After a disappointing breakfast experience elsewhere, I decided to try Eggstasy at the Happy Valley location--and the difference was night and day. The restaurant is spacious, modern, and inviting. Even though they were very busy, we were greeted immediately and seated promptly. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience feel easy and pleasant. The breakfast was delicious. I also ordered fresh grapefruit juice, which was excellent. They have a proper juicer, a high-quality espresso machine, and serve Lavazza coffee. My cappuccino tasted amazing--a refreshing change from the basic coffee served at many breakfast restaurants. From the atmosphere and service to the food, juice, and coffee, everything was thoughtfully done. Eggstasy shows that a busy breakfast restaurant can still deliver great quality and attentive service. Other breakfast places should follow their lead. read more

We have been to Eggstasy a few times and every time we leave, we wonder why we don't come more often. This spot is located in Norterra, so there is ample parking. We find the ambiance to be lively but not chaotic. It's your typical buzzing brunch spot in that regard. The last two times we have visited, I ordered the apple and brie omelette. In addition to apple and brie, the omelette contains chicken sausage. I feel like most restaurants don't offer brie as a cheese option, let alone for breakfast, so this is instant brownie points in my book. The service at Eggstasy is always pleasant and efficient. Have been here a few times and overall a good experience for the price factor. I would recommend this place. Here are my takes: Food/Drinks: A different take from usual American Diners like Denny's and iHop. Food taste good and comes with a good elevated plates as well in terms of decor. Food is not the most cheapest when compared to Diners but for the taste highly recommend. They have some unique pancake options. They do nice mimosas in the morning and the overall dine-in experience is worth it. Service: Servers has been usually nice during the visits and no complaints from that perspective. Ambiance: They have plenty of seats inside outside but they are almost always heavily crowded. The seats sometimes feels very close to each other as well. Sooo this was i've been to other locations and they've been good. I came with my mom for brunch. And I sat down in the waiter already you could tell, had an attitude and was having an off day I ordered a dirty chai iced with almond milk and he gave me his own feedback about how he does not like almond milk. He proceeded to tell me how bad it was and I proceeded to tell him " you're the one who's not drinking it" It was very offputting and unneeded. Staff is always super friendly. Food is always served fast, fresh and hot. Portion sizes are pretty large so we always end up taking at least half of our meal home for leftovers. It's good value for your money even though the upfront price looks like a lot, but again the leftovers are worth it. Bathrooms are always sparkling clean. The "garage doors" were open and everyone was fanning themselves. If we didn't have such a large group, we probably would've left and went somewhere else. But we had a reservation and a table here. The manager walked by several times, saw everyone fanning themselves at multiple tables and didn't seem to care. They need to install some fans or circulation of some sort as it is hotter than crap This time of year. Close the doors and turn on the air. Also, where we sat faced a station where all the drinks were kept, it was broken, the servers eat right there. It was very awkward when we were trying to eat our food and this is what we saw. The food was good. We had multiple items. Some pictures are attached. Overall 4 stars on food. Our only complained that everything was warm, nothing was hot or fresh. Eggstacy is transparent and they cook fast because they expect you to eat and leave. Me: "Well, I figured toast would be faster." The gentleman next to me ordered something similar, and the plate looks decent. Was it worth it? Umm, going out for Sunday breakfast and paying close to $40 for two people being rushed to eat... IMO no. On my plate I found an extra egg because one yolk broke, and I ate one pineapple chunk off the fruit kabob. I shared with my husband the other pineapple chunks because the other fruit were squished and unappealing. Overall, it is hard to rate 2 eggs, 2 slices of toasted bread, and fruit on a stick. I'm shocked at how simple this order was compared to it's $14 pricetag. I'm shocked I was rushed to choose expensive simplicity instead of enjoying a relaxed Sunday meal after reading the elevated menu carefully. Now it is on the expensive side but these days when you get a great breakfast and great service I find that I'm willing to accept a little bit higher price prices. And I love their amazing Patti sausage. It's probably some of the best I've had in a very long time and it's consistently good. Popped in after a hike at thunder as my coworker friend is a regular and she said it's a good breakfast spot. She was not telling any lies. The hunger post hike was real so opted for the angus steak and eggs, with hash browns and regular pancakes. The hash browns was crispy and crunchy just like I like it, steak was medium well and flavorful as were the pancakes. The whipped topping for the pancake and syrup combo, wow. We really wanted to like this place better and who knows, maybe was an off day food wise. My friends chose this spot and we made a