Bagles are a very subjective thing. Not only what we order but the qualities of the bagel and cream cheese. The bagel itself at Bagelfelds is one of the best I have ever had. They are consistent and efficient. Many places gone act like you are their very first order even though they have been in business for years. The bagle is chewy but not enough to pull out dental work. Yes that has happened to me. They have always been fresh. It has a great inside of the bagel as well. Never is it a big raw dough ball. Cream cheese is great. Never had shallot cream cheese, now it's my favorite. Finally a great bagle plays. Unfortunately it located less than a mile away. I've been trying to visit Bagelfeld's Phoenix location for some time but could never get there early enough. Of course, after a fire occurred, it wasn't an option at all. Now that they have an another location in Tempe, I thought I'd give it a go. The space is slightly larger, but seating is limited. The Employee who took the order was fast and friendly. There was also a five minute wait for the bagel to be prepared. Prices are reasonable. I ordered a Plain Bagel with Lemon and Herb Cream Cheese. The bagel itself was a good size and had good flavor. The cream cheese, however, overpowered the bagel. There was simply too much of it. If I had to guess, it probably had about four ounces of cream cheese! Some Customers may like this, but it was just too much for my taste. I may revisit Bagelfeld's. If I do, I'll consider butter or no fixings at all. read more

I first visited Bagelfelds' original location years ago and remember it being good. I don't eat bagels very often, but I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop by this newer location. We ordered a tub of plain cream cheese along with a variety of bagels: salt, everything, Asiago, jalapeño cheddar, and one jalapeño cheddar with the jalapeño cheddar bacon cream cheese. This location has a much larger lobby than the original, plus outdoor seating and a few standing-height tables inside, which is a nice touch. The standout for me was the Asiago bagel. It had plenty of cheese baked throughout the dough, giving it great flavor in every bite. My husband and daughter tried the jalapeño cheddar bagel and thought it was just okay. The jalapeño cheddar bacon cream cheese was tasty and paired well with the bagel. The service was average. The staff wasn't unfriendly, but they didn't seem particularly welcoming either it felt more like we were interrupting them than being greeted as customers. Overall, the bagels were good, especially the Asiago, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit this location again. read more

Great fresh bagels and a really good cream cheese selection! We got a jalapeño cheddar bagel with jalapeño bacon cream cheese and an Asiago bagel with pepper garlic cream cheese. Both combinations were delicious and paired really well together. The service was quick and super friendly. You can tell the staff works hard and really cares about what they do. There's no indoor seating but there are counters inside where you can stand and eat, plus some outdoor seating. The place was very clean and it was cool being able to watch the staff making the bagels. I'd definitely come back. Easily some of the best bagels I've had in AZ! read more

This place is such a must-try if you are a bagel lover!! My husband and I came here following a recommendation that came from his colleague (after the colleague found out he was from Jersey) and we are so happy that we did!! The bagels were DELICIOUS - so hot, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. I had the blueberry bagel with cream cheese and it was excellent and my husband had a plan bagel with the honey brown butter cream cheese which was also top tier. Him and I both agreed that we haven't had a better bagel in AZ, & coffee is great too! We will definitely be coming back here - probably next weekend. read more

