Checked out this place back in June. Love the white and blue color scheme - so pretty, a nice contrast from the desert colors around. Nice location along Grand Ave (but depending on when you go, parking may be tricky.) They offer authentic Skyr bowls, açaí, shakes, sandwiches, and more. I had never had skyr before. Skyr is yogurt's cooler, healthier cousin - higher in protein, low in fat, naturally low in sugar and lactose, and packed with probiotics. Maybe not something I would crave, but definitely tasty. And you know what else? You get free waffles (with toppings!) with your order. Had a sandwich and skyr. Food was good, I appreciated the free waffle-and-toppings deal, and I'm happy that it felt like a decently healthy meal. Love the decor. Not crowded at all when I went. I loved my açaí bowl! Skyr tasted smoother and creamier and absolutely delicious! It's right in the middle of the artsy part of grand avenue and worth a stop when you need something refreshing. What a great addition to the Grand Ave scene! I tried the Green Goddess smoothie and it was delicious! I can't wait to go back to try their bowls and other items. They have a very nice offer of free waffle and drip coffee with any purchase, and the waffle can have all sorts of toppings. I enjoyed my Skyr bowl. It was not sweet - which I really liked since often times Açaí or similar bowls are loaded with sugar. I was a bit disappointed that the skyr was rather icy, I'm used to Icelandic skyr being think and creamy, however since it was August, the iciness was very refreshing and the bowl was loaded with fruit. I'm from California and never been here before but wanted some frozen yogurt or smoothie while I figured out my next move in my spur of the moment road trip. The girls working there asked if I have ever been there and when I said no they were very helpful in explaining what it was they were serving. I decided to order a Cloudy Morning Bowl. For the uninitiated, skyr is an Icelandic yogurt. It's similar to greek yogurt in that it is very thick and protein-dense, but has a different tangy taste. We found out about this place from TikTok and since we were on that side of town we figured we'd give it a try. It's located in the arts district on Grand Ave. We walked in clearly having no idea what to order since it was our first (but not last!) visit when Unnar, the owner, introduced himself and shared his favorites. Not knowing how large the bowls are, we opted to share a Cloudy Morning bowl. Each purchase comes with a free Norwegian waffle (iykyk) and coffee. I'm glad we split one bowl as it was huge and packed with bowl ingredients and a thick layer of very filling skyr underneath. It was delicious - more a slightly sinful dessert bowl than a healthy bowl (they have those, too!). Anyway, it had skyr and oatmilk and peanut butter and oats and a mess of fruit so I still basically walked out feeling if not looking like Bella Hadid. Overall a fantastic experience and I can't wait to return to try more menu items. They've only been open a few weeks at the time of this review and are still ironing out wrinkles so please give them some grace. It's worth it, I promise. (Side note: Thor's Skyr is also a retail skyr yogurt. That side of the business counts Terry Crews as a co-founder which reminded me of his classic "White Chicks" scene. I tried this place last week when I saw someone do a TikTok review and have already gone back! They have outstanding customer service, including free waffles, and coffee daily. It's not often that you'll find places that offer complementary food. The bowls are also so delicious. I find that standard açai bowls can be a little too sugary for me, but I am a huge fan of Greek yogurt so this place is awesome. The skyr they use in their bowls is super high protein so one bowl keeps me full for lunch and dinner. It's also the sweet I crave in my day. I can't recommend this place anymore. It has not gotten the hype it deserves. If you have a chance to check it out DO IT. read more

We drove over to Grand Ave just to check this place out. The skyr bowls were delicious and huge! Definitely felt like a healthy lunch with lots of fresh fruit, granola & skyr. Employees were nice but service was a bit slow considering there was only one other couple in there at the time ( Sun afternoon ) and they were eating when we ordered.
