Literally the best bagel I have ever had in my entire life. I ascended into a different realm when I bit into this fluffy piece of heaven. I know they are more known for their smash burgers (which also looks fire) but the bagels are where it's at. I came with a friend around 9 AM and there were a few people waiting outside but we got our order taken quickly. The flavors are super interesting but my expectations were still tempered at this point because..how good can a bagel be? The answer: so freaking good. We ordered the blueberry bagel with peach jalapeño cream cheese and an Asiago bagel with scallion Parmesan cream cheese. They came out PIPING HOT. Like it burned my fingers when I held it. For how hot this bagel was, I was surprised the cream cheese didn't just melt and flow everywhere into a big mess. The integrity was there and the hot fluffy bagel beautifully contrasted the crisp exterior. The blueberry bagel had a sprinkle of crystal sugar on top which I've never seen before but added a good texture. I loved the peach jalapeño cc. It wasn't spicy but the jalapeño flavor complimented the sweetness of the peach. We did have to wait longer than expected (about 15-20 minutes) but it was so worth it. Keep in mind that seating is outdoors but the space is covered so it is hot but not unbearable. Overall, I will be back to try other cream cheese flavors!! I ordered here via ClassPass credits. Like others said, it's mostly metered parking. The spot is super cute; like an outdoor food hall. I ordered the decaf (veggie burger)- it was super cheesy, had a lot of great toppings, and a yummy bun. The patty however was a bit bland and the whole burger could've benefitted from a sauce. The integrity of the patty also started to turn to mushy. My burger was wrapped ready to be eaten, which was nice.
It's a walk-up burger spot where you order at the window, grab your food, and enjoy plenty of seating nearby. The employee was super friendly, and I was able to place my order quickly. Our food came out fresh in about 10 minutes, which was impressive. Everything was delicious! My burger literally melted in my mouth--it was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I'll definitely be coming back for another visit.
I love stoop kid! I think it's one of the best burgers in town! I love the sauce and the pickles and the cheesiness. And I also love their curly fries! Service is always prompt. Sometimes there is a line but I think it's worth it.
What I got: Tator tots with fancy and simple sauce Smash salad with ceasar burger Solid tots gave alot of them pretty thick and crispy , didn't have that lingering frozen taste which is nice the star lost is on the sauces thought they'd be flavorful but they both tasted like diluted versions of what was listed as a flavor explanation for them the Smashburger was pretty good. I like that idea. I just was not aware that it was going to be so darn spicy when it makes no sense because nothing in it says that it's going to be spicy like my white ass was dyinnnnng haha
Stoop Kid is located in Churchill, a dining area with multiple restaurants, bars, and stores. We ordered the Stoop burger, Sunny burger, and a side of curly fries. The wait wasn't long at all, and we got our food pretty quickly. The food was so good! The burgers were super tasty and the fries were nice and crispy. There's plenty of seating at Churchill and we came midday on a Saturday, so finding a table to sit at wasn't an issue. A great place to meet up with friends for a bite.
Located inside the Churchill is a small burger spot serving quality food. First time and won't be my last. We ordered the Sunny and Stoop burger with curly fries. The sunny burger includes a brisket with pickles, caramelized onions on a sesame brioche bun. Brisket was cooked perfectly, each bite was juicy and the sauce they used made it even better. The stoop burger was also delicious. Instead of a brisket, it has a sausage seasoned beef with goes well with the fried egg! I prefer the stoop burger over the sunny burger but you can't go wrong with either one. The curly fries were crispy, just didn't get the correct dipping sauce. Inside the Churchill there's plenty of seating, bars and other food options. If you're there to eat, drink and mingle, make sure to grab a burger here.
Got a veggie burger - which I'd probably put in my Top 5 of the Valley, and mac bites and can't wait to have them again! The sauce for the mac had a kick but was so tasty! They were super busy when we're were there mid-afternoon, so it took a white but the food was so good. This gem is inside the Churchill, which is buzzy and open and easy to find a table, so this place is great for groups, dates and any age.
With fatigue and a long trip - we ordered from here via Door Dash for an afternoon lunch sent to our hotel room. I ordered the double regular, with an extra side of special sauce. The burger was insanely massive and the smash patties nice and crispy overhanging the bun while still holding in the cheese and sauce. I really liked the food. Would recommend this place - try dining in first though.
For breakfast, consider these messy, oversized, and sloppy bagels with edgy names. Until this place arrived, The Churchill never had a true breakfast option, so I can see why it has some real staying power! What I liked: You are definitely getting enough food for a satisfying breakfast. Maybe even too much. I tried their "Egg the Scallion" (ham, soft, runny egg, gruyere, cream cheese), as well as the "Money Shot" (scrambled egg, hash brown, tomato) and either one is something I'd struggle to finish at 9am. But the flavors were there! Service is also great, and everything comes out fast. I must warn it gets a little messy though. OK, maybe more than a little messy--there's just too much going on. And I appreciate a good locally-made bagel, but these have a real uncharacteristic hardness and heft to them that helps hold everything together at the expense of being the star of the sandwiches. You might feel like you need a plate, knife, and fork rather than a couple napkins and a bit of foil. But despite all that, I can't say I left unhappy--I'd definitely return.

