They had a really fun assortment to go through, from fun books and little toy or art items, to whiskey themed gifts and tons of curated cookbooks. They were running 50% off on a decent selection of items too. If you need a last minute gift, this is definitely worth checking out! I love coming to this place. I have yet to find something on the menu that I'm not fond of. All of the staff are really sweet and genuine. I love chatting with them before I leave. I traditionally order to go, and even during the busy times the wait isn't long. It's also fun to look at all the cute items they have for sale. I was given the gift card a couple months ago but didn't have a chance to go until now. I was happy to see more affordable options this time. I really like Luci's and have for a long time, but was getting upset with the rapidly rising costs everytime I went. Having more affordable options makes it an easier option for me when I'm going out for coffee/breakfast. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I really miss the old layout, where the cafe greeted you when you walked in. I have come to Luci's more times than I can count. It's one of the perks of living across the street from it haha. I love a good traditional breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and Luci's has the Big Boy Breakfast. Bacon is always thick and crispy, eggs are quite soft and delicious. I always appreciate their cooking and look forward to many more visits. My only negative take is that the coffee on more than one occasion has tasted very watered down. For reference, I tend to get an iced latte with a flavoring, and it seems to miss the mark each time. Other than that, the dining experiences always wonderful. read more

Luci's has the best dirty chai latte in the valley, in my opinion. It's creamy and well balanced. However, my only qualm is that the lids they use typically leak and drip if any liquid gets on them from the inside. The service is typically fast and friendly but was a little less so in my most recent visit. I still love the counter service style and being able to sit down inside or outside at this location. We were invited by our friend out to lunch, and this is his most favorite place to stop, so we said, sure! We met up and had a delightful time sitting at a table and getting our meal. It was delightfully busy inside, the way you know it's a good place to eat, and they were super friendly. I got an enormous salad, fresh greens, sweet potatoes, avocado, chicken the works. I would definitely order it again. The food was served pretty quickly, which I appreciate since our table had a burger, we could all eat together. It's got a great little shop inside with gifts for that friend that has everything. And fresh lemonade in the cooler. We saw books, plushes, games, coloring books, gifts for the kitchen. There was a bar area of you want to watch the game, but the eating area we chose was nice music and great for a conversation. I saw friends, couples and a gal working on her computer. I've been wanting to go back to Lucy marketplace since I was here and I look forward to it when I was there I had the green chili burger, which was delicious on a Brioche bun of course and the cheese was so good. I don't recall if it was Monterey Jack or provolone or but it was excellent cheese top. The vegetables were fresh. The fries, delicious, and hot and perfectly and everything was just absolutely incredible out on the patio, enjoying the beautiful scenery on Bethany Hall on a fantastic Arizona day. My wife and I met a longtime friend who we had not seen in some time here for lunch on Sunday. He chose this spot because it is his favorite. Said he has been coming here for nearly 20 years. Right away we could understand why he loves it at Luci's. The place was pretty packed, so we wandered through their store area - lots of fun items. Novelty toys and books, festive decorations, a whole bunch of stuff I'd call "gifts for the person who has everything." We ordered a cup of joe and a lemonade and waited for our friend. Once he arrived, we ordered at the counter. Stephanie was great and welcomed us for stopping in as she said hello to our friend - who she recognized from his being a regular customer. I got the Green Chile Burger and fries, and my wife got one of their fabulous sounding salad bowls. Our friend got a Lox and Bagel. Our food came out fast and our server was friendly. Everything was amazing. So many flavors in my burger and the fries were perfectly seasoned. My wife loved her salad, and our friend devoured his bagel. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch stop at Luci's and have bookmarked it for future meetups with our friend and other friends going forward. I drive by here twice a day since I live nearby and always said "I need to check it out." Well a year later and i dropped by for a black Cold Brew coffee. The place is really cool (and quite busy, merchandise wise) inside. Nice staff and quick to take and serve my coffee.
