part of my meal was my horchata. Doubt I'll be back. Living in AZ, there are numerous places with the type of Mexican food that will roll your eyes back. Unfortunately, this wasn't one of those places for me. The staff was very nice and hard-working. All about $10 dollars. Make sure you get 2 salsas because you will get plenty of chips. I really enjoyed the spicy mayo with the empanada! Very comfortable place to enjoy a meal located in the middle of the church. And as an added plus the air conditioning in this place is amazing for a hot summer day. I was super excited when I saw this place had opened up. But then I tried to find it and was thrown off because all I could see was the church that was surrounding it. I finally pulled into the parking lot and saw that it was at the center of the church campus. Walking in and seeing the slightly hipster vibe going I knew that it wouldn't disappoint. The people greeted me as I walked in which is always nice, plus since it was around 1 it wasn't crowded so that was nice. I ended up order the steak nachos to go and I am glad I did! Some places always skimp on the steak when you order nachos and usually give you more salsa, guac, beans and cheese which I am not mad at but when they don't shave enough meat thrown in there it bums me out. This place a great amount of all the fixings. Plenty of steak to go around and plenty of chips to eat it all. My only gripe was the to go bad felt a little to small for all the food so I had to dig a little to get to my chips but other then that it was great. Highly suggest and recommend to those looking for a good lunch or dinner. I know I will for sure be back. read more

Brushfire provides flavor you can't find anywhere else. I always drop by when I'm in the Northwest valley and sometimes go out there just when I'm craving it. I cannot put into words how tasty their food is, but nothing is the least bit bland. Beat of all, breakfast is served until 12:30 pm!! Breakfast and dinner are 5 stars! Decided to try this place after Dutch Bros and it was pretty good. We tried all their tacos and obviously the carne was best. The empanadas are great but pricey that its $3 each for a small one.