Service was friendly. Bagels were fresh and had a nice mix of crunchy outside and soft inside. We tried a more savory option of onion bagel with the shallot cream cheese. It was just enough without being too much on the onion. The portion of cream cheese was generous. Then we did a plain bagel split - half with the brown butter honey and half with strawberry cream cheese. Both were fantastic, but I will say the servings of cream cheese seemed less than the bagel with a single flavor (it was enough but the up charge felt a bit much). The coffee was standard, decent but not out of this world. Inside is standing room only and there's just a couple tables outside. Fortunately we beat the rush and got a table. We do plan to return. It took us a while to try these bagels because we are usually partial to a bagel sandwich which isn't served here. I wish we had tried them sooner though because I am convinced they are the best bagels in the valley. They have a great selection of bagel flavors and spreads including sweet and savory. The texture was perfection. They supply many restaurants in the valley with their bagels, so you may have had them without even knowing. I am SO happy to have a bagelfeld's location in Tempe! This one is a lot bigger than the original location and while there's still no real seating, there are a few bars you can stand around and eat at. I got a sun dried tomato bagel with lemon herb cream cheese and it was great. My friend got the everything bagel with honey brown butter cream cheese. I tried it and it was incredible, I hadn't combo'd those two before and definitely will get it next time! The bagels here are the perfect consistency - not too chewy - and the large portion of flavorful cream cheese is the best complement to them. Service was fast. They're currently operating with limited hours and menu, but plan to eventually expand both which will be nice. Bagelfeld's remains my favorite bagel shop so I strongly recommend coming here! read more

I didn't feel welcomed. No hello. Just asked me for my order. But they were super friendly to the other guests. One look at me and they flipped a switch. Not a good feeling. Bagel was over salted, hard to chew and the Americano tasted odd. They didn't give me a lid. Had to reach over and get it myself. And it tasted like a burnt marshmallow ? Pumped to have a Bagelfeld's closer to me in Tempe now! This newly opened location is just as yummy as the original. If you've never been to Bagelfeld's before, think fresh, doughy bagels with generous portions of delicious, uniquely flavored cream cheeses. I love how they offer the half + half cream cheese option if you're torn like me and want to try two flavors. Such a unique offering and I'm so here for it! The cashier was friendly and one thing I noticed was that he was seated before we walked up to the counter. He stood up as soon as we approached to order. But I love seeing the Right to Sit implemented locally! When sitting does not interfere with employee duties, it's so nice when businesses allow workers to sit and reduce fatigue. Such an important basic human right for employees! The store itself had a retail table, lots of live plants, and an area for the line that probably forms on Saturday mornings. 01/30/2026 Bagelfeld's had been on my list for a long time, but I just couldn't get myself to drive to Phoenix for it. As soon as I found out they opened a second location in Tempe, I was planning what day to go. They open at 6AM Tuesday-Saturday. I got there on a Friday around 7:45AM. There was no line, and just one other customer waiting for his order. The refrigerated case had a bunch of cream cheese options. There were a couple of cookie options on the counter. For bagels, I got blueberry, jalapeño cheddar, and everything. I also got the jalapeño popper cream cheese. Brought them home and immediately tried blueberry because it's one of my favorite bagel flavors. Unfortunately, I did not like it as much as I'd hoped because of the sugar coating. It was too sweet for me, and the sugar hardened on the exterior making it tougher to chew. I ended up cutting all of the bagels in half and freezing them. I reheated the savory bagels in a toaster and made a sandwich using the jalapeño popper cream cheese. WOW - I loved that cream cheese! I don't think they have this flavor all the time, so I highly recommend getting it if you see it! The everything bagel was good, but the best of the three I got was the jalapeño cheddar bagel. read more

When I recently moved, I was devastated that I wasn't going to be close to a Bagelfeld'a location u til I learned their new location in Tempe would be in walking distance. This new location is large and has searing inside and outside, along with plenty of parking. I live how spacious and clean this location is, its constantly filled with people. My go to is still the everything bagel with salmon lox, it's absolutely divine. Shout out to the staff, I always love interacting with them and they are so warm and friendly. read more

I finally got to try Bagelfeld's!! I am so happy they opened in my neighborhood! These bagels are true New York style bagels and they are super delicious! I got one to eat there and they toasted it just how I requested it! The classic everything bagel was pure perfection! Being from Jersey, I am always looking for a great bagel. These defintely lived up to the hype. The lemon herb cream cheese was really good. But the coffee-way too weak and a little pricier than other places for the size. I can go to Steve's Espresso and get the same coffee as a lrage and it is one dollar less and a good strength.
