Loved it here. If you're looking for food or drinks and are in the area, I highly recommend stopping in. I love it here. I love the ambiance and decor here. It's cozy and relaxed inside with comfy seating and a laid back atmosphere. I love it here. There is a huge bar in the middle of the restaurant with plenty of seating too. read more

The local restaurant/bar from Hilton Tapatio. Staff is super nice and friendly. Walking distance or accessible by golf cart when you're on the hotel grounds. Drinks are decent and the menu has something for everyone. Prices are a bit on the higher side, thinking hotel-restaurant range. Quality of the food/drink is OK - nothing major to expect, but for the prices charged, I'd hope for a bit more fresh/innovative cuisine. Plenty of indoor seating. Bar may close early depending on the patrons inside. Easy parking adjacent. If you're looking for a nightcap and you're already on property, it's not a bad option, but if you're looking to have a proper meal, it may be helpful to search off hotel grounds. read more

Beautiful classic clubhouse restaurant. The restaurant is very family friendly. The Waiter Donovan was upbeat, helpful, and friendly. The prices are more than reasonable for how great the dishes are. The steak frites are first class and rank amongst the best. The Salmon was seasoned just the right amount and cooked perfectly. The crispy fried brie is too crispy and hard but very good with the naan bread. Beware the entrance is not handicap accessible friendly. Theres supposedly another entrance/exit but it not easily identified. read more

Pointe in Tyme is a nice setting for breakfast, offering standard buffet fair and excellent service. For dinner, the menu is a bit limited, and management does close off the patio for staff convenience at times, which is not a preferred protocol during beautiful autumn weather. Overall, the food is well prepared and the setting is comfortable. read more

This restaurant is in the middle of a resort and it was a little hard for us to find in the dark. We had a few people with limited mobility and there seemed to be a lot of steps both at the entrance and down to the main dining room. Fish and chips were really good and service was great (Sarah, I think?). The menu gave more sports bar vibe which didn't match the seemingly dated upscale decor. Just a bit of a disconnect there but very reasonably priced for what seemed to be a nice resort. Side note. As we were walking out, security followed us and waited for us to get down all the steps (which took a while) and then chased us into the parking lot asking my wife if there was anything we wanted to tell them. She was confused but he kept asking saying someone had called security. She asked if there was a problem and he said "you tell me". Still not totally sure what happened but we didn't witness anything inside and we certainly weren't any party someone would call security on. The whole encounter was very strange and unsettling. read more

This restaurant, located in the Hilton Tapatio Cliffs resort, was quite a drive for us. We were lucky to find a spot right outside, but they're not too many parking spots directly in front of the restaurant. This place is lovely. There are beam ceilings and lots of dark wood and a big fireplace in the center of the room. There are tables and semicircle booths and the windows have pretty diamond panes. The crown and glory is the gorgeous bar with carved wood everywhere. It is absolutely beautiful. As soon as we sat down somebody brought us water and we looked the menus while we waited for our server. There is no cocktail menu, but there is a full bar. Our cocktails were very, very good. We ordered: *Lemon Drop cocktail *Amaretto Sour cocktail *Blackened shrimp tacos *Buffalo wings *Southwestern chicken breast with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus Everything was very good. The wings were so large and saucy. I loved the sauce in my chicken breast. We were afraid that it would take a while to get our food because we came in just after a large party. We did not have to worry because everything came out and perfect time. The only negative is that they allowed a guest to being a barking dog (clearly not a service animal) into the bar. Uncomfortable to other guests (barking) and against health code. I hope to come back in winter because I'm sure this place is so cozy in a cool, dark night with a fire in the fireplace. read more

Stayed at the Hilton cliffs during a soccer tournament and we were given vouchers for pointe in Tyme. We made sure we used it every day because how could you go wrong with free breakfast? Unfortunately the first day their French toast was frozen! I had to tell a worker that they had to bring that batch back in just in case. Thankfully after that the rest of the days were good. I enjoyed their sausage, they had a charcuterie board and fresh fruits. We really liked their potatoes and my kids enjoyed their bacon and eggs. They also have breads /oatmeal/juices and an omelette station. The staff was attentive and super friendly. The place is a good size for diff size parties. We also loved the hotel! Overall a great experience read more

We made reservations to have a bite after seeing a Christmas show nearby. The menu had great comfort food items with a more upscale twist. The garlic fries and quesadilla were a big hit at our table. The staff were all really friendly and took pictures for us near the fireplace and Christmas tree. It was a warm and inviting place. I took one star away because the website address leads you to the hilltop restaurant. It's a more upscale place to eat. The staff there were unfriendly and of no real help to navigate us to the correct restaurant by the golf course. They just said it's down the hill to the right. Thankfully the hotel has nicer staff in some locations. read more

This is part of the hotel. We ate here for breakfast and dinner. The breakfast buffet was good, omelette station and pretty much everything else you would see at a hotel breakfast layout. It was good and there wasn't much other breakfast places. Dinner was different. This day was Sunday so many of the guests have checked out so there wasn't a lot of people eating there. I ordered the smashed burger which was just a double burger not flattened. It was a typical premade burger and it was okay. The truffle fries were okay nothing special about them. My wife liked the club sandwich but interesting enough is that we lost our waitress towards the end of the meal so we had to wait for refills. The meal was okay since it was our last day and didn't want to go out. read more

Pointe in Tyme is a bit of an institution. It's got that old school dark wood that you don't expect to see in AZ but it's pretty cool. I was there for lunch recently and they just changed up their menu. It has a much better variety. Shared the hummus and chicken quesadilla apps and we all had salads for lunch which were really good. I just forgot to take a picture of my Greek Citrus Salad since I gobbled it up! Really good dressing with a little kick. read more

This was my second time here and I had a great experience. It wasn't busy at all, so I liked that we got to have a nice conversation without all the loud noise. Very nice classy ambiance... not stuffy, very casual... great food and drinks... perfect place to celebrate a special occassion!

