Really enjoyed the bagels at Bagelfelds! I tried the Asiago cheese bagel with salmon cream cheese, and it was so good. The bagel was warm, chewy, and the salmon cream cheese went perfectly with it. I also tried the blueberry bagel with honey butter, which was such a good combination. The blueberry bagel was lightly sweet, and the honey butter made it even better. When I tell you this is the best bagel spot in all of Phoenix, I'm not lying! This place is always busy and the quality of their food never take a backseat. The parking is limited, but cars come and good quite quickly. It's a small location, but they make the most of the space with a waiting area inside and outside. The menu is simple, which I appreciate. I alternate between a plan bagel with brown butter spread and an everything bagel with salmon lox. Finally got to try out Bagelfeld's and wow was it fresh and delicious! I was a little nervous because I know places like this with strict rules can be a bit rude and intimidating to its customers. But they were surprisingly so kind and patient, especially since there was no crowd. I also found out that they have dairy and egg-free bagels, which is great for my allergy kiddo. What an amazing little hole in the wall spot! As someone who often enjoys bagels, the huge chewy everything bagel with cream cheese I got here was perhaps the best I've ever tasted. Not only was it fresh but it had the perfect balance of soft interior and chewy exterior. I'd heard there again tomorrow and grab a bag full to take on the plane home but alas, they are closed on Mondays. How it works: it's a tiny spot in a weird out of the way old warehouse. Look for the sign on the Main Street, turn down the side street and park then follow the steady stream of patrons. Enter on the door to the right, place your order, pay and wait outside for your number to be called. It wasn't too busy when we got there around 8 on Sunday morning so it wasn't too busy only like 5 minutes to get the food. There's a small cooler with a few bottled drinks and they also were selling cookies on the counter (yummy) but it's just about the bagels. It looked like there was maybe 10 or so varieties but as they sell out the woman staffing the counter had to get up on a small ladder to put black tape over the varieties. I heard obtaining bagels from this establishment is quite difficult. They run out early. So, I went at around 8 AM, and I recommend anyone else doing the same. The building itself is tucked away behind some automobile shops. Their parking is a little difficult to find. If you pass the road entrance on accident, there is street parking off to the side, which is what I did. There are a lot of customizations. I ordered the Fix'd up bagel with two different cream cheese split 1/2 + 1/2 option. I chose an asiago cheese bagel. My spreads were the pepper and garlic cream cheese as well as the smoked salmon, cream cheese. The bagel itself: fresh-tasting, had a good crunch to its outside, definitely good quality Pepper and garlic cream cheese: light, maintains a good regular cream cheese flavor as a base, which I enjoyed Smoked salmon cream cheese: I thought I would like this one, but the spread made me feel like I was eating a slab of salmon instead of cream cheese. I also look for the taste of regular cream cheese within any specialty spread, and the salmon flavor was overpowering. I did not enjoy it, but if you like salmon, it might be up your alley. They are so fresh that over toasting them made them hard. I also ordered their berry spread. First lick (no judging please, I admit that I have a dull knife for spread and cream cheese) is refreshing because it's not artificially sweet. It took half a bagel to get used to, but I actually like it more now than the store bought strawberry one! Wow-these have to be the best bagels in town. My boyfriend and I went here early Sunday and it did not disappoint. We got a blueberry bagel with mixed berry cream cheese and a plain bagel with avocado spread- Both of them were delicious. The bagel is crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside, just like the ones in NY. These are definitely just like NYC bagels. I'm so excited to have a great bagel spot so close by. I accidentally woke up extra early this morning and made the impulse decision to finally make my way over to Bagelfeld's - and it was the best choice I made all week. This little shop is behind a building which makes it hard to locate, but there is plenty of parking. They sell authentic NYC style bagels with various house made cream cheese flavors and they all sounded so enticing. After a few minutes of deciding, I opted for the everything bagel (my go-to) and lemon and herb spread. Just wow. Superb. The bagel itself was chewy and fluffy and thick, which I am a fan of. The lemon herb was super refreshing and they packed it up! Definitely not a bagel connoisseur nor have I had a NYC bagel before myself, but I would say this was a pretty solid and delicious