Well 2 years later I finally decided to give this place another try and holy moly. The owner was correct it must have been a VERY off day because the bagel I just ate was delicious. Perfectly baked, light crust on the outside and chewy on the inside. I finally get the hype! Wish I gave it a second chance sooner. Don't recommend toasting them though because they still become very hard like I remember from a while ago. Note: they have a board of rules that are a tad overboard but it was pretty slammed so I guess it works for them! read more

Stopped by here the other day for the first time and unfortunately they were almost completely out of bagels. All they had left was their salt bagels which were quite good and I got a couple of their cream cheeses including the lox and the brown butter cream cheese as well. While the lox cream cheese was good I wasn't a big fan of the brown butter one. It tasted very identical to frosting out of a jar which wasn't super pleasing. However the service was very good and I would like to come back and try some more bagel flavors eventually. read more

Drove down to try after hearing all the hype. I will preface this by saying i came at 9:30am. Idk if that makes a difference in quality. The good: bagels had great flavor. The lemon herb spread is one of the best spreads ive had. The bad: both my bagels were really hard to bite through and chew. Dont know if showing up when they open means a better bagel. I was really looking forward to trying this place because of all of the great reviews! First thing to note is that when they run out of bagels, they close. So you have to get there early or they might be closed when you arrive. The bagels were okay - small, slightly hard but had a ton of seasoning on it. I was underwhelmed by the cream cheese flavors. They only have 3 flavors and did not have an onion or chive one! Also, they don't have any kind of bacon or anything for the bagels. Just a few bagel flavors and cream cheese. Slightly over priced. 2 bagels and 2 coffees were $22. Probably wouldn't go again. The food wasn't bad, just wasn't worth the drive and definitely isn't a good New York bagel! read more

I thought Siegel's Bagelmania in Las Vegas was as good as it gets when it comes to bagels outside of New York City. And then I discovered literally The Best Bagel I've Ever Eaten. If you haven't tried Bagelfeld's, I recommend you go there tomorrow. And the next day. And the next. And the next. Once you try their bagels, you will know exactly what I'm talking about! Addendum: I'm keeping my 5 star rating based on the bagels themselves. However, ownership of Bagelfeld's needs to take a step back as they are becoming quite cocky and smug. The owner (manager?) literally yelled at/berated us this morning the moment we walked in because they were running out of bagels. Maybe trying to give us the full New York experience? They also recently added a large sign that says "We swear to gawd we will send you to the back of the line" if you don't order quickly and accurately. Ok--calm down. This bagel spot is now officially my number one favorite. It was my first time here, and I had a great experience. I even talked to one of the other customers, who was super helpful and kind. The service was fast--under five minutes--and I ordered three bagels: blueberry, everything, and asiago cheese, all with honey brown butter cream cheese. The customer service was friendly, and the place was clean with staff working hard in the back. The bread was incredibly soft and fluffy, and the bagels were large with a generous amount of cream cheese. The only thing I'd suggest is adding napkins to the bag--though I probably could've grabbed some myself. Other than that, everything was perfect, and I'm definitely excited to come back. A drive-thru would be amazing, or maybe even an outdoor order taker when it's not hot out, but I understand that could be a lot. Either way, this place would crush it with a drive-thru! read more

Their bagels are amazing! Crunchy on the ends, soft and fluffy in the middle. The spot is small and they have a few different flavor bagels and cream cheese. They also have specials through the week. Whine it's been super hot inside the last few times the customer service is great and welcoming with a smile. We've tried the plain, sesame, salt bagels and the salmon, plain and lemon and herb cream cheese. My favorite is the sesame bagel with the lemon herb cream cheese. The cream cheese is so fresh with just enough herbs. It's amazing! I'm on a mission to try each of their bagels and cream cheese. They don't have a lot so I might have a new favorite in the near future! read more

