I have been to Sidewinder Subs many times, and it is among my favorite places for sandwiches. My family and I come here often whenever we are craving a delicious sub sandwich in our area. It also helps that we live less than ten minutes away. Their sandwiches are some of the best sandwiches I have had. Not only do they taste good, but their ingredients are fresh. I also like how fresh the bread tastes. While I do not remember if I have ever had any of their side dishes, I will have to try them next time I visit. I also like that the menu has a vast variety of sandwiches, sides, and other things, such as cookies and drinks. I appreciate how friendly and patient the service is. They are willing to offer suggestions and are patient whenever you need time to decide what to order. The atmosphere is pleasant and low-key, with plenty of televisions to watch sports. They also have an arcade game system in one corner near the entrance. Another thing I like is their reasonable prices for their high-quality food. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent place for sub sandwiches in the Phoenix area.

Craving for a sub? Look no further! Sidewinders has the best subs in the east valley hands down. Don't be surprised if you see a line when you walk in- especially at lunch time. Upon entry, you'll see a chalkboard menu with everything they have to offer. Even beer on tap! Service is always amazing, quick & friendly. The menu has a huge array of subs, some salads, wraps & and few fried up favorites such as fries & cheese sticks. My go to is always the toasted turkey & cheese. A simple classic, yet packed & loaded with meat and flavor. Sidewinders is always great at packing up a full sandwich. They don't skimp out on anything! They also offer a diamondback sub meal which is somewhere in the neighborhood of about $6! You can't find that anywhere nowadays. A local neighborhood favorite that will have you coming back for more. Be sure to check their hours and note they are closed on Sundays!

I have had unfavorable service by the short rude guy behind the counter on more than one occasion, but this time I'm taking the time to post and most likely won't go back after several years. We ordered subs to go using the online app today/ not cheap $12.99 per sub but at least they included chips it stated. When I got there and went to get them the rude guy was very happy to announce and embarrass the heck out of me in front of everyone in the store that chips WERE NOT included... I wanted to crawl under the table! I thought the cops were gonna pull up ! Honestly I was not going to steal 2 bags of chips! Check for yourselves- are you reading what I'm reading .. "And chips" !!! Goodness - customer service really is a thing my guy!!

GUYS don't sleep on this sandwich spot!!!! Everything is SO FRESH! Crisp bacon, ice cold deli toppings--you can taste the difference! My hubby & I split the 17" club, no tom, add banana pep and it's just SO YUM. Don't forget the chocolate chip cookie! They're soft and delicious. You won't be disappointed.

Really good subs. The only complaint is that the bun could easily hold 5 meatballs, but they only give you four. So you have bites that are bread-only. But the flavors are good, and they offer fries (not just chips). Their fries are nothing fancy, but they are fresh and good. I like this place. I just wish they would give you that 5th meatball so you don't end up with two bites on either end that are only bread and sauce.

I absolutely dig this place. The sandwiches are fantastic and so is the friendly service. The sandwiches are always packed with meat and fixins. Great quality ingredients as well which sometimes you dont see in sandwich shops. This is a gem and its locally owned . 10/10

    Club Sub

People and food are always the great. Subs are literally the best and I especially love supporting local businesses.

    Steak And Cheese Sub

Walked In During Afternoon Hours, Not Too Busy At All! Had the steak and cheese sub with everything on it + combo with a drink and chips. The environment/atmosphere was very clean and welcoming. They offer salads, wraps & Subs as well as bottled/draft beer. Would definitely come again for lunch! Highly recommend!

It didn't take very long for our orders to be prepared. It was promptly delivered to our table. The first thing I noticed was the lack of meat in my Berliner. It didn't come close to the amount of meat I saw in several photos on Yelp. After I bit into my wrap, all I could taste were the vegetables. It took a few bites before I tasted just a hint of meat. This was very disappointing. I was meat hungry and I wanted something healthy with a good portion of meat. I wasn't getting it here. A total letdown! The first thing my wife commented on her Street Car donor was how dry it was. Where was the sauce? She had to ask for tzatziki sauce. I took a bite of hers and at least she had more meat than I had. She told me I could have her other half. She was impressed to say the least! Did we come on an off day? Was there someone new in the back? I suggest they weigh out the meat each and every time to keep it consistent. It was not the experience we were expecting! Did anyone experience something similar?

Everything else was terrible. And please note by my reviews that I'm an easy grader. Went with my uncle for lunch. We each had the three meat plate. I chose fattier brisket, pastrami and ribs plus two sides. This came out to ~$36 each. Total bill for the two of us was over $100 by adding drink, cookie, tax and tip. My uncle got kielbasa, brisket and pastrami. Our guess is that the food is brought in sealed and they microwave or use some similar reheat method and do no "cooking" there. All of my meats were beyond dry. It's really hard to convey how dry. The ribs were the biggest terror point since not only was it as tough as leather but it tasted like it was doused in iodized salt. My uncle's plate was not any better. The kielbasa was sliced and overcooked so badly that the sliced edges were burnt and frayed - you've got to really try hard to screw up preserved sausage. I could only do a few bites and threw it all in the trash. They were getting busy and I was not going to stand back in line with trays of food to broach the problems. They make sure to ask for a tip at time of order but there's no service for quality control. My uncle texted me later in the day: "Today's restaurant was such an awful choice for BarBQ. I can't remember when I had worse. We have to go to a real good one next time." It is crazy how bad this lunch experience was and a rarity that Yelps score misses the mark so badly.
