Tried Hot Bagels & Deli and unfortunately, it was a letdown. The place was way too crowded and way too small for the amount of people coming in. There's no clear structure to the line so you're left standing around trying to figure out who's ordering and who's just waiting. Super chaotic. I ordered the ham, egg, and cheese bagel and it was so dry would it kill them to add a little sauce or something? Honestly, it was hard to get through. On the plus side, the garlic cream cheese bagel was actually good, and the service was okay given the chaos, but overall it just felt like too much going on for very little payoff. Disappointing experience I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. read more

Meh. I didn't realize this was the same location near Sun City West which I'm also not a big fan of. This came as a recommendation while I was in the area. I did arrive close to 10 so most of the bagels were low on inventory and definitely not hot. I opted for an onion bagel with cream cheese. It was a giant Almost roll like bagel with a few onion flavoring on top. The bagel itself tasted doughy and salty. It had a good cream cheese to bagel ratio, which I appreciated. Stopped by to grab a quick breakfast on our way to Sedona. There was fairly a big line. But the line moved quick. I just tried the bagel, they had a lot of options for the cream cheese. Jalapeno cream cheese was really good, my friends tried few other interesting flavors and said everything was really good for a quick bite. This place is AMAZING. I was absolutely astounded by how good the bagels are. They are giant and so flavorful. They have so many flavors of cream cheese and different toppings. I got an everything bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese and it was so good. Service was kind and quick. They were also patient when we needed time to order. The location was small and quite busy but they got people through quickly and seamlessly. I also loved how good the prices were here. They had coffee for $2.49 and my giant bagel was only around $5! So I came here to try some bagels... But after finding out that they didn't even have half their bagels in stock, I decided to try a sandwich instead. The person at the register had some bad customer service skills. In fact, she was so dumb that she told us that rye was a bagel; so you have people working here that don't even have knowledge of bagels. They also charge you 3% just for using a credit card. As for eating in, these people decided to start getting the shop closed 45 minutes before their actual closing hours which just further goes to show the whole laziness of the establishment here. I got my food but it was average and small. My friend got one of the bagels and even said it wasn't good. All 3 of us felt that the overall employee experience wasn't good and the food just wasn't worth it. Our total bill came out to $37.29. I might as well have taken that money and wiped my butthole with it as it would have been a better use of my money. Why come to a bagel shop if they don't even have bagels? Stopped in for a quick breakfast that wasn't fast food. There is breakfast and lunch sandwiches that are served all day. They have so many different types of bagels all New York style. They also had bakery items as well that looked tasty. I ordered a Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich on everything bagel and a turkey sandwich on everything as well. The service was quick and the order was ready with 5 minutes. The bagels are huge and fluffy, really great NY style bagels. The breakfast bagel was more bagel than filling but was still good. First the positives...they were open on a holiday, were very friendly and welcoming when we came in and the place seemed very busy and popular. I guess that put our expectations too high. The food was mediocre at best. Had to be the chewiest, driest bagel I've ever had in my life. The bacon, egg, cheese bagel sandwich was all dry, chewy bagel with like nothing inside. What could have made it juicier & more edible would have been decent cheese & an egg & bacon that wasn't equally as dry & tasteless. It was so disappointing. I did notice they sell Boar's Head deli meat & it was just slightly cheaper than you usually see in supermarkets, so that's something to note. I've been here multiple times. This place has been here for years. So good. It's always busy, but service is never slow. It feels like a cute little mom & pop place. The interior is a little old, but it's "familiar" so if they changed it, I feel like it would change the vibe. You can never go wrong with the food here. Everything I've had is exactly what you'd expect and how you want it to taste. It's not super close to my house so I only go when I have some time, but you don't want to miss it. My favorite bagel there is the everything bagel. I tried the spinach as well, also very good. The bagels all have a nice chew to them, they aren't overly salty and basically the flavors/textures you'd expect from a fresh hot bagel. So good. I don't end up taking pics bc it's delicious and I end up eating them wayyyy too fast. Don't skip this place if you love bagels. They also have pastries but I haven't gotten over the bagels so I've never gotten around to trying the pastries. read more

You can order online or over the phone we like to go on the weekends when we don't want to cook but be warned the like can be long but well worth it. Recommend ordering online honestly and the email confirmation lets you know what time to pick up your meal. I really enjoy the walnut cream cheese smear.