I love stopping by the Churchill and hanging out there while enjoying some drinks or food. Stoop kid has always been really good, whether it's the bagel sandwiches for breakfast or burgers, it's all really tasty. This last time I got the burner burger and side of curly fries. The burger was really good. The flavor on the actual meat in the burger really has a lot of flavor and makes it really good. I don't get much spice out of the burner burger, but it was still good. I actually thought the standard regular burger was even more delicious. The curly fries also are delicious and make the perfect pairing for the burgers.

Went on first Friday which was a good vibe and they had a DJ too. I'm a big fan of the smashed patties since it had a lot of flavor. I wish the buns were toasted more since they were pretty mushy/soft
I live about 400 miles from Stoop Kid but I'm counting down the day until I get to visit this place again. SOOOO GOOD! My husband ordered "the Regular" and added bacon jam + grilled onions and I accidentally received his order. The universe decided to bless me with this heavenly goodness. Easily one of the top 3 smash burgers I've have ever had in my entire life. We also ordered both the tots and curly fries and didn't have a fav. The burger is where it is at! We were able to find metered parking for about $3 and the small burger join is in this fun food plaza. Do expect a bit of a wait for some good food but its definitely a one of a kind smash burger place. read more
The food is great, but the way this business is run is incredibly frustrating. There is always a long line, and the service is painfully slow and inefficient. Today was the final straw. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, we finally reached the counter, only to be told they were serving burritos exclusively. How difficult would it have been to communicate that to the people waiting in line? A simple announcement could have saved customers 30 minutes of wasted time. It's a complete lack of consideration for your customers. To make matters worse, the cashier is also responsible for packing orders, which slows everything down even more. Watching the employee at the front struggle to pack food efficiently was painful. Her extremely long nails certainly didn't seem to help with the process. If you're consistently dealing with long lines, perhaps consider having someone dedicated to taking orders and someone else packing food to keep things moving. Great food can only make up for poor service for so long. The lack of efficiency, communication, and basic organization is disappointing. Customers shouldn't have to waste their time because a business can't figure out how to manage its operations or communicate. Do better, Stoop Kid. Your food deserves better management, and your customers deserve better service. read more
Stoop Kid is a mom 'n pop shop located in an outdoor food court known as The Churchill. It's located in the heart of downtown Phoenix so expect paid parking. Here's a secret: almost no one pays the metered parking so you'll be relatively safe parking in one of those spots. They focus on burgers and even have a breakfast menu. Unfortunately, some of their items weren't in stock when I was there. I bought two different burgers and I must say they came out hot and pretty good. Service was fairly amiable as well. The Churchill isn't really a space for good conversation because of the loud atmosphere but at least the shops inside are nice. As of this writing, Stoop Kid is part of InKind's lineup so you can save 20% on your order or save 35% if you buy the Costco Inkind gift cards. read more

Gurls there were supreme with service. Menu was f**king top notch. I mean desserts alone got me eyesrites boggling, jaw dropped - YES MA'AM PLEASE AND THANK YOU. I couldn't not... when you tell me *brisket * burgers on cocktail week.... Please say less.. my wallet can't take it. Place was popping off on a Thursday night. Thank you unofficial yelpees for the later raid since I am so clueless lately. I needed this getaway from being a plain Jane. Even though I got the regular burger my life was so complete when they told me you could get these things as a salad too and I was late to the game so I had to go back and ask them to change it and they STILL gave it to me!!! And then they ended up giving me a sandwich with no charge because I guess they forgot and I had wanted to try the Kona bun so badly but I never got the chance to since they were out. Honestly that makes me sad but it gives me another reason to go back. Also...must get the Fresno sauce. Never going back to just hot hon or simple. I need both Fresno and the original on the regular. I need need need it. I honestly didn't have much room for the ube tres leches by the time I devoured the freebie burger bc I was so starved and also excited. My yelpies can attest that I sounded like I won the lottery when they called my name for the second order as well with my cake but honestly I had to eat the whole burger cus it's been so so long since I've had a burger and I had to recreate the Kate Hudson scene from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Guys, this is the best bagel sandwich in Phoenix hands down. I walk here nearly every weekend for a treat (veggie bagel & electrolyte water from the little store next door). I've only tried the veggie burger once and it was yummy but a little crumbly. Fries are delish. Don't let the line freak you out, it moves fast + food is always fresh / yummy. This place specializes in smash burgers, and let me tell you - they understand the assignment. Thin, crispy-edged patties with melty cheese and perfectly squished buns. Every bite was a little greasy, a little messy, and absolutely glorious. Exactly what you want in a smash burger. Laid-back but lively. It's tucked inside a food/bar hall, meaning you can chase your burger with a cocktail or three, then wander around feeling like you just unlocked a secret level of the city. Super friendly, fast, and efficient. Must try spot - they not playing around! read more
This was fabulous! The staff is nice and the bagel sandwiches as out of this world! Lots of seating around. I had the egg thee stallion and they made the egg hard to suit my preference and it was beyond delicious. My boo had the burrito and and said it was fire and had fresh salsa.. Will be back. read more

