They have a wide variety but their ordering system can be confusing. I got the ranger chicken sandwich without the jam. Sandwich was cooked fresh and on a brioche bun that was fresh. The tater tots were some of the best I've had with a good crunch and soft center. My only complaint was the price. My sandwich, tater tots and a 16 oz drink was $18.00. This is the place you always see driving past San tan, and I finally tried it. Sad to say, I was a bit disappointed. First though, it does have a great outdoor seating and large indoor seating area where you can do your order in a computer. The outdoor seating was not clean though so we had to make do. Our order took a while but there were people ahead of us which made sense. I ordered a salad with chicken which was $3 extra. They forgot my chicken. They added it but was not worth the price. I've gotten a couple things here and it hasn't disappointed! I recently got the lux 2slider box combo for $10 which I think is a decent deal. Overall I wish the portion sizes were slightly larger however as it was a Togo order in the drive through maybe that was why the fries were a bit smaller. Also the size of the chicken sandwich is almost in-between a traditional chicken sandwich and a slider. As it was a take our order through the drive through I can't speak much on the inside ambiance but it did seem to have good vibes. String lights and a colorful sign which I liked. My family and I really enjoyed our experience here. We happened to be here during happy hour and I had the most delicious margarita. I was really surprised at how good it was and the price was just $6 and some change. The vegetarian vegan Meati sandwich is so good! Wow, it was huge too and it's made from mushroom root. Maybe it's the desire for more chicken sandwich options, or maybe it was their new Chicken in Box ad that parodies the infamous SNL skit that got me here. Either way, I'm glad we stopped by and spent our lunch here! I didn't know much about Birdcall, but walking in i was very impressed! There was a bar up front, but all your orders were at the self-checkout tablets. There was plenty of seating indoors and a Ninja Turtles Arcada game. There was more seating outside with a small mini-golf area. My husband ordered the Deluxe sandwich, I ordered a 5-piece tenders box, and we ordered my little one a kids meal which came with two tenders, fruit cup, and milk (you have options for the side and the drink). We also sat outside next to the mini-golf strip. A combination of the weather and little enjoying the area, we really enjoyed our visit! The chicken was very tender for all of our meals and the Birdcall sauce was very good! The fruit cup was a little disappointing since it was only mandarin segments with big seeds i had to take out and lots of grapes. A self serve establishment where you can place your own order at one of the few touch screen kiosks. I ordered the 3 strip Nashville hot chicken combo with fries, and my cousin had the chicken sandwich with tots. The chicken was very dry and didn't offer much flavor. Fries were okay, tasted as if they had been sitting for a while, which I didn't expect as our food took longer than expected to be ready. I've been seeing ads for this restaurant chain for a while and decided to stop by the next time I was in the Phoenix area. I got the Slider & Tenders Box and for $10 it was a pretty good deal. I chose the Lux slider which was a tender wrapped in bread with lettuce, a small strip of bacon, a pickle slice, and dressing. The sliders were on the smaller side but they were tender and flavorful. I had the tater tots for the side and they weren't what I was expecting. They were really soggy and didn't have any flavor. I chose the herb mayo for my sauce and received one tiny cup. I'd stop by here again but only if I'm already in the area. I decided to head to this location which is one of two in the Phoenix metro area. The ambiance feels like an "upscale" fast food restaurant with a beautiful and clean dining room as well as outdoor seating, though it's mostly self-service. You can place your order using a screen at the counter then collect it from the pick-up window once it's ready. As a non-meat eater, I appreciate their meatless offering, the Meati as well as their gluten-free bun option. Both are great in my opinion. However, the Meati is only available as a sandwich. So far, my favorite is the Buffalo which comes with your protein of choice tossed in Buffalo sauce, tomato, and blue cheese coleslaw. Very tasty. I also enjoy their fries. I like Birdcall. Sure, they're chicken sandwiches, but they have some good standards and a rotating special. Plus, the tots are good. (IMO, the fries are to be avoided) This is the first time I've ordered a salad as my side and I was impressed with the quality and quantity: spinach, kale and romaine lettuce with diced tomatoes and cucumber. Their sweet tea is not overly sweet (so, not technically a "Southern sweet tea" and more like a "sweetened black tea." This location does not have as many non-alcoholic drink options as some others, but there is some variety. It's the usual Birdcall drill: order on the kiosk then watch the monitor for your order to be delivered to a "bay" for pickup. They have a larger outside seating area than some locations. My K-Pop sandwich was ok. The kimchi slaw was nice but I found the sauce to be way more salty than spicy, which was disappointing. Crank up the gochujang, please! read more

Birdcall is so good! The restaurant is a cute little restaurant with self ordering and they have inside and outside seating areas. The outside area also has a few game areas to keep kiddos busy after they eat. The chicken sandwiches are sized appropriately and they have so many different choices. They also change out one sandwich each month to give you a new tasty option. The chicken tenders are cooked perfectly and have great breading and are decently sized. They have multiple count options depending on how hungry you are. They also offer gluten and dairy free nuggets that are actually very tasty. When ordering tenders or nuggets you get two sauce choices. The sauce cups are a little small and I wish they were double the size. The chipotle bbq and sweet mustard are my favorite. The French fries are shoe string style and taste delicious. And if tots are your thing they also have those available. If you aren't starving they have the perfect sized sliders to nibble on and even offer salads if you need a healthier option. And don't pass on the shakes they are soooo good. I've upgraded my opinion of Birdcall and have been here many times since. They've had some challenges in the service area for digital orders, but mostly it's OK. I don't recommend driving through and taking home. You should eat here or in your car. It's best when hot. They'd do well to create a rewards program and create something for faster (repeat) digital orders, but the classic is the best sandwich around. Just wish they'd include 1 sauce with it instead of serving it up dry. Solid 4 stars. read more

That's not a size variation, that's being shorted food. I ordered seven tenders, I should have received seven tenders. Period. I tried their limited time menu offering, Chicken Shwarma, which was good. The sandwich itself isn't overly large, but not small. I would expect it to be a little larger for the price of one sandwich at $10+. I ran out of chicken on the last part of my sandwich, and left with just the bun. The bun is spongy and definitely liked the bun. The sandwich flavors were good, this had a Mediterranean vibe with cucumbers and hummus. I didn't get any sides so I can't comment on that. The ordering process is through a kiosk, even with no one in line and staff at the front counter, you have to use the kiosks. And you do swipe your card first before picking menu items. Strange process. The staff member was kind enough to walk me through the kiosk situation, but it not a big fan of kiosk ordering and prefer interacting with real living humans. I can see this ordering as a way to limit hiring staff. But the lack of personal touch is part of the reason for taking away a star. After ordering, your name will go up on the TV screen above the pick up window bays, and you'll see how long your order will take and to which cubby your order will be delivered. I called in an order to pick up for my wife's 94 year old Mother. It was a grilled chicken caesar sandwich with a side of coleslaw. The order was just over $13. The chicken portion was very small, dry and tough. The 'dressing' barely covered a quarter of the top bun. My wife had to chop it up and add ranch dressing so her Mom could eat it.
