Service was fine, they were friendly. We got our sandwiches to go. It was about $50 for 3 sandwiches only (plus tip) I'm not sure how much the drinks and chips are, as I didn't order them. They also have dessert options too, but I didn't order them since I already had sweets. They sell lots of flavors of Zapp's, which is my favorite brand of chips. Def recommend those. I tried the "Stevie Nicks". They said their "Dutch crunch" bread was a favorite. I tried it. He said it was going to be denser, than I may expect. Well, it was very dense. I suppose it's good to hold in the sauces, but they do also have sourdough, and I think I might actually have preferred that...it was an okay sandwich overall. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. I did have it with the lettuce, tomato and onions and banana peppers, along with some their sauce. I didn't read the sauce info beforehand closely, bc I thought the sauce combo was mid. I only needed half a sandwich, and saved the other half for tomorrow. Mini got the Chester Bennington. She said the chicken was juicy and she liked the barbecue sauce but overall the sandwich was just okay. I also bought the "rockin reuben" for the honey. He said it was a small sandwich, and it was only okay and he was still hungry afterwards and I think he was a little jelly it wasn't as big as mine. I think had a music/Arizona theme. Posters on the wall from stars from Az or Az movies. If you love the color red, there's lots of it. T-shirts on the wall, and on the tables they had info about where the selected names for the sandwiches came from. Overall, it was okay. Not a bad experience, but maybe I need to try different sandwiches. Luckily, they have lots of options.

Delicious and very huge portions for the price. I had the peacemaker with pastrami and provolone and my wife had the Oscar with pastrami and bacon

Really great menu with a multitude of combinations and some great names. Just fun debating your options. I took the boring route and got a reuben on sourdough roll. Very tasty sandwich and a fresh dense roll. Nice establishment with friendly people right next to the jazz club.

The food was fresh. The portion was huge service was impeccable and the ambience was really cool. Definitely recommend.

What a fun & delicious discovery! I found this on Yelp as it was near Home Depot where I needed to run some errands. I was delighted to find that the sandwich shop was right next to a Jazz/ Blues place!! Score! Before you go into the shop, they have a "sandwich" board outside that describes the sandwiches with their music themed names. Yay! That reduces the pressure of reading all the interesting menu items inside the shop while they patiently stare at you trying to make a decision! I'm became a fan before I even walked in! I quickly ordered (because I stood outside and made my decision) then sat at one of their tables by the window. Read the tabletop description of how the sandwiches got their name. Fun way to pass the time. They brought me a ginormous and beautifully presented sandwich. I got the Dutch Crunch bread on my First Responder sandwich. Not music themed, but a nod to our First Responders that strive to keep us safe. It had pineapple and ham with a sweet sauce. Yum! Of course, I couldn't finish the whole thing. They saw me coming to the counter and politely handed me a to-go box They are aware of their patrons and their needs . It's also next to a White Dove Thrift shop so you can walk off some of those calories as you look around in air conditioning comfort. All around great experience! I will be back! Enjoy!

    More music theme

I've eaten here twice. If you're in the area, this is where to get a sandwich. I got John (owner) to tell me more about the business and he told me about how the meat is high grade (black rated/no additives) and locally sourced. Each tuna sandwich is made with fresh individually canned tuna instead of a big tub of tuna mush. He said something about hypo allergenic seeds only, I don't remember. The guy cares about quality. I told him customers should know all of this. Other chain sandwich shops are not looking out for you like this. Not to mention the sandwiches tasted great!

Overall, there were definitely more hits than misses. The deli offers an impressive variety of hot foods. The sandwiches coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic, and there are plenty of pasta dishes and traditional Italian entrées available as well. We didn't order a hot meal on this visit, but we'll definitely be back to try one. The market section is also worth browsing. They carry a wide selection of pastas, sauces, olive oils, canned tomatoes, and other Italian staples. My only suggestion would be to expand the specialty pasta selection with options like squid ink, spinach, or roasted red pepper varieties. Of course, we couldn't leave without visiting the bakery case. We brought home an assortment of Italian cookies, a black and white cookie, a Napoleon, chocolate cannolis, and a brownie. The brownie was the one item that didn't impress us, but everything else was delicious and tasted fresh. One thing to be aware of is parking. The lot is quite small, and both we and several other customers ended up parking across the street. It's not necessarily something the business can control, but it's worth mentioning if you're visiting during a busy time. The fact that this shop has been around for decades says a lot about the quality and loyal customer base they've built over the years. Overall, we had a very good experience and are looking forward to returning to explore more of the deli offerings.