bagel. Probably one of the best bagel shops in Phoenix. It's a small, no-frills spot tucked behind a small shopping plaza with just a bench for seating. I came shortly after lunch and they had already sold out of most bagel varieties, which says a lot about how popular they are. I ordered a plain bagel but ended up with sesame after the cashier suggested it--still good, so no real complaint there. So so so so so good! I was in town for work and my coworker brought be one each day. I could not get enough!!!! So envious of anyone who lives close! She first brought blueberry. Gem, because it's so good and I had no idea it existed! I'd never had "New York style bagels", so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it's hefty! My weakness is bread and so when I slathered on the honey brown butter, I seriously got the goosies! We love Bagelfeld's and we treat ourselves to a bagel with cream cheese to go along with a bag of half dozen with a tub of cream cheese once every few months when we are in the area. The flavor of the bagels and the cream cheese is so good. That said, we have had a few experiences with over-baked bagels. The first time was not a big deal as we were given an extra bagels in our bag. However, the time after that everything looked great until we got home and found 2 extremely dark over-baked bagels on the bottom of the bag. They tasted burnt and was such a disappointment. This had never happened, until it did twice in a row. This won't stop us from returning, but we definitely check the bag of bagels before we leave. *Tip...WAY too much cream cheese on the to-go bagel, so I bring an extra container and a knife to remove some and save for later. read more

First, I'll say the bagels here are absolutely delicious, probably some of the best in the city. Now here are the problems with this place. Countless times have I driven here just for there to be a sold out sign in front because they dont give that info on their website, or they dont answer a phone. The bagels are good so I understand they might sell out but the fact they only give that info with a physical store front sign is extremely annoying and inconvenient, especially considering theres usually a 50/50 chance theyre sold out early every day. Finally the nail in the coffin for me was when I walked in on a Saturday morning and was told they cant prepare single bagels w cream cheese on the weekends anymore because theyre too busy while I was literally the only customer in the place. the bagels are great but this place has become too much of a hassle to deal with. Not a single customer there but me. 4 of the workers just standing by the register hanging out, one of the guy workers is telling a story for 3-4 minutes while I stand there waiting to order. I went to Bagelfeld's in Phoenix this past Thursday and had the worst experience I have had to date at a food establishment in my life. I ordered a dozen bagels and they charged me $40. On top of that... they were hard, cold, and completely inedible even for Arizona (which is saying something). Growing up in New York I not only know what is a good bagel but also what a expensive bagel is. It was about 9:45 a.m. on a Tuesday, only a few people waiting in line which was not bad at all. The service was excellent, very friendly. We ended up buying 5 bagels to go: Everything, Poppy and Salt bagels and an Everything Bagel with Salmon Cream Cheese. The Bagels were excellent, covered with seeds and salt, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. To note they do not have a toaster to toast bagels, but they were warm anyway. We saw this business on TikTok and just had to take a drive to see for ourselves what the hype was. If you blink you're going to miss it driving down Thomas road. Got there around 8am, small line outside to place your order inside. Loved how they had a pop up tent for shade and watering station to hydrate. We got 2 bagels with cream cheese and 1 plain. Tip- they don't toast bagels, but to heat them thru. Honestly I've not had a better bagel since I was visiting in New York / New Jersey area and their cream cheese was different, but in a good way. First off, using navigation to find the place, I was a little confused because I didn't immediately see the establishment. I drive around behind a building and then saw it. Parked, and, as a first-time customer, was daunted by the signs explaining how to order and get out of people's way when it's busy. Thankfully, I stopped in when there were very few customers there, and was able to wander in and take my time figuring out my order. The shop is small, with a tiny lobby and small ordering area and then the kitchen and that's it. I chose a plain cream cheese and three bagels. I brought them to the office for my coworkers so I personally only got to try the blueberry, but I think everyone else liked theirs too. The blueberry stood out to me for the large amount of cornmeal on the bottom and the large amount of chunky sugar on top. I loved the sugar.
