My friends and I stopped in for dessert around 8pm on a Tuesday, and it wasn't very busy. There were a few different seating areas inside and some outside too. There are three ice cream flavors (vanilla, mixed or chocolate) to choose from, then different toppings depending on what you order, one size only. After studying the menu I decided to try the Fluffynutter'n which has peanut butter, banana and marshmallows. It was delicious!!! I like Nami and am a frequent customer, mostly for the soynami. Each time I've gone it's been a mixed experience, sometimes the service is good, sometimes it's not. Ultimately this doesn't matter to me as I just want the ice cream. Today I was on my way to work and decided to treat myself to a coffee. Knowing that they're vegan, I thought non-dairy milk would be included. Nowhere was I able to find which milk was included in the price- so I asked for oat milk. I was charged NINTEY CENTS (.90) for an upcharge. Rather than saying oh it comes with soy milk, or hey it's a .90 cent upcharge, the barista just added it on no questions asked. I had reviewed the menu online and in the extras it does not include oat milk, which is why I assumed it came with it. My coffee ultimately came out to $9.16. What a joke. I will definitely not be coming back here for anything besides ice cream from here on out and even that is a hard maybe. I wish more places had pricing integrity- their website doesn't reflect it and neither did the barista. *edit to add the coffee is extremely sweet and milky, tastes more like sweet milk than a latte :( read more

We love their Tsoynami's which are comparable to thick milk shakes. These are homemade with real natural ingredients. There's many options to order from or create your own. They also have a variety of homemade pastries coming out hourly; donuts, cheesecake, cookies, cupcakes, and so much more! They serve coffee and homemade organic chai!! They also have a breakfast menu which include giant breakfast burritos(several choices). They prioritize high quality ingredients because they truly care! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I wouldn't go back but i did enjoy the desserts. the matcha latte was unfortunately one of the worst i've had, it was grainy and brown. i ordered a matcha latte with agave and strawberry. And I can tell why because they have scrumptious vegan delights and vegan soft serve -- I love a good soft serve. My friend and I walked over to Nami after eating dinner at Green New American and at first we only noticed the specials above the counter, but there was a whole other menu when we got up to the front so it was so hard to decide! My friend had the chick o stick special -- I can't remember what else was in it but I think it was vegan chocolate chips? I had the chocolate cake with swirled soft serve -- that was so good I can't remember the full name I was too busy eating and getting a brain freeze to remember LOL. There was a nice buzz inside and everyone was very friendly -- who wouldn't be eating delicious sweets. By the time we left there was a line out the door and standing room only. I'm here writing again since I've been back many times since I wrote my review one year ago. I gotta say I used to be obsessed with this place but it's gone slightly down, but just slightly. I find that if I don't have great toppings/mix-ins then it's just an okay tsoynami, because there's only three flavors (vanilla and chocolate and swirl). And it's plant based so it's lighter which I appreciate but it's just different than regular dairy ice cream. I love how they have new combos to try out, most times they're not gluten free but sometimes they are! I will say I always appreciate the about of gluten free mix ins, the gluten free wafers are my favorite. They had a chocolate hard shell at one point and I loved that but they got rid of it so quickly, not sure why it couldn't stay. Their pastries are also tasty, love the cheesecake that happens to be gluten free! There's also a cookie creme sandwich that even I think is too sweet, only need a few bites of that one. All employees are always so nice. There's typically seating but if you go on weekend night, the line can get long really fast. Indie, vibrant vibes inside, it's cool. I ordered the rocky road tsoynami which was very tasty. At first it seemed like the add ins were only on the top, but to my delight they were mixed in throughout the ice cream. The service was friendly and prompt. They have the best vegan pastries in the valley, and on days when I get lucky and can find their vegan conchas, I buy 2 or 3. Their conchas (pan dulce) are so good that a friend of mine, a Latina who grew up with these delicious coffee buns, began calling them to find out which days they had them available. She says that these are just as good as the conchas she gets from the Mexican bakeries back home. Second, their cake donuts are stellar, and the red velvet vegan cupcakes are outstanding. From the ever changing and evolving assortment of tSoynamis, donuts, pastries, teas, coffees and drinks, to the local artwork adorning the walls, I always leave happier than I arrived. Everything that I had ever tried has been incredibly flavorful, and of amazing quality. Yesterday I had a chocolate monsoon tSoynami, lemon bar and raspberry danish that absolutely blew my mind. Other favorites are the peach tsoynami, donuts, cupcakes and Yankee Doodle cookie sandwich. As someone who is not vegan, but doesn't eat dairy or eggs, this is my favorite place for a sweet treat. Update Review Nami's has been very consistent with their drinks and pastries. Every time I go here, I love how they do things. Cookie Butter Bliss- This drink is seasonal. I wish they can keep this as a secret menu like Colados not far away. The main difference is they use cold brew coffee with cookie butter. I asked to add almond milk to mine. I wish they would have a larger size. Worth it for cookie butter fans that can't have dairy! The Hunk- They have been consistent with this pastry with shredded coconut. One small suggestion, the cupcakes were gorgeous at pick up, but because they are top heavy, they tipped over in transit. Could you put some spacers in the box to keep them upright? Nami specializes in vegan versions of the classic Dairy Queen Blizzard. I went with the Cookies n' Cream with vanilla. It was vanilla vegan ice cream. I believe it was coconut ice cream base mixed with Newman's Own Oreo cookies and chocolate sauce. I liked the Newman's Own cookies mixed in yet didn't care for the chocolate sauce as it masked the flavor of the ice cream. Monday morning quarterback for the Sunday game I would have had this combination without the chocolate sauce. Started that night with a not-so-small cup of the coconut and soy-based frozen dessert. It had a distinct taste of coconut, which is usually too much for me...but it wasn't. Had the chocolate and vanilla swirl. Delicious! Next was the chocolate chip cookie, followed by the "Twinkie." Wow is all I can say about the latter. My partner in crime loved Life's a Peach (vanilla soft serve with peach cobbler, house made granola, and caramel).