Outstanding food and eating-in experience…read more Their KRISPY KRUNCHY FRIED CHICKEN is FAR better, MUCH more highly superior, to any of the other fried chicken chain outlets we've tried before. Cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Excellent, fresh flavor! As it is prepared to order, expect about a 15 minute wait time for the chicken... but WELL worth that wait, as it turned out. Fries and Onion Rings sides were PERFECT, and tastier than most. Interesting, varied menu, too! Very generous portions... and the chicken pieces were real, actual sized pieces of chicken... not like the canary-sized tidbits served up by today's fried chicken chain outlets! Although the seating area was VERY small (store front operation,) the facilities were bright, clean and well maintained. The staff was welcoming, patient and most helpful as we worked our way through their surprisingly large, and varied menu! Reasonably priced, too! Overall... a happy find... and now one of our go-to favorites! Just wish they had a LOT more locations closer (to us!) Surprise/Sun City areas would benefit from having closer access to Outta Bronx sandwich/hot dog/wings/Krispy Krunchy chicken locations! I think it would catch on in no-time... assuming today's quality, and value, remained the same, of course. I'm, generally, hard to please... but Outta Bronx/Krispy Krunchy chicken seems to hit it on all cylinders! VERY pleased. Mark us down as huge fans!

Outta Bronx - A Very Disappointing Visit and an Even Worse Follow‑Up…read more We've been customers of this spot for some time, and up until now, the food has always been solid. Unfortunately, our latest experience was far from what we've come to expect. Our order was wrong from the start -- something we caught before leaving -- and we were told our food had been handed to another customer, so it had to be remade. Annoying, but understandable. The real issues showed up once we got home. The mac and cheese tasted stale and simply wasn't edible. The Reuben was another disappointment: barely any meat, what little there was had been overcooked, and the sandwich had almost no sauerkraut. When I flipped it over, I could literally see more toppings through the meat than actual meat. The only thing that resembled their usual quality was the chicken fingers. What pushed this experience from disappointing to unacceptable was the phone call I received from the owner, after I emailed their website to share what happened. My intention was to give them a chance to address the situation privately rather than jumping straight to a negative review. Instead, I spent nearly half an hour listening to the owner defend the food, insist the items we ordered weren't their "best sellers," and tell us to choose different items next time. They claimed nothing could be wrong with the food and that we should have just eaten it. They also said the mac and cheese wasn't their responsibility and told us to complain to Krispy Krunchy Chicken because they "just microwave" what they receive. When asked whether a replacement would resolve the issue, I said yes -- only for the owner to then accuse me of taking money from their family and saying they personally wouldn't complain about food they didn't like. I was told to just eat it and avoid ordering those items again. I have this all recorded. If you're going to ask whether a replacement would make things right, why turn it into an argument afterward? This could have been handled quickly and respectfully. Instead, I was told I was bothering them by emailing on a Friday night, and the entire call felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Calling a customer on a Friday night to argue is not how you keep loyal customers. After enjoying this place for some time, it's disappointing to see how poorly concerns are handled when something goes wrong. Update: I believe the response to this shows what I outlined above. I do not know this owner personally. I met them twice at the restaurant when getting my orders and both were good yet brief experiences. I also do not understand how there is fraud in contacting a restaurant, via their contact us email address, to inform them of issues you had with an order. Their call to me, in response to the email, was not a personal call and entirely business related. This simply shows that this is the type of response one can expect if they have any issues with their order.

New Yorker- This sandwich had corned beef and pastrami, cole slaw, Swiss, and Russian dressing on some rye bread. Pretty big sandwich. Pastrami and corned beef were tasty, albeit a tad fattier then I prefer. The cole slaw was pretty mayo heavy and goopy, I honestly scraped most of it off. Rye bread was soft, but nothing "great". I'm spoiled by Langer's and I need to tell myself that I will never find anything as good as that sandwich. Oh well......I tried. Sandwich was a 7/10 IMO.
