Bulgoki Cheesesteak
Ursula D.

Okay, Yelpers, listen up! These sandwiches? They're not just eye candy; they're taste bud heaven. And that's coming from someone who considers bread a... well, bread. But these thick slices? They're actually good! The fillings are savory, hearty, and everything you dream of. Be warned, though - after 10 AM, the line can get a little wild. My guess? They're so good, everyone wants a piece (or two slices!). Maybe they're a tad understaffed, but seriously, take a deep breath and wait. My personal "will I be back?" meter is currently hovering around a solid 75% - and that's saying something for a non-bread-lover facing a potential line! It's SO worth it. In a crowded Phoenix food scene, Let's Toast shines brighter than a desert sunrise. Go get your sandwich fix! Return Factor: 75%

I checked out the Bao and Chicken Wing Festival in Peoria for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. Let's Toast was one of the vendors at the festival and I knew I had to check them out. One, because they had the longest line at the festival and two, because they have good Yelp reviews. Since I was trying them out at a festival, service and ambiance weren't a big part of the experience so I'll focus on the main attraction: the food. Let's Toast is known for its bulgogi sandwiches. They are a sight to behold and they taste as good as they look. First, they toast two milk Texas toasts on the grill. In between the bread, you'll find tender pieces of marinated bulgogi. And a delicious sauce. Simple yet effective. This was hands-down the best food I had at the festival and well worth the 20-minute wait. Let's Toast, I will be back.

Whoa. They were at the Arizona Bao and Dumpling Festival. Line was long but it smelled so good, I had to taste it. They only had bulgogi cheesesteaks, but my goodness. The Japanese milk bread was toasted perfectly. It had the right amount of mozzarella cheese. The egg was over easy, nicely done. The meat was cooked well, tender, and flavorful, not too salty. It wasn't overly saucy but it is messy. I literally was ready for a nap after. This deserves a 10/10. The only way this could have been better is if I was eating it on the beach with the salty sea breeze in my hair and sand under my feet. I will definitely eat this again. Makes me wish I bought more than 1 but it's a very generous size. It was shareable and I shared it with my mini.

Just came back from Arrowhead Farmer's Market. They have expanded their biz and are now dividing and conquering. Get their Bulgogi Toast for breakfast or lunch. It is amazing!!! The shaved ribeye steak marinated in that sweet Korean sauce, ooey gooey cheese and runny fried egg holds up perfectly in the buttered toast. Genius second time around!

Let's Toast is hands down one of the standout food trucks at the Gilbert Farmers Market. I tried their Korean BBQ sandwich, and it was loaded with flavor--sweet, savory, a little spicy, and totally satisfying. The bread was toasted to perfection, with that golden crunch on the outside and soft center that holds everything together without falling apart. You can tell they take their time with the details--perfectly cooked fillings, creative flavor combos, and sauces that bring it all home. Every bite was better than the last. Service was quick and super friendly, even with the crowd. They clearly know what they're doing and love what they serve. Let's Toast is a must if you're hitting the farmers market, whether you're into classic melts or bold flavors like Korean BBQ, they've got something that'll have you thinking about it long after the last bite.

AMAZING!!! We walked by the tent at first Friday and it looked and smelled so good we went back and waited in line. SO worth it! Best sandwich I've ever had. The savory meat and egg, creamy cheese and slightly sweet sauce were a match made in heaven! The line went super fast and the food came out quickly. I liked how they had it set up so you can watch them cook. They sell one kind of sandwich which allows them to go quickly and it's so delicious and big you won't want or need anything else!

soooooo yummy, got at the farmers market a few weeks ago and it's was so delicious. They always have this one person on the grill and the lines always really long i feel like if they maybe had two grills and two people cooking it may help but they try and get the sandwiches out as fast as she can. The area looks nice and clean & kept up with and they have a cute set up!! Recommend showing up earlier or towards the end because the line gets extremely long!! I showed up with a pretty short line and still waited 30 minutes, shows how good they are everyone wants them!!! People go to the farmers market just for this sandwich.