I really wanted to like Bagelfelds but I just didn't. I wasn't a huge fan of the lack of anywhere to sit down and the simple in and out service forcing you to go find somewhere to eat your bagel. When we got our bagels, they were pretty tough and hard to chew. That's not a great sign when it comes to bagels. Granted, we went around 11 a.m. but I've gone this late to plenty of bagel shops in my city, Chicago, and New York and always had better quality than the bagels here. I've also been to bagel places in Phoenix around this time such as Back East Bagels but never had quality issues. I was pretty disappointed in the bagel quality. We tried a normal bagel and an everything bagel. Both weren't great. The everything bagel lacked flavor you'd expect from a good bagel spot and the normal bagel was as you'd expect. It was such a shame because the schmere were super tasty. One flavor profile was a sweet schmere that made the bagel into more of a dessert than a bagel, which isn't a bad thing. This spot offers online ordering to complement the in-person orders placed in the tiny space for customers. At least for being a space with nowhere to eat, Bagelfeld's has a fair amount of parking with a not so tiny lot and hopefully enough spaces for customers. It seems street parking is often required due to the sign the business has ready for when things do get busy. In all honesty, I don't know if I just caught them on a bad day or if the bagels really aren't that good every day. Surely, there's something that makes this place worth returning for the majority of people who come here. I'm probably going to keep checking out new bagel shops before coming back here. read more

What an incredible bagel. Absolutely mind blowing. I got the everything bagel with lemon herb cream cheese and it was delicious. I can't find one flaw with it. The crust was exceptionally crispy and the dough was light, fluffy and chewy. The entire thing was a masterpiece. Service was fine, efficient. Very utilitarian which carry's on to ambiance. The place both doesn't and does have a charm as it just a bakery with a stand to order your bagel goodness and depart. There's literally one small table to sit two. Otherwise it's a takeout experience. I'm gonna try and have each and everyone one of their bagels and toppings. tried Bagelfelds for the first time! was craving a bagel and stopped by this place and I'm so glad we did..it's hidden behind some buildings but so yummy. We got the asaigo bagel with salmon cream cheese and a poppy bagel with honey butter cream cheese. The cream cheese is fluffy and light and the bagel is the perfect crispyness and flavor. I believe the ratio of cream cheese to bagel was perfect and cannot wait to come back. I highly recommend and I think this is our new fav bagel spot before visiting the farmers market! read more

Be aware that this place is tricky to find and parking is really tight. They are only a bagel place. No seating. No drinks/coffee. Very basic. The menu is very basic and somewhat limiting. I wanted an everything with veg spread. They don't have veg spread. I did however really enjoy the salmon cream cheese spread on my everything. The bagel was delicious. The reason I gave it three stars was the lack of spread choices and bagel choices. I will be back for another try. Apparently they have days during the week that they offer a couple other bagel flavors. Make sure to look at the website for the menu before heading over. Again, it's a recommend. I've lived in AZ for over three years and constantly on the search for some damn good bagels that remind me of home and I believe I have finally found the place. We came by around 9a and they were already sold out of a couple of items. The service was pleasant and efficient. The ambiance was pretty straightforward and clean. I actually loved that you could see everyone in the back slinging the orders while the aroma of bagels filled the air. We opted to try their jalapeño cheddar, toasted, with lemon her cream cheese. And OMG it was heaven upon first bite. Crunch to the exterior and chewy interior. I loved that the jalapeño flavor was there but not overwhelmingly spicy and the cheesiness on the bottom added to both texture and flavor. The cream cheese was also a delight. It was pretty evenly lemon and herb. I should have gotten a full container of that for home! All in all, I thought it was excellent and I look forward to returning again and again and trying all their other flavors. Bagelfelds is of the few places I'd pay $5 for a single bagel and cream cheese. The pepper & garlic cream cheese is just delicious and they do not skimp on the portion. I love a good salt bagel and the jalapeño cheddar is worth mentioning as well. It'd be great if they offered espresso options but they do have cold brew and hot tea selections. The parking situation is definitely not ideal and apparently they do sell out quickly and early! I've gone before 9am on multiple visits and not had issues ordering what I want. It's also easy to miss - tucked back by an auto body shop off Thomas. They also sell their bagels to local restaurants such as a couple of the Fox Restaurant concepts. read more

We tried the cheddar jalepeño with garlic pepper spread for more of the savory. This was light, sweet and spicy all at the same time. 9/10 We also had their very berry spread on a plain.
