We saw the sign from the farmer's market and we have to try this. When we walked in, it was actually really spacious. There are two big TVs right up front, so at first we didn't even see the menu. The menu and register are actually off to the side next to the drink fridge. We ordered a regular Supreme, a large Supreme, and some cheese fries. The fries were cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, but the cheese sauce made them a little salty. The sandwiches were really good though. The only difference between the regular and the large is that the large just has more steak. So, I "tried" to give this place another try......NEVER AGAIN. Once again DISAPPOINTING. I went in, only two people in line.....I waited. This was our first time trying this place and did not know what to expect. I first thought it would be authentic Philly Cheesesteaks sandwiches. It does not appear to be, as they also do not have cheese whiz! But the food they do have I was pleasantly surprised by! I ordered the Western and Sweet Potato Fries. This tasted great! The meat was cooked perfectly and the cheese melted. With the tiny onion rings and BBQ sauce, I really enjoyed the taste. The sweet potato fries were also very good. The cashier was very nice, but the cheesesteak was not good. They are not trying to be authentic because they are using provolone and putting lettuce and tomato on each sandwich. It was later than our usual dinner time and we couldn't figure out what the hell we wanted to eat, so we drove around until we passed by Philly Steak & Burger. Thought we should try it out and I'm glad we did! I got the chicken philly, boyfriend got the steak, both meal deals. Everything was delicious! Came here with a coworker today for lunch. First of all I have to strongly disagree with some of the poor early reviews of this place. To me it sounds more like they're salty over the fact that it's no longer a Johnny Rockets since they mention that in their reviews. Also the place is brand new and in my experience, new places have a few kinks to work out before they hit their stride and the poor reviews seem to pick on that a bit. Now for my honest review. My coworker and I decided to try two different cheesteaks and split them. First was the supreme, which has provalone, peppers, onions, lettuce tomato. The other was the Sonoran which had jalapenios, beans, crema, bacon. Both were delicious. The fries were really great too. Crispy , nice sized fries. Really good overall. The bread was toasted perfectly, nice and soft. Really solid. Both came loaded with meat and toppings. Next is the service. The owner was working the register. He was very attentive, explained the different items on the menu, came by later to check to see how we liked our food. Also saw another customer with a burger that looked amazing and he raved to the owner how good it was. I will definitely be back to try some of their other sandwiches and burgers. They also have cheesesteak salads and some keto friendly options for those trying to go with healthier options which is great. The interior was clean, casual and about what you expect for a place like this. I'll be back for sure. This place was a hit. My coworker also really enjoyed the food and said he'd be back. Take those salty reviews with a grain of salt. They seem more bothered that their favorite burger chain isn't there anymore and actually suggests other major chain restaurants as an alternative which shows where their standards are. This is much better than any of those places. Can't wait to try again and I really wish them success so they can stick around a while. read more

It was alright. The service provided to my friend and I was fine. However, another couple showed and lined up after we had already sat down. My friend had to ring the company phone three times for someone to walk up front. He did it because the couple had already been waiting 5 mins or so. No one ever answered the first two calls nor attempted to. However, on the third phone call, someone started walking towards the phone (near the register up front) and finally noticed there were customers waiting. There were at least 3 ladies working that day. As someone else mentioned, there are already two options for Cheesesteaks in this same plaza, so I'm not sure this place will make it, especially with witness to poor service my first and only time being here. I had lunch last week and to my pleasant surprise, it was delicious. I ordered the French Dip. My sandwich had plenty of beef, onions and cheese. The bread was very fresh and held up well with the Au Jus. The Au Jus came out piping hot and had a nice beefy flavor and not overly salty. I ordered the combo which included fries and a drink. Did I mention how good the fries were? Well, they were also great. Hot and crispy. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Every thing is cooked to order so be patient. Well this was Johnny Rockets up until a few weeks ago I guess and now it's a general fast food kind of place. I kind of wonder what the owner was thinking being as you have Jersey Mike's which has awesome Philly steaks and also Charlie's Philly steaks in the same Shopping Center. I got to say between the three this one ranks the lowest as the meat was really dry and it was really nothing out of the ordinary on the sub. The fries were greasy and there was really nothing special about it. I think in the end the competition is going to get the best of this place as there's a lot of places in the center you can get the same food for right around the same cost but the quality is just better. read more

We got an order to go- very pleasant owner. Ordered the Traditional Supreme and Cowboy cheesesteaks. My boyfriend wanted to try the onion rings, and I'm a sucker for sweet potato fries (well done!) and so that was added to the order. Everything was very nicely packaged up for the ride home. The large steaks were huge and filled with all the yumminess that is shown in the website photos. The onions rings were not greasy and the sweet potato fries were awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches and we have leftovers for today (yay!). We will be back for sure and will be curious to try some of the other offerings. As we are both from NJ and have tried all the Philly places and in NJ, we are happy to find something here in Phoenix that brings us back to our "roots". First time, I bought their cheesesteak small combo. Sandwich was yummy but the portion was in fact small. Tried then today and bought their double cheeseburger combo with onion rings. Rings aren't bad, needs seasoning. But sweet baby Jesus - this might just be my favorite burger in town. It's absolutely massive and delicious. I got talking with who I assume the store manager and he told me that they shave the Philly meat every morning and they weigh out the hamburger meat so it's never frozen.
