Ever since my Yelp friend Teri R. reviewed this place, I've had on my radar to try. When my mom wanted to find a place near the rental car place my auntie from England had to drop her rental off, we decided to dine here then take her to the airport. I saw this location had some good seating to have 10 of us as a send off. The staff was incredibly friendly, and even offered extra chairs and help move tables if needed. What We Ordered: - German Potato Salad: My cousin ordered and really liked it. I'm not a fan of German potato salad, so I didn't enjoy the flavor. I'll stick to my potato salad. - Potato Salad: Pretty decent for a potato salad, but nothing standout for me. - Meatball Sub: My cousin and his son split this, and they said it was quite large. They wished it had more sauce, but still overall a decent meatball sub. - Caesar Salad + Chicken: I couldn't snap a photo before my cousin's girlfriend and his daughter tore into this. They seemed very pleased with the salad and at a glance, it looked pretty delicious. - Philly Cheesesteak: My dad said it was very good and ate the whole thing! - Roasted Veggie Wrap: My mom said it was nice, and veggies are refreshing on a hot summer day. It was wrapped well, and enjoyed the umami of the mushrooms and balsamic glaze. - Pastrami Reuben: I loved this sandwich! The pastrami was delicious, and I'm excited to have leftovers which is saying something. I'm not usually one to look forward to leftovers. - Turkey & Swiss Wrap: My auntie throughly enjoyed this, and said it was the perfect last meal in America before heading back to England. - Chef Salad: My auntie and I split this to have a bit of veg. Lovely salad with lots of ingredients that complimented each other well. - The American (Reuben-style): My cousin really enjoyed this sandwich and said it was quite large. Next time, she could easily split with me or her fiancée. - Cuban: My cousin's fiancée ordered this and said it's the best Cuban sandwich he's ever had! Quite high remarks. Honestly, I'm not sure I could pick a better place. Very friendly, quick service, and great eats. Walking in, you are met with a vibe of Chicago meets Arizona. The establishment was clean and the staff greeting was pleasant and happy. The lunch crowd was present but not so busy to turn us away. Quick service made this even better. When we received our food it was hot and very tasty. I walked away happy with my choice in trying the Cuban. I rate a diner based on their chicken fried steak and a sandwich shop on their Cubano if it's offered. Whilst KS's Reuben will never match the Reuben served at the Valhalla of pastrami, Katz's Deli, KS serve a very worthy Reuben and my partner recommends the sandwich and KS. My Cubano was spot on what with the pork, ham, dill pickle and mustard between a toasted roll. We will return to Knuckle Sandwiches and look forward to tasting the many other sandwiches on offer. Very friendly staff. Clean place. Cole slaw was a bit on the tangy side but still good. Ordered the pastrami knockout (9oz) of meat with Swiss and mustard (no mayo as that would be sacrilegious). The seating and items on the wall were fine. Neat to see some of the sports games playing. They had a claw machine game in the middle that had money in it! Up to $100! BUT... then when you look at the fine print it is just fake. One customer said he spent money and got it, but then learned it was fake after wasting money on a prize that wasn't real. I dont like that type of misleading presentation. We ate a Philly cheesesteak and a BLATT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, turkey, tomato). For the price the cheesesteak was smaller than I expected, especially not including any type of side with it. The bread was warm and soft, but the meat was slightly dry. The BLATT has the different size option for meat and the mid size was ordered, but it seemed like the only meat that increased was just the turkey leaving my wife wanting more bacon in it as well. We decided to get sandwiches from knuckle today based on the great reviews. We tried them about 4 years ago when they first opened and they were good. Although the sandwich was tasty, I was finishing up my first half, only to feel something strange in my mouth. Sure enough, it was a hair. And this is not mine because it was inside the sandwich and I bit into it. I also have curly hair. I'm very disappointed. I hope this will be noted so it doesn't happen to other people in the future. This is a very nice place to grab a meal. Be advised they stop serving breakfast at 1030, which is too bad because they had some very good dishes on the menu. So we ended up having lunch which was very good. The Reuben sandwich with pastrami was very good. The chicken salad sandwich was also a winner. 