Came here on a friend's recommendation and immediately understood the hype, this spot is adorable! Service was quick and especially welcoming for first-timers. The woman helping us was patient, knowledgeable, and happy to walk us through the menu, which made the experience feel approachable. I managed to snag the last crookie of the day, and honestly, I'd come back just for that! It's a croissant-cookie hybrid that hits the sweet spot between flaky and indulgent, with layers that pull apart like a pastry but still deliver that rich, cookie-like bite! The flavor balance was spot on too! Not too sweet! As for the cookies, they lean more soft and doughy rather than crisp. If you're someone who prefers that gooey, slightly underbaked center (think Crumbl-style), you'll be very happy here. The chocolate chip is a classic done right, sweet but not overwhelming, with a touch of salt that rounds everything out. The snickerdoodle also delivers, with that warm cinnamon-sugar profile you expect, executed really well. Overall, a super cute spot with thoughtful service and solid treats. Chewks Cookies is such a fun and delicious sweet treat! The cookie croissant is an absolute MUST. It truly melts in your mouth and can be easily reheated and enjoyed for many days. Soft, delicious cookies! Really cute little location at the Fredrick, I always have fun checking out the places they have there! It was too early last time I was in the area so today it worked out perfectly. They have a few different types of cookies on display, and the checkout counter and that's it, really small spot but plenty of space outside to sit and enjoy your cookies. I had my two year old pick ours out and he went for the peanut butter m&m cookie and the funfetti sprinkled one! They are so soft and delicious without being like under cookies or overly dense. Happened to be going to another store and spotted Chewks. I had to try the cookies. They are fantastic. The texture is perfect, the taste is so good. Nice and thick like a cookie should be. Love love love this place! The crookie (croissant cookie) is a 10/10 and I've gone back for it time and time again! Also have never had a bad cookie from them! This place was solid! A small bakery, located inside a small shopping mall. I believe they also cater and have a trailer available to rent for events. The people working were helpful and nice. Chewks keeps it simple with only 6 cookie flavors to choose from, and they also offer the viral croissant cookie. I tried the croissant cookie treat and was really surprised at how well it worked. I enjoyed it and would definitely order it again. I also tried the chocolate chip cookie which was soft and chocolatey. So yummy. I can't wait to visit this place again. read more

My wife and I absolutely love this place. We come here at least twice a week just for the oatmeal cookie, and it never disappoints. It is the perfect texture, soft and gooey in the center with a crisp, slightly crunchy outside. The first thing I'll say is the area it's in is super cute perfect for a little date night stroll. The smell of fresh cookies hits you as soon as you walk in. I also loved that they had some small cookies to sample by the cashier, such a nice touch! The space itself is tiny with no indoor seating, so it's more of a grab-and-go spot, which makes sense for what they do. They had some fun flavors on the menu like peanut M&M, red velvet, chocolate chip pumpkin spice, and their famous crookie (a croissant + cookie combo). The only thing that threw me off was that when we ordered four cookies, they were given to us cold. We had planned to enjoy them right away but ended up going home to heat them up. Maybe that's just how they serve them, but for a cookie shop that's mainly to-go, it felt a little odd. As for taste, the flavors were good overall. oh yeah! That croissant cookie is amazing! Really wish I had bought two. It is expensive but worth it. Nutella cookies was good, but nothing different than some other cookie shops in the area. Such a cute little cookie shop with an amazing selection! The staff was so friendly and even had fresh chocolate chip cookie samples ready to try. This was my first time at Chewks after a friend recommended it, and I am so glad I went! I picked up two of each flavor to try, and every single one was incredible. The cookies are soft, rich, and truly melt in your mouth--Crumbl doesn't even compare. The customer service was fantastic from the start. