Lenny's Burger Shop just rewired my brain. I went in for a simple meal and left ready to nominate this place for a national treasure award. I ordered the Patty Melt with a side of chili cheese fries and it was pure nostalgia in edible form. The flavor launched me straight back to those old school park barbecues with family and friends where everything tasted better because it was made with actual care. Lenny's captured that feeling perfectly. My friend got the hickory burger with onion rings and the look on his face after the first bite said everything. We both ordered single patties and still walked out full, satisfied, and a little emotionally attached to this place. The portions are generous without being ridiculous. The pricing is way more reasonable than the fast food chains that serve microwaved sadness. The staff was absolutely amazing. Friendly, fast, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. It gave the whole shop a warm, welcoming energy that most places only dream about. I cannot recommend Lenny's Burger Shop enough. I will be back many times and I will drag everyone I know with me. Let me say this: I've been coming here for years now. But, sad to say, that two burger combos are now over $30. I understand their prices need to go up, but this spot has been more affordable for many years and now it's no longer the case compared to how it was. I recommend it if you haven't tried it! The food is great. The service during the day is great. The service at night is another story. The cashier is rude and acts like she's annoyed. We went there last night and she was the usual "I hate my job" mood. I checked out and paid with a credit card, the only prompt I received was for text or print receipt. I printed the receipt and ate my food. After I got home I looked at the receipt and it autograted 20% tip. I never had the option for amount of tip on the screen. So beware if you pay by card, kinda soured me to this place, kinda of scammy in my opinion. They do not provide any extra service other than taking my order and cooking my food. Watch when you are paying with card! I send around 40 some dollars and I get home and on my banking app it showed they charged me over four hundred dollars. A really tasty burger. The meat is really fresh and juicy. A cut above the standard burger for sure. Had a triple just to make sure I was getting enough meat to taste. They also use a sesame seed bun. A really good sesame seed bun. Near perfection here. They place is spotless and you can see everything that is happening with your food so you know its done right. The service was great but they got my order wrong I asked for a double plan burger with just ketchup and mustard but when I got home I got the wrong burger that had onions on it and I'm highly allergic to onions so I had to throw the burger away, I would check before taking your food home to make sure it's the correct order read more

Bun was super dry, that makes the burger crap regardless of how the rest of it tastes. And this isn't just my burger, a lot of other reviews say the same. Both of our shakes weren't mixed properly, there was big chunks of carmel sitting on the bottom of the cup, but the onion rings were spot on perfect, crispy and tasted great. Great onion rings here to start off. They will cost $1 extra to upgrade, but it definitely is worthy. The burger was good as far as burgers go. They cooked it fresh, but you have to ask for it well done since they only cook to medium well. Thousand island burger was solid with all the usual toppings. I had been craving a "mom & pop" style burger for a few weeks now. Fast food places just weren't cutting it. I'm just going to say my ONE complaint now and get it out of the way! No "just regular" bacon cheeseburger! Obviously you could just add bacon to a regular cheeseburger, I am very aware. But it just so happened to be my lucky day because I was also craving onion rings and they had a Cowboy Burger (bbq sauce, onion ring, bacon, lettuce, tomato)! I went all in and changed the fries to onion rings as well! Price came to just under $19 ($1.80 extra for the onion ring swap) but meal comes with a 32 oz fountain drink. They serve Coke products which is always the cherry on top! I got my order to go but ordering area is basically big enough for maybe 3 people, seating is in another part of the building. Not far, out the front door and just to the right. Service was with a smile and SUPER FAST! As for the burger and rings: it met my expectations and then some! The bbq sauce was not so much that the burger was in no way a mess! Honestly no bbq sauce on the wrapper when done! This burger definitely hit that craving spot! The rings traveled well! They were hot and you get a side of ranch with them. I took a picture of one next to the empty ranch side cup for size because they were HUGE! Menu says you get about 6-8 but don't let that turn you away from ordering them, they are worth the price of admission! Overall a well deserved 5 out of 5 and I will be returning soon! read more

My husband and I came here just because we were looking for some lunch actually. They have a pretty decent size burger menu I kept it pretty simple and just got the country burger. My husband got the chili cheese fries they were actually pretty good. We also got a side of the zucchini chips and those were really really tasty. I like Lennys Burger because it's more of a diner style burger it's completely different than just going to in N out or any of those fast food burger places. They have outdoor seating or on the side is this little area that has feeding but it's super hot in there because there's no air-conditioning and there's a ton of mosquitoes. I definitely will come back but I'll probably do a take-out order instead it's a great burger place. read more

Family was wanting a burger so we made a drive to Lenny's. Now, Lenny's is not new to me, I remember my mom bringing the family here as kids and the burgers were great and the fries with the seasoning was bomb! Today was no exception. This is not upscale hipster trendy dining. The shop doesn't look like it's in the best shape from the outside and the area isn't the greatest either. However, when you walk in it's clean which is what's important. We weren't greeted when we walked in but no biggie. The menu is on the wall and it took us all a minute to figure out what we wanted. The kids got jr. combos, I got the ranch burger, my husband got the country burger, and we got an order of onions rings. You order and pay right there at the counter. For everything we got which included fries and drinks it was $32. You're given your cups to choose your drinks and there is a seating room right outside where you order which has a couple booths and long picnic tables. It took about 10 minutes or so to get our food and everything was hot and fresh. We all loved our burgers which were all made correctly. The fries were cooked perfect with enough seasoning and crispy edges and the onion rings were crisp and served with ranch. This place is great for a good no frills meal. Prices are ridiculous for a fast food joint that has no restroom and inside seating. They straight up pulled out a frozen box of burger patties and started thawing them right in front of you. 1 single 1/2 lb burger cost about $6 and if you get a double it'll cost you about $11. The hag with the bad attitude needs to reconsider her minimum wage position. Absolutely rude she answered the phone and did not greet but I could hear noise. I figured there was something wrong with the phone so I hung up so I could try again only to find that the phone was left on busy I tried to call multiple times to no avail. on my last attempt, I get an answer about 20 minutes and three phone calls. I tell her I tried to order food, but the phone answered and no one picked up instead of acknowledging it. She interrupts and tells me "well it's busy" and asked if I'm going to place an order or not so rightfully so I hung up on her because I will not be spoken to that way. She is a dark haired senora with glasses, the cashier that constantly answers the phone. Pro tip: don't work a customer service job if you're going to be rude and have an attitude when I was just trying to place an order. I used to work food and I understand it can be frustrating. I couldn't believe that when I ordered a burger combo and just wanted to have french fries upsized cheese fries it would cost me an additional $5. I start that because I've never seen an upsize charge like that in my entire life just for cheese. Then I asked for a side of mayo and I wanted a dollar more for that. This place will nickel and dime you but I will say the food is really good. The burgers are made on a charcoal grill and that char taste cannot be replaced it is that good. Cheese is gooey and melty and it was such a great experience as far as the culinary part. The french fries are freshly cut and you can tell how nice and crispy they are and fresh and everybody. The milkshakes are fantastic and freshly made and you can watch everything being done right at the counter. They have a separate dining room which is nice because you don't have to hear all the noise coming from the ordering area. I'm glad that there's a sign that tells you there's an extra charge if you use your card. They have a whole separate part of the building if you decide you want to eat in instead of take out. They were busy so it took awhile to get service. I tried out a single patty country burger, chili fries, and fried mushrooms which cost $18.11. Their home made thousand island sauce complimented their burger well; it was quite delicious. The chili fries included beans which didn't complement the chili very well.