Ordered a bagel and a bagel sandwich. I told her we were going to share the sandwich and if she could please cut it in half. Once she handed my the food I said did you cut it and she goes "no they have a lot going on back there..." there's one person in front of us. I told her I ordered it cut and she said "it'll be ok, you can blame me." Don't be crappy guys. Also... gave a $3 tip. read more

I don't even eat burgers like that and this one really hit the spot. I got the original stoop with tots and a Hawaiian Punch. The sizes are huge. The burger was everything. The space was perfect with all the options to sit and mist for the hit day. A little bit of a wait but that's okay. Would definitely recommend! There's street parking if you can find it but also a paid parking lot across the street. read more

I got the Stoop Burger and it was really tasty. I just wish they had more options for sauce choices. I would have preferred ketchup. It took about 10-15 minutes to get my order ready. This is located within Brill Line which has a number of bars as well. They have nice seating options, bags, etc so I liked the atmosphere for a quick bite to eat. read more

Yup. What a breakfast burrito. Made me wait 20 minutes but man was it worth it. Jam packed with birria, and excellent flavors all around the board. Nice touch with the tots, added a lovely crispy texture. Delicious. Phoenix, I wasn't familiar with your game, I apologize. read more
First Time Visit To Go First Impressions The best thing about their burgers is made with brisket. The patty is single and it's smashed so a bit thin. There is a bit of sea salt added which they need to tone it down. Overall I love the burger with a runny fried egg. The sauce is kinda like the big mac. They need improvement for their menu as we have vegetarians that want to eat. They need to offer more vegetarian burgers all day. I'm happy with this place. There is potential for this place to get a larger place. This is located inside The Churchill. There is improvement to be made to the menu which I believe will happen due to demand for vegetarian options. Their main competition is Shake Shack in my book read more

OMFG!!!!! DudeS when I say I LOVE FOOD- this place fits into the definition. I may be having heat stroke cause this is OUTDOORS and it's hot. It's July in Phoenix...... it's so good we ordered another one. I was mostly interested in this place for breakfast but I live too far to ever be here for breakfast. Got the STOOP burger and it's 10/10. I saw a review that said the bun needed to be softer...... um, it is soft. Omg I was not expecting this place to be this good, but it's 10/10. My only complaint is the outdoors and heat. But a HUGE perk is that it is attached to tons other food places and bars. You can order cocktails and eat!!! This also as a mother, seems more of a place for adults than kids. Ok I have to add it's over 110 degrees outside and we are sweating on every inch of our body and still happier than happy can be to be here- that's a GOOD BURGER FrFr read more

The Money Sh0t is the reason for this five star review. That crispy hash cake, the delicious spicy bacon shmear and the fluffy, well toasted bagel is always a hit for me. I think I've had it three times, and it has consistently been delicious all times. I have yet to try their other breakfast bagels because this one is so good, but I definitely need to! Also, their smash burgers look elite, so I have to come back for lunch. My boyfriend always gets the breakfast burrito and adds bacon, but unfortunately the last time we went (probably 2-3 weeks ago) they gave him one with avocado. Imagine the look on the face of the person who got a breakfast burrito with bacon -- I hope they ate meat... Anyway! He opted not to say anything because it took almost 20 minutes to get our food. So, I will say, it can take a while to receive your meal. I like the little open food pavilion this is in, which has a lot of open seating in the middle! Overall, a great spot for a bagel and looks to be a great spot for smash burgers too. read more
The only real downside to this place is the downtown parking situation. Their bagels are fantastic, and they have one of the best rosters of schmears anywhere around. I like their service and their vibe. It's always friendly and pretty quick, and everything is super tasty. The red pepper schmear is my favorite, but you can't really go wrong. For those who don't think a bagel is filling enough, they have sandwiches with more involved ingredients. read more

lovee living downtown and walking here for a really scrumptious + hearty breakfast you can grab coffee from here if you're in a rush I like the cold brew. matcha pictured is from futuroi also like 2 hop in line there while waiting for my food at stoop kid. high quality read more

Tried this place out today for a late breakfast. And I am sooooooo happy I did! They are located at The Churchill so there was plenty of seating and misters so it wasn't super hot. I got the money shot ( yes all the names are funny ) and it was sooooo good! Although i couldn't taste the bacon jam I still loved it! I also go the black lemonade which is lemonade with activated charcoal. Sooooooo refreshing and great for a hangover!! I will definitely try this place again! read more
