Bagel With Chive Cream Cheese
Nicole B.

You know me -- I love a good bagel, but I'm picky. Like, New-Yorker-trapped-in-the-desert picky. And let me tell you: this place? Best bagel I've had since moving out here. Let's talk bread. These bagels are big, fluffy, and fresh -- none of that sad, overly dense, 5-day-old-Safeway energy. I got one slathered in chive & onion cream cheese (my ride-or-die flavor), and they did not hold back. Cream cheese was thick, flavorful, and not that weird, artificial stuff that ruins your breath and your day. Normally I go for a lox bagel, but we were in a rush so I grabbed something simple -- and it only set me back about $4. That's the kind of pricing that makes your wallet and your taste buds do a little happy dance. From the first bite, it was savory heaven. My only gripe? No dairy-free or vegan cream cheese options. Your girl has allergies, and while I would suffer for this place... I'd really rather not. So it's a solid 4/5 for now -- points off for lack of allergy-friendly options and because I still need to try the full lox experience. But seriously, this spot is legit. I'll be back. Probably tomorrow.

Prices way up

The prices keep going up here for no real reason. Nothing has changed. The sandwiches have not gotten bigger. But now you must add $3 for a combo and could spend over $15. Make sandwich bigger for higher price or include cookie.

Salmon cream cheese bagel

Only reason why it's 4 stars is because there's ways a long line whenever I want to grab a bagel! buuut that just shows how delicious they are. My favourite is the salmon cream cheese bagel. I could eat it everyday

Spinach bagel

This was my first visit here. I knew I was coming in late for bagels. A good selection of bagels. However, practically all their bagels had been sold out! That's good news for the business. There were a handful of choices. I tried a spinach bagel with cream cheese. I had it toasted. It was good and chewy. Shared parking lot and Cox Wi-Fi for subscribers.

Swung by here for a breakfast on our way up to Sedona. Being from California we didn't realize this is a local chain, but dang I can see why they do well! This place was packed when we got here, but they get their orders out fast. The staff was quick to greet and take orders as well as make them. Nice seating inside and out. I ordered a gyro not knowing what to expect from a bagel place, but was pleasantly surprised. It was a good size, really fresh, and plenty of tzatziki. My wife got a turkey bagel sandwich on everything. It was a huge sandwich, she only finished half of it. Really fresh tasting and the bagel was really good. The bagel was nice and soft and not sticky at all like we've had other Everything bagels be before. This is a great place to grab a good bite at a really good price. I wish we had these in California!

Always a joy stopping in, doesn't matter what time of day either. Granted, if you want the type of bagel you're coming in for, earlier is better. Just she bagel aroma when you first walk in is delightful. Today I went with the toasted everything bagel with the chive cream cheese. They have actual chive in the cream cheese. That, combined with the saltiness of the bagel is perfection. You might wander "is it really enough cream cheese or is too much?" Rest assured, I have faced this type of cream cheese conundrum before as well and the answer would be "that's up to you". They have no issues putting the exact amount you want on. They also are very wonderful about wrapping up your leftovers in case you want it to go or couldn't finish. My son got the breakfast burrito and it was loaded up. He was a big fan!

So we came here after leaving my in-laws house. We saw it along the way. My wife ordered the bagel with cream cheese and I ordered the Chorizo Burrito. I was gently surprised at how good it was. I feel like someone should have told me about this place! It was so good I ordered 2 bagels for the road! If you are close by you gotta try this place. It is really clean, the people who were hanging out were friendly and the vibe was great!

LOVE MY LOX

I had to give a lower score because I got sick eating here. The food was delicious but my coffee seemed off. I took maybe three drinks then said I can't drink this. Not too long after I got really bad stomach cramps and ended up sick. With that said I really do believe it was the creamer and not my food. Below is what I got.

Food is great but check your order before you leave because 4 out of 5 times, they get your order wrong.

Their bagels are seriously the best. I wish you didn't get charged for leaving an egg off the sandwich. Kinda weird.

We saw all the desserts right when we walked in and let me tell you, sooooo good. We settled for deli sandwiches and some salads. All very good. The best part about being in the deli is the atmosphere. There is a full grocery store of Italian foods, people eating at the dining area and ordering going on at the deli counter. I stepped into this joint and transported back in time - Sunday after church, five years old again with my grandparents, standing at the counter of Giannella's in Paterson, NJ. With the exception of the cashier dude, the staff was...uh..."mezza morto," and definitely in need of some Italian or Italian-American inspiration. A little life. A little rhythm. A smile perhaps. I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich, add wet mozzarella, hot soppressata, roasted red peppers, oil, and balsamic.. The cutlets were too thick and the mozzarella, although fresh, was strangely tasteless. Apparently this sandwich was infused with gold, crypto, or something because it rang in at $24 with the add-ons. My person had the eggplant parm, which unfortunately was over-seasoned with only a slight trace of mozzarella. The marinara on the side was undefinable. We hit the bakery on the way out. The sfogliatella and cannoli were great, and so were the ladies behind the counter, warm, lively, and actually happy to be there. Look, I'm goin' back to Romanelli's. I'll even pay another $24 for a sandwich. There's a reason this place has been there for decades, and they deserve another shot.

The first thing that stands out is the massive, beautifully maintained outdoor seating area. It's covered, pet-friendly, and thoughtfully designed with fireplaces and privacy walls that give each table a more intimate feel. There's even an outdoor bar where you can grab a drink while you wait or just enjoy the atmosphere. Inside, the décor is incredibly creative. Butcher knives and custom cutting boards line the walls, and the open kitchen showcases hanging meats so you can see everything in action. The bakery area adds another layer of charm, with rolling pins and whisks hanging from the ceiling, it all feels intentional and immersive without being over the top. The menu is just as fun and different as the space itself. I started with the Sicilian wedge and then had to go for what they're known for, the handcrafted meatballs. You can mix and match meatballs with different pastas, but the real showstopper is the "meatball carousel." It lets you sample multiple meatballs with their recommended sauces, all presented on an elaborate Ferris wheel-style display that turns heads across the restaurant. It's a full experience, not just a meal. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. What truly made the night, though, was our server, Mia. She struck that perfect balance of fun and professional, engaging, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. She guided us through the menu, made great recommendations, and brought a level of energy that elevated the entire experience. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows. For dessert, we went with the traditional Sicilian cannoli stuffed with Nutella and a lemon tart that was so good I'd honestly consider flying back just to have it again. The only thing I was bummed about is that I love their marinara so much that I wanted to get the rigatoni with marinara as my side. However, they don't allow you to sub the sauce. It came with vodka sauce and I'm not a fan of that, so I opted for the side salad. Wish they'd allow you to sub the sauce. After dinner, we went next door to the Sicilian Baker and ordered an array of treats. Their tiramisu is a must! I've had it twice now and it's some of the best tiramisu I've had (topping even slices I've had in Rome!). The girls helping us were Riley and Tatum and they were very helpful. Even gave us some free mini cannolis. Yum!