The ambiance is lovely and the service was top notch but let's be honest, the food was literally Sysco pretending to be gourmet. I ordered the salmon. That was a huge mistake. How they can charge $32 for a small, frozen, tough, fishy piece of meat is highway robbery. I should have taken an Uber and found a local restaurant. Lesson learned. read more

Although the atmosphere and the food were great, the Service was very very poor, 15 minutes to receive a drink after ordering Ronnie, the server Never came back to ask if any one needed anything else Could not or would not split the check. Even then it was not all correct. Then once he got his 20% gratuity, he never came back to fill anyone's water even though we were looking for him. We all thought it was terrible service. read more

The ambience and service were wonderful! I was concerned about the food because the last few times I've been here, the food wasn't great. Fortunately, this time it was wonderful!!! I had the delicious burger and fries. The other guests ordered the protein bowls and Greek salad which they thoroughly enjoyed and would order again. It was a great change, thank goodness, because I love this convenient location near our home in Moon Valley. read more

Delicious food options, great service and even better views. I have been coming here since I was a kid and have always loved each visit!

First of all the food was great! Atmosphere very nice! Prices were okay. The really disappointing thing was to get the bill and discover that our waitress had pulled the old pad the bill scam. I ordered a glass of Cabernet. They only offered one Cabernet by the glass but they did offer two sizes. When I ordered she did not inform me of that and just brought the large one. $20 for a 9 oz glass of wine. A disappointing end to an otherwise nice evening. read more

Unplanned visit to this Hilton Resort as a result of Airline challenges and this place helped put the evening back together. 3 of us in the party, we were seated promptly and with their Full Bar available, I opted for a Bulleit and Coke. The potato dipper appetizer was amazing! The potatoes were crispy enough to hold up under the toppings, but still fluffy enough for that potato goodness. The queso had great flavor and the pork was tender. The plate was scraped on this one. Lol The burger... my goodness! I ordered medium well and it was so juicy and seasoned well. Very enjoyable. Service was great also. Glad I was able to end the evening on a high note. read more

As out-of-towners, we read reviews and expected a calm, flavorful experience. We were more than disappointed with the food; it was no better than a typical average diner meal. The cocktails and drinks were watered down and did not taste right. The hotel environment is beautiful, but they allow people to smoke, or, if not allowed, they still overlook the smokers next to us. The waitress was kind and helpful, but the experience was otherwise regrettable, especially since it is a new Christmas tradition to go out to dinner. X read more

They had amazing service in the place, super clean and super great. Unfortunately the food was utterly disgusting. The omelette man was really good, but besides that I think the bacon and the sausage had way too much oil and it was undercooked I come back to this place again if there is nothing else to eat. read more

If your hungry, this place does the job, however the food is mediocre at best. Bartender though is truly the gem of Pointe in Thyme. We stayed at the resort and decided to walk over here for dinner. I should note their online menu for room service is different than the in location menu. It was beautiful inside. My husband and son enjoyed their meals. I got wings. The first two were good. I got to the third one and it was not cooked all the way. It was still pink in the middle. I stopped eating. The waitress never asked if everything was ok nor did I speak up about it. Not sure I would be going back if we ever stay here again to be honest. read more

The food and the service were both Top notch. I had the baked tofu and it was delicious.

This is the mid-level restaurant for Pointe Hilton. It's spacious for large parties, has everything from burgers to steak and pasta on the menu and the servers are friendly and attentive. They overcooked my daughter's chicken tenders and the salad was slightly overdressed. Nothing to write home about but certainly a good meal after a long day at the hotel pool. read more

Located inside the Hilton resort, PIT was open for brunch and so we tried it. Breakfast was served buffet style, and it was hands down the best buffet style breakfast I have ever had. We went back to try it again and we were not disappointed. They had egg bake, potatoes, bacon, French toast sticks, yogurt and toppings (fruit and granola), and oatmeal with toppings. This may sound pretty basic, but the food was very, very good. If you're on the fence, go ahead and give it a try : ) read more

Food recommendation, the lunch protein bowl was delicious, I liked the presentation of ingredients in pie like sections in a large open bowl. Service was also attentive. Spent a night at the resort and ate here 3 times. Twice for breakfast and once for dinner. For breakfast it is buffet only. There is a crabby hostess who takes your money as you enter. We thought this was so odd. Then you seat yourself but you aren't allowed to sit in the room where the buffet happens. We were very curious about why not, but never figured it out. We sat for about 10 min as we were waiting for our daughter, but no one greeted us nor came for a drink/coffee order. Finally I asked the couple at a table near us who explained it's ALL self serve. They have plastic cups and water pitchers here and there. There was a coffee pot. All were located by paper/plastic cups. I wanted a Diet Coke, so I had to ask the woman making omelets for help. She directed me to the bar! Anyway, once we got all of that established we went to get food. I want to say--the food was great! Way better than we thought!! There is an omelet station, oatmeal with fixings, scrambled eggs with or without cheese, French toast sticks, chicken and pork sausages, bacon, fruit , berries, yogurt with toppings...pretty basic, but we enjoyed it. For dinner you seat yourself as well, but there are servers and a menu. I didn't have high hopes as it was 6 on a Saturday night with only one other party besides us! A few more parties came in after us. We had the potato thing with pulled pork- loved it. My daughter had the burger and I had the shrimp with pasta. It came fast and PIPING HOT. We LOVED all our food! The server was great. All in all- way better than these reviews seem to say. Not the fanciest or gourmet, but it's all solid and in a lovely setting. read more