reservation for four adults and two children at the door. We were told it would be about a 35 to 40 minute wait and was around that time we got seated. I had the smoked salmon omelette and it had grease, which I believe was the cheese(?) Oozing out of it. In addition it was loaded with onion and the salmon was overcooked. Salmon omelettes are usually my favorite, but I did not care for this one. TMI, but I ended up burping it up for it up half the day and had an upset stomach after eating it. My guy had the eggs and corned beef, which were tasty. We both added the upcharged pancake option with our meals for $3 each. He had the red velvet and I had the pecan. Although both were pretty good, the red velvet was my favorite of the two. We took a few bites and boxed them up for later. The waiter didn't come back to check on us after the food was dropped off, and my friend didn't get the bacon she ordered in her omelette so she had to wave him down to come over. He told her "you didn't order any bacon in it", which wasn't true as I heard her order. He did, however, bring out a side of bacon shortly after. All in all this place is popular for a reason and have a trendy style with a wide variety of food on their menu. None of us were super impressed with our food, but again I feel like they were very busy and wonder it was an off day. In addition, the music was so loud we had to practically yell at each other from accross the table. Not my idea of an enjoyable way to start my day off at a breakfast place, but to each their own. Really great brunch spot! The ingredients they use in their dishes taste and look very high quality. I got the chicken and waffles and it was a huge portion that tasted fantastic. And it's not just like a couple chicken tenders, it's a whole piece of chicken slathered in gravy. The price is pretty high for a breakfast focused spot, but the quality of the food makes it sting a little bit less and the kitchen works very fast. This place is very busy, I came with some friends around 9:30am on a Thursday, we were lucky to get a table for 5 indoors pretty quickly, but not long after a pretty large line started forming extending out the door. Our waitress was really wonderful and friendly but she was definitely rushing us a bit, giving us takeout boxes well before we were done and handing out the bill before we had finished eating. Wife and I came here for breakfast on a Thursday morning and this was our first time here. This place is located walking distance to Harkins Theatres at the Norterra Shopping Center so there's a ton of parking. The vibe inside is friendly and fast. You'll see an open kitchen with the cooks prepping orders inside the main dining area. Tables and chairs with a nice artsy aluminum look. Looks like total max seating is at least 75 and you can eat inside or at their outdoor pet friendly patio area so bring you doggies if you want. Eggstacy is mainly a high end breakfast restaurant that offers meal choices for lunch and dinner also so you don't really have to order breakfast only food. This place is almost like First Watch which is also a breakfast restaurant but Eggstasy is a cut above in menu selection. By far the menu at Eggstasy is very comprehensive. You are definitely going to find something that you will enjoy even vegetarian options and healthier dishes. Here's what we ordered and our feedback. Hot Caramel Apple Cider: great tasting, nice flavor. Ice water is served from a large glass carafe that is placed on your table for self refill. Great tasting as I think it was filtered water. Phat kids club sandwich with French fries: a very large club sandwich that is topped with insanely crispy fries. This was superb and this dish alone can feed 2 hungry people easily. The portion was very generous. Served with soup: potato leek which I loved. The soup selection here rotate depending on the day. My only gripe is that there was an extra toothpick inside the sandwich which I wasn't expecting. No big deal. Angus skirt steak with eggs: asked for medium done and it was cooked perfectly. Medium done isn't easy to pull off, timing to plate it must be perfect which it totally was. Excellent dish!! Served with fresh fruit skewer. Apple chicken sausage side: tasty and yummy, had grill marks which made it look awesome. Nutella red velvet pancakes: this dish was great but I have a gripe here. The actual red velvet flavor was completely missing. I think a prep cook working the line forgot to add the cocoa powder. The food itself was great but it was really just a pancake with red food coloring. Please check your batter before making!! I really wish that red velvet flavor was there even a tiny amount but sadly it wasn't. It tasted like a standard McDonald's pancake that was frosted, still yummy though. We will come here again and I will STILL give them 5 stars despite the minor issues we experienced. Our check was around $65 and we tipped $10 cash. WORTH EVERY CENT!!! Our server's name was Victoria and she was very accommodating and always checked on us even though the place was extremely packed. Thanks for the attentive service, our kind server was amazing. The food is always delicious, and we especially appreciate Ivanka and Thomas for their excellent service. However, I couldn't give a full five stars because the number of flies inside the restaurant is a serious issue. We found ourselves covering our food between bites and constantly waving them away, as did other guests. It really takes away from an otherwise great dining experience.