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The actual store itself was simple, modern, and very clean. I also tried a Crookie, and it was absolutely to die for--easily one of the best desserts I've ever had. If you're looking for the best cookies in town, I cannot recommend Chewks enough. Came for some Mahalo ice and found it had moved, and was replaced by Chewks cookies. Our girls were so disappointed, but after seeing gluten free cookies on the menu, they soon forgot about being sad. They use Nestlé Toll House chocolate chips in their chocolate chips cookies. They are thick, soft, chewy, melt in your mouth yummy. We really enjoyed them. They have a following. Many were coming by for boxes off cookies. First of all, the SMELLS. Walking in it smells like heaven. This is a little shop found amongst the Fred off of Missouri. It's a bit pricey, but the quality is legit and the product is fresh. If you like goo this place is for you!!! The cookies were so raw oysters would be embarrassed!!! Taste was not good except for the m&m's. Crumble cookies are like eating Arizona dried donkey cakes compared to this place and crumble cookies taste like you eat flour from the bag. Soft, thick, chewy cookies - almost underbaked- which is just the way I like them :) They were out of snickerdoodle, and out of the sample sized cookies they apparently usually offer. But my toddler and I very much enjoyed the chocolate chunk and the PB M&M! Be aware that there is no seating inside, but there is a lovely courtyard shared by the other businesses. Chewk is a small and cozy cookie shop with a minimalist vibe. While they don't offer a huge variety of flavors, they do cover the essential ones pretty well. I went to chewk's last night and it was delicious! We had to wait 15 minutes for them to make a fresh batch of crookies - which were so worth it. The cashier felt bad and even comped one of our cookies which was not at all necessary. The crookie was warm and chewy, a literal dream for my taste buds. I loved the red velvet cookie too, it was sweet but not at all overpowering. I loved the cute little business center it's in too and going during the day would make it a cute hang out spot to yap and eat. Really wanted to like this place but as we arrived they said it was there busiest day ever and only had a couple cookies left .. It was 2 pm . But luckily they had the croissant ones they were making and would be 5 min wait and a couple chocolate chips .. She baked it for maybe 1 min. Both cookies were pretty much raw . I've seen Chewks on my social media recently, so I decided to give it a try! I ordered the chocolate chip, funfetti, and snickerdoodle. While I wanted to love these, they were a bit too doughy for my liking. I myself lean toward cookies with crispy exteriors, so I may be biased, but the texture of these cookies seemed to resemble undercooked cookie dough. I was so excited to see Chewk's had opened, so I of course had to stop by this weekend to try them out. Honestly, I've always disliked the franchised cookie stores that we all know the name of so I was glad to hear this was a small local shop that looked way better just by looking at their pictures. We picked up chocolate chip, peanut butter M&M, and snickerdoodle, and every single one was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. I was also excited to see they offer gluten-free chocolate chip--a big plus for so many people! The gents working there were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the positive experience. Living so close to Chewk's might be dangerous, but it just means we'll be frequenting this spot regularly, both for ourselves and to treat friends and family. A school project in undergrad at Grand Canyon University exploded into a college town sensation. Chewk's Cookies was founded by two friends, Hunter & Mike who wanted to create a nostalgic cookies flavors that brings the feeling oof home to college towns. Chewk's has grown into a college staple at GCU, ASU and the University of Arkansas and now serves the Uptown Phoenix are with it's first brick & mortar. These cookies are nostalgic and timeless classics for generations and have been perfected into soft and chewy cookies. There is only four flavors of cookies and they are done to absolute perfection.

I went with The Standard consisting of vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips, and chocolate sauce, and on a normal day, there would have bene a chocolate chip cookie, too. The other five options included the Chocolate Lover, The Celebration, The Signature, Reese's Lover, and The VNA. While I enjoyed the sundae, I'm sure it would have been even better with the cookie included. The Scookie Bar is "where the scoop met the cookie" and serves freshly baked, warm deep-dish skillet cookies also known as scookies. They have a location at The Churchill in Downtown Phoenix, though I would assume I would more regularly see them when their food truck stops by ASU. Their Churchill location is closed on Monday but open Tuesday through Friday from 5-10 PM and Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 10 PM. If you want to order catering, it includes 2 hours of service and a 100 scookie minimum. They can provide a Build Your Own Menu where guests can choose the cookie, ice cream, and toppings, or they can choose from the Signature Scookie Menu which is what ASU did. They have been operating since 2016 in Phoenix. Now that I realize that I was missing the chocolate chip cookie, I need to try it again with that included! Food (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is known for its cannolis, tiramisu, gelato, and lobster claws (dessert, not real lobster haha). On my most recent visit, I had a cannoli.
