Best rueben sandwich ever and I have tried a lot of them. Must go back to try a few other things that looked great.

Just tried this place for dinner. Outstanding food and eating-in experience. Their KRISPY KRUNCHY FRIED CHICKEN is FAR better, MUCH more highly superior, to any of the other fried chicken chain outlets we've tried before. Cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Excellent, fresh flavor! As it is prepared to order, expect about a 15 minute wait time for the chicken... but WELL worth that wait, as it turned out. Fries and Onion Rings sides were PERFECT, and tastier than most. Interesting, varied menu, too! Very generous portions... and the chicken pieces were real, actual sized pieces of chicken... not like the canary-sized tidbits served up by today's fried chicken chain outlets! Although the seating area was VERY small (store front operation,) the facilities were bright, clean and well maintained. The staff was welcoming, patient and most helpful as we worked our way through their surprisingly large, and varied menu! Reasonably priced, too! Overall... a happy find... and now one of our go-to favorites! Just wish they had a LOT more locations closer (to us!) Surprise/Sun City areas would benefit from having closer access to Outta Bronx sandwich/hot dog/wings/Krispy Krunchy chicken locations! I think it would catch on in no-time... assuming today's quality, and value, remained the same, of course. I'm, generally, hard to please... but Outta Bronx/Krispy Krunchy chicken seems to hit it on all cylinders! VERY pleased. Mark us down as huge fans! read more

Well, this place was a little gem to find. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with smiles. We were asked immediately if we had any questions and come to find out that was the new owner. When I asked when they opened the restaurant, I was told that they had just bought it the day before... Considering they bought it the day before and how well it was run and how delicious the food was. I would highly recommend this place! The restaurant is run by the family and our very pleasant and kind. The food was outstanding! I always love a good chopped meat sandwich. We were ordering some chicken tenders and we're going to order the normal amount that we order until the owner told us they were really huge in size. Thank goodness he told us that because I was stuffed when we were done and if I had eaten anymore they would've had to roll me out the door. Chicken tenders are a must! Well, never been to the Bronx but always wanted to try a chopcheese. When I saw it on the menu I had to try it. Now on tiktok they show it the "ahki"way but That's actually in New York and he's not here in Arizona. Either way it was pretty good! After dropping my mom off at church, I was trying to find somewhere to have lunch. This is a place I've kinda heard about so I was interested to try it and it says they opened at 11. Of course I got there. They were not open yet. I think they didn't open for like 10 minutes. I tried to stay kind the guy who opened wasn't very talkative. I got their meatball sub and fries. As I really wasn't sure what I wanted to eat. Everything looked good. I feel like he did better after I got my food a little bit more talkative a little bit more friendly. The food was so delicious. The right amount of cheese. And I really like their fries. It was more than I could eat and thankful he gave me a box to take the rest home. I was only customer there, but overall the food was really good and it was delivered to me pretty fast. So overall, I would say probably a 4 1/2. read more

Was excited to try this place tonight, there was good and bad to the experience. Ordered through DoorDash and picked it up, it was ready when I got there and the staff was friendly. The Rueben was good, no "wow factor" but still a good Reuben. My husband got the chopped cheese sandwich, he said it was the same .. good but no "wow" .. both our fries were extremely soggy. THE WORST. Can't, won't give them any stars. I waited well over 30 min in the place for my order, i got tired of waiting and they didn't know how to refund me? Then he wanted to call a manager? Just give me my fuckin money back, what a waste of my time and anyone who comes in there, 15 min for 'fresh chicken' bullshit, it's dead, and it was 2 friggin pieces! I still don't have my money back, NEVER WASTE your TIME or MONEY in this place, they don't care how long you wait and try calling your 'wait' time part of the process??? I just had a Reuben there, and it was a very delicious sandwich. There was a generous amount of gooey melty Swiss cheese, lots of sauerkraut, and corned beef with a good amount of thousand island dressing. All in all, a big hot delicious mess of a sandwich, and I loved every bite. The fries are crinkle cut with some seasoning on them, and they were cooked perfectly. Both the sandwich and the fries were piping hot. The staff are friendly and quick. It's a small place, right next to a smoke shop (good for people with munchies), located in a shopping center with a grocery store and some other small shops. They have a number of sandwich options, as well as burgers and Krispy Crunchy chicken. I would definitely recommend giving them a try! read more