Bulgogi Cheesesteaks at the Asian Night Market 4/27/24

I attended the Asian Chamber of Commerce Night Market on Saturday April 27th with some friends. We arrived around 6:45 and thankfully the lines were short still! I knew beforehand that this was one thing I wanted to try and luckily it was near the entrance! We ordered two bulgogi cheesesteaks then came back 15 mins later to pick it up. Each sandwich is made with marinated ribeye in between buttered toasted Japanese milk bread, topped with mozzarella cheese and a drizzle of two sauces. I'm assuming the sauces are bulgogi marinade and kewpie mayo? For $16, the sandwich was a good size. I took one bite and wow! So much flavor!! It was really good. It was just a bit difficult to eat though because it broke apart a bit after the first bite or two. We ended up grabbing some forks to eat it with. Still worth it. Would definitely get this again!

Their bulgogi cheesesteak is out of this world. A truly amazing concoction of decadence. I was attending a farmers market where Let's Toast was set up and saw their set up and knew I had to have one. The wait was worth it and not too long honestly given the length of the line. They've got this down to a system. One sandwich is a meal of itself and maybe best to split between two people. A perfect combination of flavors and one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. Do not miss out on this.

The undisputed best breakfast sandwich I've ever eaten. It starts off with an outstanding Bulgogi. Add a perfectly cooked egg and cheese, then tuck it in a beautifully toasted bread boat. Finish with an incredible sauce and crema. The entire staff was awesome and were working as a team to provide these hot, fresh beauties. Located at the Uptown Farmer's market. Hope they get a brick-and-mortar.

Bulgogi, but make it brunch! Their instagram @letstoastofficial will post where they will pop-up next. Traveled to the Uptown Farmers market to try this masterpiece and it didn't disappoint! There was a long wait (30 min) but hey, this is a one person cooking show! The bread was toasted perfectly! The sandwich consisted of a fried egg, mozzarella cheese, and marinated bulgogi steak that sent my taste buds to heaven!! There is mayo and another sauce in the combo that I couldn't quite put my finger on, but none the less, absolutely delicious!

Absolutely delicious! I was lucky enough to run into Let's Toast at the Nom Nom Noodle festival in Peoria. One of the longest lines and waits for food there but totally worth it. The flavor is incredible and the chef was working her tail off the entire day. I hope to spot them at another event soon!

It felt like an unending psychedelic labyrinth! Through bushes, we spotted meat cooking on a grill. To our left was a lit up bar, the first of many. Keep walking, and soon we were surrounded by paintings. It was like a choose-your-own adventure! Go left towards art or step to the right to find a covered turf lawn with a live band. We grabbed cocktails at a variety of bars, including a Japanese inspired garden. It was like a lucid dream. We walked through an L.E.D. tunnel, passed couples sitting at elevated hexagon shaped booths, and at one point ended up in a house with a dance party. It's a unique concept. The drinks and food lines were longer than usual 10-15mins. We explored several inner sections of the venue and really enjoyed the atmosphere. It felt lively and fun, with a bit of adventure as we walked around. I'd definitely recommend this as a solid 4th or 5th date spot, great energy, social, lounge, saki bar, margarita bar and something a little different but all in one place.

From what I understand, the truck moves around to different locations, so it's worth keeping an eye out for where they'll be next. We ordered three Viva Mexico burgers and one bacon avocado burger, plus fries. The total came out to around $80 for the four of us. It's a little on the high side for burgers and fries, but the quality and portion sizes were definitely solid. The fries were a standout. They're hand cut and cooked in beef tallow, which gives them a rich flavor you don't get from typical fries. My son immediately said they're in his top three fries he's ever had, which says a lot. The burgers were big, messy, and really flavorful, definitely a little greasy, but in the best way. The Viva Mexico burgers had great flavor, and the bacon avocado burger was just as good. Overall, if you like a good, greasy burger and excellent fries, La Hambuguesa is worth trying.

My friends and I arrived about 20 minutes before the truck opened, and there were already a few people standing in line. The line moved pretty quickly, and the total time from ordering and receiving our food was only about 15 minutes. At this time, the line wrapped around the truck. The food came out hot and fresh. Filet-o-fish is one of my favorites of all time, and the filet de fish did not disappoint at all! The first bite had us levitating and seeing stars. The tartare sauce that the fried fish was smothered in was delicious and creamy, and the fish fillet itself was tender and flaky. The toasted and soft Japanese bun was the cherry on top. Simple and comforting and nostalgic, but elevated in the best way. We also tried their popular Viva Mexico, but we felt like it lacked in flavor and only tasted spicy, if that makes sense. Beef tallow fries were okay and not anything special. Great portions, however, it was still pretty expensive for a food truck burger. I'm glad I got to try this place out and will be back if the filet de fish hits the menu again, and would try their Signature next time.
