You actually taste the peppers, onions, and cheese without anything being too much. That's usually where spots mess up, but this one was on point. What I liked most--it wasn't greasy at all. Ate the whole thing and didn't feel heavy after. No bloat, no mess, just a clean sandwich that still hits. Bread held up, fries were good, nothing over the top--just done right. Unfortunately both sandwiches were disappointing. We got the bomb philly and I got the OG, which was an extra $5. The lady at the counter held up the two bread sizes comparing the mini vs the whole. Total for both and nothing else was $42+. The OG was supposed to have been more meat and cheese but they gave me a mini, no extra meat, but I ordered a whole. It was recommended to me to go here. Glad that I did. It is on the smaller side with some tables inside and out. It is a clean place. I got there around 11:30, so I was able to order right away. After that there was a line to order. I ended up getting a Philly OG with onions and sweet peppers. Got my food and this was cheese steak heaven. The sub roll was overstuffed with meat that some was falling out with every bite. The meat was perfectly cooked and the sweet peppers did add an additional flavor to it and a perfect amount of cheese. This establishment has the best cheese steak in Arizona hands down. read more

Small but delicious! I love a good Philly and I haven't had one in a while, so I popped in here. Small inside with four tables for seating. Placed my order and it was ready within a few minutes. Great place to come for a cheesesteak! I came on a Monday around the end of lunch and my sandwich was ready super quickly. Some other places skimp, but I got a good amount of cheese whiz on my cheesesteak without it being too overwhelming. I got a large sandwich with no fries and I was satisfied but not too full. Sometimes a cheesesteak for lunch can be too filling but this was perfect. The inside of the restaurant was clean and inviting but since it was nice out I decided to eat on the patio. I liked that they had a designated parking lot so unless it's really busy you probably don't need to worry about parking. read more

I've only been here once, had a cheesesteak, it was good. Good meat to bun ratio. It was the lunch rush so they were doing a swift business. Philly was hot and bun was perfectly crusty. This tiny little place is serving up some tasty food! I just started working in the neighborhood and a coworker and I decided to grab some lunch. We were having quite the busy day and didn't want to go too far, so this was actually the closest place. I went with the mini original Philly. She had chicken instead. We both made them into combos - fried zucchini as her side and onion rings for mine so we could share. We did dine in as there were a couple empty tables. Be warned - I think there are only 4 tables since it is so small. They may have outdoor seating, but I'm honestly not sure. The place reminds me of the old clam shacks back on the east coast. Just order at the counter/window and wait for them to call your number. Nothing fancy, but usually has the best food at decent prices. And being from the east coast, I've had a few Philly cheesesteaks in my day. This was right up there with the best of them. Flavorful, hot and on a great roll! We all know the rolls can make or break any sandwich/hoagie/sub. And the mini with the side of rings was the perfect lunch size. The onion rings and the zucchini were crispy, not greasy, and thick cut so you got the vegetable. I know I'll be stopping in again. I noticed a gyro on the menu, and some baklava on the counter, so the owners may be Greek, and I know I want to try those. Tastes as good as it used to, which is spectacular!! Got the bomb cheesesteak sandwich and it was so amazing. The meat tastes fresh. The cheese is completely melted and mixes with the veggies, especially the peppers on there. The patrons that go there are lovely but so are the employees. The person taking my order I think has always been there and the kitchen staff does an amazing job. Small inside as always, but they did update their menu sign!
