I had been eyeballing Arizona Bagels n Bialys for a while because I had seen it on Too Good to Go. It's a little bit of a drive for me so it took me a while to finally pop in and I am so sad about that!!! The owner Dina and her husband gave us the walk through of all their items and explained how everything is made fresh daily with no preservatives. The Too Good to Go spread was SO incredibly generous with quantity and variety. We sampled 8 different items in the car because we couldn't wait to get home (lol!). The texture was firm and chewy but soft and airy - perfect! I will definitely be returning to try some of the sandwich options and to visit with Dina again.

Absolutely the best bagel breakfast sandwich I've ever had! Bagel so delicious and fresh. So many wonderful options. The garlic cream cheese is amazing. Service was fast and friendly. This spot is New Yorker approved! I will be back.

Amazing breakfast sandwich at Arizona Bagels n Bialys with cheese, bacon and egg. Well cooked and nice and warm that it hit the spot. The bagel was nice and soft. The sandwich was filling and delicious.

Love this place! When I crave a bagel, this is where we go! Awesome, friendly staff. Small, welcoming shop. That makes you feel like you're in a deli in NYC! It's like grabbing a bite to eat with old friends. Bagels are big, cream cheese is homemade and sandwiches are generous. Delicious!

The NY'er in me screamed Toasted Sesame Bagel with Butter and Schmear when I walked in, but I was adult held my composure and ordered fresh bagels and Bialys to take to my dads house for lunch. He already had the cream cheese and lox ready! Great bagels love the consistency density flavor and bite! Come early if you want a loaded bagel aka sandwich! Im a simple gal i just needed it toasted with butter and cream cheese and lot of both to run off the sides of my mouth! Great service small seating area! Friendly staff and wonderful neighborhood bagel joint!

Smoked Salmon Bagel

I've been obsessed with smoked salmon bagels recently so when I saw AZ bagels n bialys offered it I had to stop by! The staff were extremely friendly and even came to check up on me while I was eating my bagels outside! The bagel it self was pretty good. I love that you can customize everything at no extra cost! I definitely want to come back and try other bagel combos!

It was our first time here and the cashier was so nice and explained the breakfast and lunch options to us. We ordered an everything bagel breakfast sandwich and an everything bialy breakfast sandwich. So so delicious and fresh! You can tell from the inside that this is a local favorite!

Egg and Sausage on a bialy

Stopped by Arizona Bagels and Bialys for a quick breakfast bite. The friendly service made ordering easy and relaxed. We loved the casual atmosphere -- it made us feel right at home. I had the Nova, which comes with smoked salmon, capers, onions, tomatoes, and cream cheese. I chose a jalapeño bagel -- very good! My wife had the egg and sausage on a Bialy and she really enjoyed hers too. We sat outside on the small patio. Funny moment: the owner accidentally bumped our table with his dolly -- not a big deal at all--but a moment later, he brought us a giant cookie as a kind gesture. That's customer service at its best. All in all, it was a great experience -- and we'll definitely be back. Saluti!

Turkey club on Asiago bagel

Wow!!! First time in here and the owners were so nice. I was given the breakdown of the menu when I mentioned it was my first time in and told about the rewards program. I love supporting local especially when the food is awesome and customer service is amazing! I got the turkey club on Asiago bagel. The sandwich was delicious, fresh, and loaded with great quality ingredients! I will say you get a lot of bang for your buck for the amount of turkey among the rest of ingredients that was packed in my sandwich. Will be back again :)

I was there before work with my puppy. Loved what I saw when I walked in! Enjoyed the service and the everything bagel that I ordered with plain cream cheese and lox and the works. It's been. 5 long years since I've had a bagel this tasty! Oh the apple cinnamon cake is pretty tasty too! I'm only in the area one day a week and I think this is gonna be my regular stop for a while!!!

Looks ok

Not much has changed since last visit. Ths produce on my Turkey Club was in miserable condition with wet amd mushy tomatoes, old onions and wilting lettuce. Napkins and utensils were not included and neither was the bag of chips or a pickle. Sad place.

Everything Bagel, western style egg/sausage, pepper jack cheese with jalapeno cream cheese

This morning I was craving a good bagel with cream cheese. Found this place close by on my way home. Not too busy when I showed up. Plenty of parking. Nice staff. I ordered an Everything Bagel, western style egg/sausage, pepper jack cheese with jalapeno cream cheese. Wow! Delicious. The staff asked if I wanted full of half the cream cheese. I opted for the half and glad I did because it was just right. Every bite was crispy from the bagel and savory with everything else. This might be my favorite one so far! I'll have to come back and try other cream cheese spread combos!