A New York kitchen with a love for chicken that is definitely a try if you're in the area. I had the Shroomy Swiss burger with French fries, and oh my lord, was it juicy and savory. Full of flavor, not lacking on the veggies, and perfect even after a 20 minute drive home - it was worth the $15 that I paid for. The service was great, and if anything, the restaurant itself is small, but very clearly a hole in the wall with style. The person taking my order was very chill, and super kind. Outta Bronx has sandwich specials, street fries, two salads, hot dogs, and sides... y'know if it were any closer, I'd be visiting quite often. If you ask me, the prices are worth it. I am usually not the biggest fan of heft wings, I prefer smaller wings so I didn't really like how big the wings were but I know most people don't have that problem. While it was good, and the service was great, I must say I was a little disappointed that the Pastrami was not genuine, but more of a pressed and processed version. What interested me here was that it was a deli spot that had corned beef and saw something on the menu I wanted to try. Small shop in a plaza full of other businesses and parking lot has tons of spaces. There are limited seating indoors and seats are crammed closely together. Came here for dinner and had my mind set on what I was going to order and froze when I didn't see what I wanted on the menu. The gentleman who took my order was kindly asking what was I looking for and I had asked for a pastrami and corned beef sandwich with swiss and he said he can make a special request for me. Food took roughly 10 minutes upon order and it was amazing. It wasn't overly salty but I would have added sauerkraut to complement the deli meats. Fries were crispy. do not ever go here. i need a manager or the owner to contact me. i ordered online first time, 2 empire sandwiches and i was very specific. made 2 notes specific to this order. mine is plain, no cheese, and no mayo and onion rings. 2nd order was regular with french fries and jalapeños. went to go get it and got home and it was the same sandwich in both. called and spoke to the guy at the store and he started smarting off to me. did not want to listen to me at all. went down there to show him and he refused to listen. we threw the food out and he got mad at that. i simply asked how he wanted to rectify the issue and he said we followed the ticket. did not want to listen how the website is messed up. he continued to mouth off to me and wanted to fight me and my other half. refused manager, refused owner info, refused to fix the issue. i even tried to show him how the site is. and he told me i don't have to listen to you you're not my mother. he threatened police and i told him go ahead. ill tell them how this company stole money, and services not rendered. he then called me a bitch and i had enough of it. he threw 42 bucks at us and said don't come back here ... no worries .... i won't ever support this company that degrades women, and hires people who want to start problems. he even started issues with another customer who found a penny in her pita!!! this is uncalled for. terrible service terrible employees food can't tell ya, but i do alot of reviews for companies and i'm so disappointed with this place. read more

Great Krispy chicken. Sandwiches that I have eaten here are very good as well. It's in my rotation.

The place is very small with limited seating. They offer plastic utensils, packets of ketchup, mustard, and mayo, and its nothing like the delis in NY. I think my Reuben was made with cheese whiz because it was gooey, not grilled cheese melted. Overall, the sandwich was sloppy and not well prepared. This was a first and last visit to The Bronx!! Ok, this place is a solid 3.5 stars just on their sandwiches so I had to give them 4 because they're better than 3 stars. Friendly staff, good menu, clean but very small dining area. Prices are ok, you can find these sammies cheaper elsewhere but you can also find them more expensive. I gotta say that Culver's does a decent Ruben for way less. They have coke products, but why don't they have coke zero. I had to go for an iced tea but half way thru the pour it was only clear. It had run out. Like several of their soda pop flavors. Unfortunately I have to say that this restaurant/deli was quite disappointing. We visited on Monday, Dec 23, 2024 and ordered a hot pastrami, on rye, coleslaw on the side, no cheese, add mustard, and a side of fried pickles. First issue was they were out of all rye bread and we had to have the sandwich on sourdough. Second, was their "pastrami", was not pastrami, if you've ever had a real hot pastrami, you know how it tastes. What they gave us was barely sliced beef, definitely not pastrami. Third and last were the fried pickles, they were overly oily and not much dill flavor. However, with all that said, the service was good, and there is a small modest dining area. I really wanted to love this place, but it just doesn't hit the mark. It certainly isn't like a deli in New York. read more
