Holy cow! I got it to go so I can't rave too much about the decor. After a long week and my other half out of town for work I wanted some Italian comfort food! And man did I find it! I did something I usually NEVER do due to the calorie count and ordered the pasta with Alfredo, I chose penne and added chicken. When I got home I noticed it was good pieces of fried chicken which at first I wasn't too sure about but man does it work! Rich and creamy pasta sauce probably the best I have ever had. Great menu! Let's get back to pasta cooking basics. The pasta was undercooked and needed to be cooked longer. I love the BOGO pasta deal on Uber Eats. Fried okra is good. Fried zucchini needs improvement. Fried mozzarella okay. These dishes are good with kids if you need something quick and no fuss meals. I really want this place to succeed and before offering BOGO deals, please have a good cook that can work with staff in the kitchen. As for the pasta, we can still fix it by adding oat milk, cheese and a bit of water to cook it longer at home. read more

The meal I ordered thru Grubhub went to the wrong address. I went into the restaurant, explained what happened and they kindly offered to remake my order. While I waited I chatted with Grubhub and asked that they compensate the vendor and refund the delivery and tip. Grubhub did their thing. I left happy. Food was great. Got home and got this message from the mgr: "Hello, this is the manager for the Italian Spoon. You had ordered a two-four-piece catfish for delivery, and you never got it. And that is Grubhub's fault. You have to reorder it. I know they gave you a credit, but you can't come in the restaurant yelling and screaming about your order. And next time, we'll call the police. We do know where you live. You do have your phone number through Grubhub. So do not come in and make a scene about your order. You order it from a third-party company, and if they messed up on your order or they took the order or they don't know where your address is, that's who you have to deal with. So do not come back again to the restaurant, for sure. Or we will call the police next time. Thank you very much." Nothing even remotely like this happened. I went back to the restaurant, let the same guy who served me hear it, and he doesn't know why she said it either... People who threaten customers like the Mafia shouldn't be in business. read more

Delicious food with the sweetest staff. It's a quaint little restaurant with a few seats, but my son and I chose to eat in. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and my son ordered a cheeseburger kid style (without veggies lol). He was so happy he said it was better than In N Out, his favorite burger spot. My Alfredo was warm and creamy, I love that they finish it with more Parmesan and parsley. We finished our meal with a chocolate cake and it was the perfect ending. The plates aren't elegant, the restaurant is small, but the portions are large and fatty, and the workers are very friendly and will get you whatever you need. My table ordered mozzarella sticks, fried calamari, seasoned fries, beef ravioli, salad, and spaghetti and meat balls. The appetizers came in a basket, burning your the roof-of-your-mouth type hot. They were both crispy, hot, and yummy; but nothing special - a small step up from your perfectly made freezer aisle type at home. I wish they seasoned the fries more. My beef raviolis (6) were were large, tasty, and smothered in cheese. The melted cheese was stringy, i loved it. Everything was good, not bad. Service was fast and attentive. Not as good as previous orders. It took almost an hour for the delivery. The food was cold. The gyros were dry and the fries were half cooked. The cod sandwich looked like it was left over from last night. We had ordered from there several times but, the last two times have been really sorry. We will not order there again. I needed and quick and easy Sunday night meal, and I was grubby from doing work around the house so I ordered takeout and Italian Spoon was not half bad, and by not half bad I mean it was actually pretty good! I always order too much food when taking out or getting delivery from a new place, afraid if I don't like my first choice I better have a backup. In this case I didn't need it... My first choice was the chicken cutlet parm hero, it came on a really good roll and was the perfect blend of sauce and cheese! I'm glad I picked up because this has a risk of getting really soggy during delivery. It was about six inches so not huge but enough. I really enjoyed it and would order it again. My second choice was the 2pc fish and chips. I got cod and English Style for the breading. It came with fries. It was served with tartar sauce but I added a little malt vinegar at home. The fish was good quality white not grey and the flavor, well it was pretty darn good. I'd already scarfed down the sandwich at this point so I could only eat one piece. I recommend the English Style breading though. I also got a half/half side of the fried mushrooms and fried zucchini. Nothing special here, standard bar food fare but again what I could eat, cuz I was stuffed, was tasty. Feeling fat right now!! We ordered carry out from the Italian Spoon around New Years. The foo sounded absolutely to die for. I was wrong. It was barely consumable. I thought by ordering the meals, chicken parm and gyros plate it would come with a little more, nope. The chicken was hard over cooked with the cheese on top and a salad. No pasta or anything. Sandwich 5 dolars less came with fries. Gyros had 3 or 4 slices of meat with RANCH dressing. If they said it is anything but that, well thats what it tasted like. The sandwich alot cheaper didn't come with drink. Maybe they will get better but i am going to Olive garden. I didn't call and complain would not have help. The quality and service at Italian Spoon have never been less than 5 stars for us, and we have been using them for years. We ordered a few days in advance online for my daughter's birthday that was at a bring your own food wine and beer place. They were on time, the food was hot and they brought everything I needed to serve. This is the only place I know that serves shrimp and chips as well as pasta. The shrimp are always good sized and the food is always hot and appetizing. We have ordered from Italian Spoon for delivery for several years, and we've been inside the actual restaurant.
