You actually taste the peppers, onions, and cheese without anything being too much. That's usually where spots mess up, but this one was on point. What I liked most--it wasn't greasy at all. Ate the whole thing and didn't feel heavy after. No bloat, no mess, just a clean sandwich that still hits. Bread held up, fries were good, nothing over the top--just done right. Great place to come for a cheesesteak! I came on a Monday around the end of lunch and my sandwich was ready super quickly. Some other places skimp, but I got a good amount of cheese whiz on my cheesesteak without it being too overwhelming. I got a large sandwich with no fries and I was satisfied but not too full. Sometimes a cheesesteak for lunch can be too filling but this was perfect. The inside of the restaurant was clean and inviting but since it was nice out I decided to eat on the patio. This tiny little place is serving up some tasty food! I just started working in the neighborhood and a coworker and I decided to grab some lunch. We were having quite the busy day and didn't want to go too far, so this was actually the closest place. I went with the mini original Philly. She had chicken instead. We both made them into combos - fried zucchini as her side and onion rings for mine so we could share. We did dine in as there were a couple empty tables. Be warned - I think there are only 4 tables since it is so small. They may have outdoor seating, but I'm honestly not sure. The place reminds me of the old clam shacks back on the east coast. Just order at the counter/window and wait for them to call your number. Nothing fancy, but usually has the best food at decent prices. And being from the east coast, I've had a few Philly cheesesteaks in my day. This was right up there with the best of them. Flavorful, hot and on a great roll! We all know the rolls can make or break any sandwich/hoagie/sub. And the mini with the side of rings was the perfect lunch size. The onion rings and the zucchini were crispy, not greasy, and thick cut so you got the vegetable. I know I'll be stopping in again. I noticed a gyro on the menu, and some baklava on the counter, so the owners may be Greek, and I know I want to try those. I also got a small order of fries and a medium drink. My total came out to just under $16.00. So yes, it is expensive, but I've found that ANY authentic cheese steak place is around the same cost. The place is small and cute, and the employees were all very nice! All of the food was amazing. I will absolutely be coming back! The cashier lady was kind. But the philly was a huge disappointment. The meat was dry and crumbly. There was blubber also with the very little meat it had in the sandwiches. Purchased two large... Unfortunately the pictures were deceiving. The picture in Yelp showed full and moist philly sandwiches. The ones that came out for our table and also next to us were poor, that meat was all placed in front to show there were good portions of meat, but only filled 1/3 front of the bread. The 2/3 part is all empty. Also, the cheese was probably one slice for the entire sandwich, again placed up front of the sandwich but nothing past what you see. I had to come here twice before leaving my review. The food is great but the love I don't feel is there. I tested my theory and I ordered a regular and one with extra beef they gave you the same amount regardless but charge 3.50 to add extra meat. It's happen both time. I've honestly weighed them out at home I'm petty like that. Very disheartening to be dishonest like that. I caught the guy scrapping the bottom bucket of cheese wiz for my sandwich because they where closing soon they didn't want to open a new one until he realized I was watching the whole time and said dude wth was that I'll pay for the extra if that's what your gonna try and serve me.
