I ended up at Corleone's Cheesesteaks in Phoenix, AZ purely out of necessity and mild desperation…read more I was staying in the most random part of town, and for reasons I still don't understand, my hotel did not have a real restaurant. Well... it technically did, but it was a BBQ spot and I just wasn't in the mood. So, naturally, I turned to Yelp like the modern traveler I am. After scrolling through nearby options, nothing really spoke to me... except cheesesteaks. And once that idea entered my brain, there was no turning back. I immediately thought, "Heck yeah, I'm in." Keys were grabbed. Car was started. Mission accepted. When I arrived, I noticed it was a smaller shop, but that's usually a good sign. I walked in and was immediately distracted by the pizzas displayed in the window and the massive pizza oven in the back, very promising. Then I checked out the menu and locked in my order: a regular cheesesteak with Whiz, onions, and green peppers, plus a side of fries. Simple. Classic. Correct. The fries came out first, and let me tell you, hot, crispy, and exactly what fries should be. No soggy nonsense here. Then came the cheesesteak. I asked the manager for some pepperoncini's, and instead of just handing me a few, he pointed me to this full-on condiment bar. I'm talking pepperoncini's, pickles, and a whole lineup of extras. A choose-your-own-adventure, but for sandwiches. Loved it. The cheesesteak itself was really good, flavorful, satisfying, and hit the spot perfectly. Paired with those fries, it was exactly what I needed after a long day of travel and questionable hotel choices. I will say the service was not that great and not very friendly. I felt like I was imposing on them when I walked in to the time I left. Perhaps they were all having a "moment" that day. Bottom line: great cheesesteaks, excellent fries, and zero regrets. If you find yourself in the area and craving something hearty and comforting, Corleone's will not disappoint.

I love cheese steaks, so had to check this spot out. They also sell pizza by the slice. I got the…read moreoriginal. Has whiz and grilled onions. Flavor was good, it could have used more onions and definitely more cheese. Bread was super soft, not sure if they are made in-house or out sourced. Fries were really good. For the cheesesteak, fries and a drink was $20 and some change. I will go again but I'll be sure to have them add more cheese.

We LOVED our dinner at DeFalco's so much we returned the next day... and the next!…read more For dinner on our first visit, we ordered the Chicago beef sandwich and spaghetti with meatballs. I highly recommend trying both, especially if you've never had a Chicago beef. The juicy beef paired with giardiniera is super savory. Damn! I'm craving it again. For lunch on our second visit, we ordered the Chief Beef special and a margherita pizza. This was, by far, the BEST margherita pizza ever! I think I've said that in another review... but for reals this time! The pizza was perfectly crispy on the bottom with just the right amount of basil to top off each bite. For dinner on our third visit, we ordered the clam linguine and an Italian beef sandwich. My husband says this clam linguine was better than the other versions he's eaten at Little Italy. The Italian sandwich was good, but not as savory as the Chicago beef. Can't wait to eat here, again, the next time we visit the Padres during spring training.

It was really busy and all the seats were full but the service for ordering was really fast but we waited quite a while to get our food. I know it was packed but felt a little unorganized. The menu is a A LOT so we didn't know what to get. Ended up getting a half each of their Italian sandwiches. It was such a good quality sandwiches and all the ingredients tasted fresh. My dad liked it a lot so thats all I care about too haha. Everyone sitting near us were getting a variety of menu options so seems like anything you get here, would be great!

Just tried this place for dinner. Outstanding food and eating-in experience…read more Their KRISPY KRUNCHY FRIED CHICKEN is FAR better, MUCH more highly superior, to any of the other fried chicken chain outlets we've tried before. Cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Excellent, fresh flavor! As it is prepared to order, expect about a 15 minute wait time for the chicken... but WELL worth that wait, as it turned out. Fries and Onion Rings sides were PERFECT, and tastier than most. Interesting, varied menu, too! Very generous portions... and the chicken pieces were real, actual sized pieces of chicken... not like the canary-sized tidbits served up by today's fried chicken chain outlets! Although the seating area was VERY small (store front operation,) the facilities were bright, clean and well maintained. The staff was welcoming, patient and most helpful as we worked our way through their surprisingly large, and varied menu! Reasonably priced, too! Overall... a happy find... and now one of our go-to favorites! Just wish they had a LOT more locations closer (to us!) Surprise/Sun City areas would benefit from having closer access to Outta Bronx sandwich/hot dog/wings/Krispy Krunchy chicken locations! I think it would catch on in no-time... assuming today's quality, and value, remained the same, of course. I'm, generally, hard to please... but Outta Bronx/Krispy Krunchy chicken seems to hit it on all cylinders! VERY pleased. Mark us down as huge fans!

Outta Bronx - A Very Disappointing Visit and an Even Worse Follow‑Up…read more We've been customers of this spot for some time, and up until now, the food has always been solid. Unfortunately, our latest experience was far from what we've come to expect. Our order was wrong from the start -- something we caught before leaving -- and we were told our food had been handed to another customer, so it had to be remade. Annoying, but understandable. The real issues showed up once we got home. The mac and cheese tasted stale and simply wasn't edible. The Reuben was another disappointment: barely any meat, what little there was had been overcooked, and the sandwich had almost no sauerkraut. When I flipped it over, I could literally see more toppings through the meat than actual meat. The only thing that resembled their usual quality was the chicken fingers. What pushed this experience from disappointing to unacceptable was the phone call I received from the owner, after I emailed their website to share what happened. My intention was to give them a chance to address the situation privately rather than jumping straight to a negative review. Instead, I spent nearly half an hour listening to the owner defend the food, insist the items we ordered weren't their "best sellers," and tell us to choose different items next time. They claimed nothing could be wrong with the food and that we should have just eaten it. They also said the mac and cheese wasn't their responsibility and told us to complain to Krispy Krunchy Chicken because they "just microwave" what they receive. When asked whether a replacement would resolve the issue, I said yes -- only for the owner to then accuse me of taking money from their family and saying they personally wouldn't complain about food they didn't like. I was told to just eat it and avoid ordering those items again. I have this all recorded. If you're going to ask whether a replacement would make things right, why turn it into an argument afterward? This could have been handled quickly and respectfully. Instead, I was told I was bothering them by emailing on a Friday night, and the entire call felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Calling a customer on a Friday night to argue is not how you keep loyal customers. After enjoying this place for some time, it's disappointing to see how poorly concerns are handled when something goes wrong. Update: I believe the response to this shows what I outlined above. I do not know this owner personally. I met them twice at the restaurant when getting my orders and both were good yet brief experiences. I also do not understand how there is fraud in contacting a restaurant, via their contact us email address, to inform them of issues you had with an order. Their call to me, in response to the email, was not a personal call and entirely business related. This simply shows that this is the type of response one can expect if they have any issues with their order.