6/7/25: Short version - drove 30 miles to try Knuckle Sandwiches and we would do it again. Very color restaurant inside, pretty wide patio (no misters), fun artwork & decor, and quite a few tables for customers (but not crammed together). Long version - the gal behind the counter (sorry for not catching her name) was extremely upbeat & friendly, she started right in being all helpful with bread choices, describing the sammy sizes, and offering advice when asked "coleslaw or regular potato salad?" She said coleslaw & it was a good choice. It was the creamy type, not the vinegary type. My sister enjoyed the German potato salad. I ordered the steak sub (sans onions), sister went with the heavyweight (three kinds of meat). Both came with a large, crunchy pickle quarter. The steak sub was loaded with meat that was well seasoned, and had just the right about of mushrooms, and a scooch of the horseradish sauce (just like the gal said it was so kudos to her again). :-) Everything was reasonably priced, too. It was our first visit to Knuckle Sandwiches. There were eight people in our group. Ladies at the cash registers asked if we were new to the establishment and I said yes, and they were very helpful showing us the menu and explaining everything. The picture shows a Dagwood sandwich and a patty melt with cream of potato soup. In our group, we had a variety of sandwiches. The roast beef sandwich with provolone was given a very high reading by one of the people in our group. The chicken salad was ordered by three people, and all of them agreed that it was delicious and a lot of food for the money. Everyone in the group was very satisfied with their order. I was at Bashas next door and decides to stop in for a sandwich. I've had their Ceaser Salad with chicken before and it was good but nothing special but it's salad. I woke up late and in need of some breakfast grub, so I found this place on Yelp. I heard that they have huge burritos here, so I ordered one without meat. I also got a cup of coffee. The service was great, and the ambiance was chill. However, I didn't care for the coffee. It was self-served and contained in one of those carafes that keeps the beverages hot for 6 hours. I was blown away by the size of the burrito though! It was freaking huge! I couldn't finish it, so I took half of it to go. They have a massive menu, from classics, paninis, wraps, specialty sandwiches, classic deli sides, baked goods and even various size options for some of the sandwich options. I placed an order for pick up, you can utilize their Yelp page directly or their website. I went for a 9 oz of the Hot chicken, which came with grilled chcken, peppers,jalapenos, cheese, lettuce and I added avocado. Along with a cup of their soup of the day, chicken tortilla and their seasonal loak, pumpkin bread. I placed it in advance for a scheduled pick up and they send a link and email with tracking so you know exactly where they are at in the process! Parking is a breeze as they are in a shared lot with ample spots. The inside had plenty of seating if dining in. The service was extremely friendly and handed me my to go bag. I immediately duh in upon getting home and really enjoyed it overall! The sandwich was huge, I ate half. Came with generous protein and was extremely flavorful. The tortilla soup was okay, not my fave, but still tasty, The pumpkin loaf was extremely moist and the streusel topping was delish, but I think i would go with a different treat next time! Order was accurate and it came out in a timely manner. $30+ for 2 sandwiches and a small soda puts it on the high side of pricing, but higher quality meats/bread than subway. I almost missed this sandwich shop even looking for it because they had their name lights off for some reason. The service was good and friendly. I got the large pastrami Reuben and the knuckle sandwich. The prices range from $10 to $14 per sandwich, but they're fairly large sandwiches. The pot roast for the knuckle sandwich was way too dry and chewy that my jaw was getting tired from eating it. The flavor was good but the texture was lacking. The pastrami in the Reuben was good and the bread was also top quality as well. It had a little too much sauerkraut and too little dressing for my taste but it was still good. Great locally owned spot with awesome service! Employees are very helpful and can help you create the best sandwich. Portions come in ounces of meat and they are very generous. You can get multiple different types of breads (toasted or not) and wraps. My personal favorite is the BLATT which is bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato, and turkey! We came here a couple of times and I would say both times were good to me. The parking lot had a lot of spaces so that was nice. There were a lot of tables and seats and everything looked clean. The staff were friendly all of the times we were here. Their menu had a lot of choices and I liked that their menu was also online so you could do some research on what to order if you wanted. The last time we ordered the Pastrami ($9.75) and Knuckle Sandwich ($12.75). Those were both good to me and I would recommend either of those. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak ($13) and it was delicious. I would recommend any of those sandwiches. Having heard about this place over the last several years, I decided to go ahead and ditch my usual subway and try their sandwiches. I decided to have their cheese steak with peppers and onions because the description and picture on their website looked very tasty. I got the sandwich to go since I only live a couple from the store. The first thing I noticed was that the container was extremely hot. I opened the container and discovered the sandwich looked nothing like the picture or the description on the website. The sandwich was still very hot like it had been microwaved. I found some minced beef and cheese sauce on a roll. I literally could not find one pepper or onion on this thing nor any cheddar for that matter.
