It's St. Patrick's Day, and I was craving corned beef, so we decided to stop by Jason's Deli. It used to be one of our regular spots, and after tonight, I'm honestly wondering why we ever stopped going. From the moment we walked in, the employees were welcoming and genuinely friendly, which set a great tone for the visit. I ordered the corned beef and pastrami on marble rye, and it did not disappoint. The meat was high quality, flavorful, and the portion was very generous--I could only finish half. My husband had the spicy BLT, and it was just as impressive in both quality and size. Each sandwich comes with a bag of Ruffles and a pickle, which is a nice touch. What really surprised us was the price. Our total bill was very reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes and overall quality. Ordered food Via Door Dash however this is. Jasons Deli issue with food quality. We ordered a Club Royale and a NY Yankeee The order arrived quickly but the food quality was unacceptable. The club royal had paper on the cheese. I mean really paper in the sandwich see pic. This is more than careless preparation. The NY Yankee is a 20.00 Sandwich and they made it on marble rye that was stale and hard. It was impossible for them to not know that the bread was stale and hard. The order was at 10:15 AM so it was not a situation where it sat out long enough in the day to get hard. This had to be yesterdays stale bread. I have to ask who does this? Do they think the customer is going to find this acceptable? Paper on the cheese and stale bread on a 20.00 sandwich. There is genuinely no excuse for this and who ever prepared this food needs to be either reprimanded or terminated. You have one job and that is to make a quality product. If things like this are happening it makes me wonder what other corners are cut and if there is actually any manager overseeing quality and safe practices! I've heard of Jason's Deli but have never tried it. As we were trying to decide what to eat last night this was tossed out as an option. My friend cleverly and casually mentioned they had a Dill Pickle Grilled Cheese sandwich, so this became our destination....I needed to taste it! I might have a slight addiction for pickles...bean and cheese burritos, and a few other foods (please don't send help). The staff were very cool and super nice. Always a plus in my book. You order at the counter and take your number to your table and your food is brought out to you. The store was clean and huge inside. We got our food rather quickly. I loooved the sandwich! Never thought a dill pickle in a grilled cheese sandwich would taste good but obviously I was excited to be completely wrong. I could have slammed 2 or 3 more. Stopped in for a Sunday evening dinner around 7pm. Restaurant was moderately busy. This must have been an off night. Ice tea was out however they quickly made a new pot. Many dirty tables in the dining area. The salad bar was good with the exception of the gingerbread muffins. There were only a couple there and they were old. Pricey for food that was almost inedible; the soup was disgusting, the sandwich looks like it was made by a six year old. They didn't communicate clearly about the salad bar. Food was tasty with many options available. Sad not to get a pickle with a deli sando but chips were included and they piled the corned beef to the stars !!! Soup was Spicy gumbo and it packed some heat! Lots of okra and sausage with good flavor and s bit of white rice grains. They had a great assortment of beverages and iced teas. A salad bar . The service was great excellent. The ambiance was family friendly and tables were spaced out far enough to give you some space. And for dessert they have free soft serve ice cream ! This should be your go to spot for lunch. Everybody needs a quick place to get lunch and this is exactly where you get it. They have you in and out and the service is so fast you blink your eyes and your lunch is in front of you, there's a wide variety of sandwiches, soups, and yummy desserts to choose from But you must take a visit to the salad bar because they have everything you want there. It's a fun friendly environment to get a quick bite, but it is also extremely kid friendly, which I greatly appreciate plus free ice cream for everybody. What's not to love read more

I remembered that Jason's Deli still has a salad bar and I remember that the food was really good as well. There isn't one close to where I live so I decided to make the drive. First off, I love Jason's Deli. When it comes to consistent quality, they're one of the best. Great food, the same portions, etc. overall a great place. However, I recently had an issue while ordering through DoorDash. Hard to say if it was the driver or the place, but we had missing items two days in a row. In anger I called the store, and ended up talking with the manager Jonathan. Let me tell you, I wish more restaurant managers were like him. Polite, professional, understanding. Listened to my issues and immediately resolved them in good ways. I ended up coming into the store, and not only did he correct the error, he went above and beyond to compensate for the mistakes that had happened. Overall just a perfect example of how a manager should handle situations. I wish more employees were like him, Jason's Deli should be proud to have an employee like him. read more

Our hunt for good corned beef and pastrami continues Today we stopped at Jasons deli to try there and pastrami sandwich. The New Yorker, 3/4 pounds of meat come served on marble rye lightly toasted. The bread was relatively good with the light toasting. The meat looked plentiful, was very lean, and was quite tasty. The center was warm unfortunately the edges were cool. The next time we will order and ask for it extra hot, temperature not space. It came with the appropriate brown mustard, although they did ask if we wanted mayo which seems a bit sacrilegious. It was served with a side of chips, no pickles. Overall, compared to a A sandwich from New York/New Jersey this would rate as an eight. Probably the best we've had so far in the valley. The hunt continues for even better. But we will be back because this is the best we've had in the two years of searching. This was the worst visit to date. Guillermo was the Manager on duty. This has been one of our favorite locations. Not on this visit. We had family with us to enjoy the food we like. We ordered to go because we had kids with us. It was like they forgot about us after we ordered. Similar food for eat in guests were delivered as we watched. I talked to Guillermo and he said he would check on that. Not a very convincing reply. When he delivered my ordered, he said I added 2 cookies. We had an additional order from our family with kids. Last several months, must have had management change. Back four times in 5 months. Salad dressing old dry clear not replaced. Always out of ice cream cups. Machine is gross and runny now. Toppings and items low or empty often, not cleaned up, staff around talking, dont replace items until we ask 2-3 times. Forget little muffins, usually not replaced either.
