K-May Donuts is a locally owned bakery. They make delicious, melt in your mouth, taste buds dancing happily donuts and savory breakfast Sandwiches. My fiancé chose the wrapped croissant dog with jalapeño and cheese. I chose two donuts-the toasted coconut and a sugar covered donut. I made mine a combination with a medium hot coffee. The service and our delightful breakfast made our day. As I write this, it's Tuesday, January 13th. I recommend trying them if you haven't because K-May Donuts and Bagels is a hidden gem. My husband and I stopped in at this little donut and coffee shop after our doctor's appointment. We were so surprised by the quality of the food and drinks. I had the Vietnamese Iced Coffee (perfection, not too sweet), and my husband had the Honeydew Melon drink (sweeter). I ordered a simple plain bagel with plain cream cheese. I have to say that was one of the best bagels I've ever had. It was light and fluffy, not heavy. Perfect amount of cream cheese. The donuts are delicious with lots of flavor and a large variety. My only recommendation would be that they open it up for dining so that you can sit and enjoy your treats and coffee. The owners were so kind, and they were quick for being so busy. K-May's are well proofed yeast donuts. Yeast donuts are so incredibly light and airy. They have to be held lightly as to not be crushed in ones hand. Cake donuts are more diminutive in size, while being much more substantial in weight. Those eat more like a meal. Their is a gentle crispness to the outside of the donuts. Donuts are sweet yet still a little bready. Many different flavors and flavor combinations to choose from. More than just donuts. Stopped by on the way home to grab some donuts for the boys and a bagel for my daughter. It's located right off grand and from the outside does not look so appealing. The sun faded signs and interior needs some updating. However, what really matters is the customer service and food! Was greeted with a friendly "good morning!" There are your standard donuts, donut holes, kolache, drinks. They only have plain bagels and plain cream cheese so went with one of those and a few glazed and sprinkle donuts. It was only $7 for everything which is pretty dang cheap! The kids said the donuts were so good and fluffy. My daughter loved the bagel and it was warm and fluffy as well. I've been craving Boba and when I tell you this is the best Boba I have drunk it is so good I think it is called the Tiger bombshell Boba and I got flavored Boba tea. Decent little donut joint in the middle of what looks like the apocalypse. Let's start from the beginning. The GPS that directed me to the location had me take a left into a strip mall that looked like it had been hit with a cruise missile. It looked absolutely devastated by time and general urban decay. I ended up in a gravel parking lot surrounded by abandoned structures and a tiny Mexican church. The abandoned buildings were covered in plywood and I couldn't ascertain how long they'd been empty, but they looked like they'd been in that state for several years. Outside one of the buildings was a Kia with two men sitting inside staring at said abandoned building. Bit odd. The general area just looks very dilapidated and somewhat unsafe. Then I entered the donut shop. And wow was it cramped. Not because the location is small, although it might appear so from its exterior. No, the reason why it's cramped inside is because the geniuses running this place have half the restaurant cordoned off for COVID safety reasons. They don't want anyone dining indoors for fear someone might get sick, so instead they've decided to cram as many customers as they can into one tiny space where you have to wait to order. There's barely enough space to form a line. It makes no sense, nor do the silly plastic barriers they still have up, but hey you guys go ahead and keep doing what you're doing. I'm sure it's great for business. As for the service? It isn't fast. It ain't even that friendly. The food? Well when I got there there were only four kolaches left, but they were pretty darn good. The donuts seemed to make everyone happy as well. But be warned: when I got there at 8:30 AM most of their inventory had been wiped out. Show up early or cry later. read more

Great Mom and Pop donut shop. They have everything I like from apple fritters, to ham and cheese croissants, a huge array of donuts, you name it. I have come twice so far with my kids. So my favorite donuts is the Boston cream and I have to say they did an amazing job with putting enough cream because I feel sometimes that I have not enough and I would rather have a good amount or a lot and they definitely gave me plenty. The place is in a horrible area--where's all the money the city was going to spend in upgrading this area?--but the doughnuts are a dream come true.
