I was staying in the most random part of town, and for reasons I still don't understand, my hotel did not have a real restaurant. Well... it technically did, but it was a BBQ spot and I just wasn't in the mood. So, naturally, I turned to Yelp like the modern traveler I am. After scrolling through nearby options, nothing really spoke to me... except cheesesteaks. And once that idea entered my brain, there was no turning back. I immediately thought, "Heck yeah, I'm in." Keys were grabbed. Car was started. Mission accepted. When I arrived, I noticed it was a smaller shop, but that's usually a good sign. I walked in and was immediately distracted by the pizzas displayed in the window and the massive pizza oven in the back, very promising. Then I checked out the menu and locked in my order: a regular cheesesteak with Whiz, onions, and green peppers, plus a side of fries. Simple. Classic. Correct. The fries came out first, and let me tell you, hot, crispy, and exactly what fries should be. No soggy nonsense here. Then came the cheesesteak. I asked the manager for some pepperoncini's, and instead of just handing me a few, he pointed me to this full-on condiment bar. I'm talking pepperoncini's, pickles, and a whole lineup of extras. A choose-your-own-adventure, but for sandwiches. Loved it. The cheesesteak itself was really good, flavorful, satisfying, and hit the spot perfectly. Paired with those fries, it was exactly what I needed after a long day of travel and questionable hotel choices. I will say the service was not that great and not very friendly. I felt like I was imposing on them when I walked in to the time I left. Perhaps they were all having a "moment" that day. Bottom line: great cheesesteaks, excellent fries, and zero regrets. I love cheese steaks, so had to check this spot out. They also sell pizza by the slice. I got the original. Has whiz and grilled onions. Flavor was good, it could have used more onions and definitely more cheese. Bread was super soft, not sure if they are made in-house or out sourced. Fries were really good. For the cheesesteak, fries and a drink was $20 and some change. I will go again but I'll be sure to have them add more cheese. read more

Love this place. I order cheesesteaks almost twice a month.. (Dont tell my personal trainer) They have a nice BOGO on Tuesday's. At this point I think they know me by first name. Being from the east coast I always looking for foods that remind me of home. Cheesesteaks are very authentic. They are located in a shopping mall with plenty of food options just in case your friends want something else but its worth the drive and the wait. Calling in advance is best. Im from outside of Philly and when I moved to Phoenix 18 years ago this place made me feel a little like home. Sadly I was disappointed tonight when I got the meatball parm and Italian Hoagie. The Italian was more bread than anything else. It used to be so stuffed with meat and toppings. Not worth the money. Very sad because it was one of favorites! Friends, I was in the mood for a hot crisp sandwich, so I decided to give Corleone's a try for this!! I have had the pizza here before and it's been pretty good. Walked in, smells great!!! You can smell the bake of hot Pizza combined with the grilled in action creating some appetizing food. I opted for "The Original" sandwich, toasted with Fries. First time here and I enjoyed it! I got the little Joey and it was tasty. The meat was cooked well, not too fatty, and the amount of provolone was perfect. We went after a work event at the battle room show and they took good care of all 7 of us! Definitely will need to stop in next time we're in the area and need a bite :) read more

Restaurant Ambience is a cross between Italian decor and Philadelphia deli sub shop. They serve Pizza by the slice and and the best Cheese Stake subs outside of Philly. My favorite is the Original Cheese Stake. Stake, cheese Wiz, with sautéed onions & peppers. Make sure you grab extra napkins . Order line moves you to the grill as you watch you or prepared. Seating Booth, table and window bar stool seating. If you love Cheese Stakes you need to stop in and give them a try! $/$$ read more

So disappointing! My family was excited to try a new place today but this place was not worth it! Ordered the originals to try and added bell pepper to mine. Onions and peppers were barely there. Meat wasn't super flavorful. Cheese and bread were the best part of the sandwich. Fries weren't hot and there weren't many people there so would've expected our food being fresher. My daughter got cheese fries and they were soggy and not hot. She didn't finish them. She decided to try a piece of pizza and it was horrible. No flavor. She didn't finish that either. Workers here are friendly. This store brings in more business than Chipotle on this block! Id never been here before but they have outdoor seating and they were kind enough to allow me to sit outside to eat something from somewhere else. Hey, if you want a cheesesteak go to Corleones, the boys work hard and their cheesesteaks prove it! I don't know what Philadelphia has to do with cheese sticks, but do you know the best damn things Phoenix! Get a double meat with whiz and then load up on hot, sweet and cherry peppers boom you're set. You'll know you were hungry if you can eat all of that and if not, it is just as good tomorrow. AhhhMAZing!!! Wow!! My husband and I went and tried Five Guys next door. Did not even know that this place existed 5 guys was completely dead at noon. Greasy and very disappointing. While there we kept seeing customer after customer walk into Corleones. We decided to try it. Thank you for not disappointing!! What a wonderful Philly steak sub and pizza. Quite possibly one of the worst sandwiches I have ever gotten. I was told the onions were grilled. There were some raw onions sprinkled on top of the sandwich. The bread was actually cold as if it had been refrigerated. The sandwich was seriously bland. I took 3 bites and told myself, I can't eat this. This sandwich was seriously an embarrassment to the cheesesteak world. The bag of Lay's chips and the Coke were pretty good...so there's that. The restaurant seems to be running to the light. This was a decent Philly cheesesteak. It wasn't the best ever but it is hard to find a half decent cheesesteak anywhere and this place did that. I would recommend not getting the whiz cheese though because it was very watery and it gets very messy. I would recommend provolone instead. Overall a good sandwich. I have not had a Philly cheesesteak in years! While watching a Utube video in Philadelphia I suddenly got a craving for one. To be fair I used Uber eats so I can't speak directly to the service or ambiance. Ordered what I believe is the standard WHIZ I usually never eat fake processed cheese but somehow on a cheesesteak it pairs nice for a cheat day! I went big and got an additional side of cheese and added mushrooms to the onion beef mix. Their steak is chopped which I prefer and holy cow! I got the standard size and it was two meals! Meat was so juicy and melted in your mouth mushrooms paired perfectly with it and even the half reheated the next day for lunch still tender and juicy! Got the onion rings and they were perfectly crispy but there wasn't a lot of onion in it still had a good onion ish flavor....when the craving hits again I will for sure be back! read more

So I ordered a large meatball sub with Provalone cheese. I order from there often!.. My son picked it up, the bread was hard and black. Called, they said "were are sorry and will give a credit on your next sandwich". Took our phone number.. Ok, so today I go in looking for the credit and a sandwich. Haven't been here in years and we were craving a cheesesteak so made our way to corleones. The food was good not great. I would recommend adding extra cheese if you are getting provolone as you could barely tell there was cheese in the sandwich. Overall it was lacking flavor which is why I'm giving it 3 stars.
