Change in ownership, change to doing it "their" way loses the reason why Don's was Don's Sadly I can only say it wasn't Don's

I recently discovered this place that is only a few miles from my house. That's what I get for being in a rut and going to the same pizza place all the time. This place is nice. Standard pizza parlor atmosphere. The service was above average employees were friendly and courteous. pizza - 4 stars lemon pepper wings - 3 stars chicken marsala - 3 stars eggplant parmesan - 4 stars service - 5 stars

So meat lovers looked good but the pepperoni looks sloppy.

Their pizza is always great but the pepperoni on this order is absolutely questionable.

Been coming here for years. Always amazing eats. My favorite! I can't post on socials that I'm here without my other friends wanting to join in cuz it's soooooo good!

Pizza good . Got to pizza by the slice and there were good . The only thing is I got a side of jalapeño and they were $3.50 ... lol yeah that was right . Service was super good and fast . I was here early so it was quiet.

Pizza with $12 worth of toppings (soggy green peppers, a few sliced black olives and pepperoni). Way overpriced.

Twice in a row the pizza was below subpar for the price. $4 for each topping and there were literally like 10 sliced black olives, less than that with soggy (obviously not fresh) green peppers, and a Caesar salad (small) that was barely enough for a 10 year old. I used to love this place because it gave me a taste of home and is the closest NY style pizza that actually tatted good since Tocci's closed. Second attempt at allowing them to straighten up but will not be going back. Not worth the almost $30 even with a military discount!! Shape up Don's or you will continue to lose more business.

One of the best pizzas in Peoria! Great calzones, too. Outstanding customer service. Highly recommend.

Good pizza and salads. Higher prices than most but you come back because the food is worth it. Great dough and good sauce.

We showed up around 4:30 pm on a Monday without checking ahead, and the place didn't appear to be busy. The hostesses put us on the waitlist, and we ended up hanging out for about 20-25 minutes before getting seated. They have a decent bar area and some outdoor patio space, so it's not miserable, but it dragged on longer than expected for a casual pizza night. Once we finally sat down, though, the pizza made it worth it. We ordered 2 large sausage pizzas. The crust was thin, crispy, and perfectly charred from the coal oven, super authentic New York style vibes. The sauce had great flavor, cheese was fresh and stretchy, and the toppings weren't skimpy. Everything tasted super fresh, and the portions are generous. Service was friendly once we were in, and the atmosphere is cozy with that old-school pizzeria feel. Think NYC meets RatPack. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Would I go back? Yeah, the pizza is that good. But next time, I'll plan better to avoid the long wait or maybe do takeout. If you're in the area and don't mind a potential line, definitely worth it for real-deal pizza.

You order at the counter, and they bring the food to you. The service is great, and the paninis are amazing. I love their pizzas too, but the paninis really steal the show. My favorite is the Piccante. The mild, creamy cheese paired with sweet caramelized onions and spicy salami creates the perfect balance of flavor. I highly recommend checking it out. It is so worth it.

The staff claimed they didn't receive it but door dash adamantly stated it was cancelled by the restaurant and they could see it on their end- I emailed about this and no response. Tonight we called ahead and asked how late they took to go orders And they told us 830. We called at 815 to place an order and they told us their kitchen was closed. Same person we spoke to 1 hour prior. We called ahead to make sure to plan our dinner time. I consider this poor service now that it's happened twice and I felt the first time we were lied to and it was never addressed. Food can be great but if customer service is bad, it makes the overall experience poor. Very disappointing - as we love the restaurant and we live right in this neighborhood and love supporting our local businesses.