The restaurant itself gives off more of a farmhouse-y, homey vibe, as opposed to a traditional, vintage diner. All the same, it was a comfortable place to get a bite. The portions were generous and I quite enjoyed the Southern Breakfast that I ordered. The Southern Breakfast consisted of sausage patties and eggs atop a biscuit and smothered in country gravy. It was a hearty meal and also delicious. I sampled a bite of my sister's pancakes as well and they were incredibly tasty. Our server was so sweet and knowledgable on the menu. OK.. Finally decided to give this place a try…read more Nice cute restaurant with cool decor, and friendly staff. Note to self, Friday night I guess it's karaoke night. Don't say I didn't warn you . I didn't care to listen to the music while I was eating. Ordered fried cod fish special and chicken fried steak dinner (since they don't do breakfast). Fried fish was nice and crispy. Came with coleslaw which I thought was pretty good and fries were nothing special just crinkled fries. My chicken fried steak was decent size, nice and crispy. The mash potato and gravy was OK. Gravy could have used more seasoning, I don't ever put salt on my food but I was tempted. But mixed with fried steak balanced it out little bit. I also opted for soup of the day which was Albondiga. Soup was not quite Albondiga but it wasn't too bad. Over the atmosphere was nice minus random people singing. Food was for me just ok, lacked in flavor. I would give this place 3 and half but definitely not 4 worthy for me. I probably won't come here again.

Per my usual, I tried the chilaquiles. I forgot to request the brisket and I really feel that addition would complete the dish. The chilaquiles were crispy, dipped in a red sauce, on a small bed of beans. The egg was nicely cooked. The one thing I did not enjoy was that they were cold. I would go back and try something different. The biscuits looked amazing. Service was very friendly and professional. The morning we visited was early and was not very busy. I'm not sure if it would be a loud environment on a busy day.

It feels very hipster and very retro and it just has so much personality. There is a lot of outdoor seating in what is essentially a front yard. There are tables and string lights and lots of trees and there are even a couple of playground horses. When you walk in there is a hostess desk kind of pieced together with different pieces of furniture and above it is a turning disco ball. Could there be anything better? There are booths all the way around, and there are no tables - - but you can sit at the long counter and watch your food being made. That really is the best place to sit because it is so interesting to watch them. It's amazing to me that they can keep all those balls in the air and still make all this food so delicious. There is a small bar off to one side. Make sure you go to the bathroom. The bathroom is nothing special, just a room full of graffiti and stickers, but if you look up you'll see the ceiling covered with little pinatas and a little donkey in the hallway. The menu is just what you would think for a diner menu. You can order breakfast or some sandwiches, burgers, Mac and cheese, and there is a selection of dinner entrees. Sitting at the counter we saw a plate with a steak being prepared and it looked absolutely fantastic. We were not really very hungry, and just wanted a quick small bite. Have you got that Welcome Burger, and I got the Sasha. Hubby said his Burger was good, although it was quite small. The Sasha has smoked pork and they put the pork on the grill and it becomes a crispy kind of Patty of shredded pork, then they put the crispy shredded pork patty on a noble bun with coleslaw and a fantastic horseradish sauce. My sandwich was a 10 out of 10 for sure! I kind of feel like in Phoenix there are some areas that you can go to or not, but welcome diner is a place that everybody should go to at least once. I really want to go back for breakfast which is kind of shocking because I'm not a breakfast person.

I have never felt as unwelcome at a restaurant as I did during our visit to Welcome Diner…read more I arrived with three friends and two dogs, encouraged by the dog-friendly patio. Before we could sit down, a waitress abruptly warned us that rain was expected in three minutes, that the dining room had no available seating, and that pets were not allowed inside. We decided to take our chances, retrieved our own menus, and sat outside. More than 10 minutes passed without anyone acknowledging us, despite staff serving other customers. My friend even tapped on the ordering window and was ignored. When the same waitress finally returned, I asked for a Bloody Mary, and she appeared noticeably disappointed that we had decided to stay. Her response was an incredulous, "You're staying???" We explained that we were willing to take our chances with the weather, at which point she informed me that they were out of Bloody Mary mix. I then requested waters. Another 10 minutes passed before she dropped off the waters without taking our order. After another 10 minutes without service, we left, having spent approximately 30 minutes feeling ignored and unwelcome. We found a much better experience across the street, where we enjoyed attentive service, delicious food, and a welcoming dog-friendly patio. I understand that weather, seating limitations, and restaurant policies may be beyond a server's control. How guests are treated is not. For a restaurant called Welcome Diner, the irony was especially disappointing.

Today, May 16th at VI on Signal Butte - rough start by a waitress who told both of us "I need to know your pie order. NOW." Resturant was not busy. Not at all. It was 4:15 maybe. Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? I left it and hope someone there stopped to think "Why?" Our Waitress tried to make up by suddendly being nice when she walked behind me with a second piece of pie ...to go home. Thanked me for being agreeable or something. I nodded. I remember this saying if you l oh someone's attention the first three seconds and first three steps you'll spend the next 30 min trying to make them believe you're hiring. It's true. I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. Because I see people come in and sit down I see how tired they are and make quick calls to be able to turn their day around if only for a short time before they return home....to being a caregiver or to grieve a loss.
